i'll tell you about a odd experience i had with a old friend years ago, me and my friend were checking out an old office building that was set to be demolished within that year, my friend knew the owner and they let us go inside to explore abit, everything was generally normal, every floor had quite abit of decay, plaster walls were crumbling, and there wasn't any furniture left and graffiti was everywhere, we got up to the 6th floor and something felt.. off, as soon as we entered the door we noticed the hallway had untouched wallpaper, and carpet, we thought it was odd but kinda liked the 60's style wallpaper and we saw a few chairs at the end of the hall and the doors were intact as well, we figured nobody came up that far to smash and ruin stuff or that maybe the door had been locked till then, i thought it was kinda funny the lights still worked up there, afterwards we met back up with the owner and asked him about the floor, and how could just that floor avoid damage, and he just stared at us like we were nuts, and said that, that floor was the worst off, the roof fell in, and that our joke isn't very funny. we ran back up the stairs thinking the owner was messing with us or something, when we got back to the 6th floor we saw just as he explained everything had fallen in and was rotting. i've put this to the back of my mind till now, since nobody believed us. probably still won't but i had to get this off my chest.

There are probably many instances where individuals experience time slips and don't even realize it. If you are unfamiliar with a place and see it 30 years earlier, you may not realize that you are back in time. You may see a vintage car parked on the road and merely think it's a relic parked there by a collector. Other people experiencing time slips allow themselves to have the incident explained away by a friend or family member. "C'mon John, you took the wrong street, and the person you saw was some fashion nut dressed up in retro." "You were dreaming" Or maybe they allowed themselves to be convinced that what they witnessed was some form of historical or period enactment. Once you realize that time slips actually occur, you can be more observant when things seem a little eerie or unusual, and actively search for verifiable details. Nevertheless you'll always face sceptics and scoffers. But so did people who saw St. Elmo's fire, ball lightening and a host of other things that science was later able to explain.

I read od a timeslip a few years back that has always fascinated me.
A couple were on holiday in Southern Europe (might have been Greece) while out exploring one day they visited an old amphitheater. Thinking that it would make a nice spot for their picnic they sat down to enjoy the ambience. Soon things began to get very strange, the so called 'Oz' effect came down, the air became heavy and still. It was then they noticed people arriving in the ampitheater and sitting down. They were all wearing tunics and togas and they thought they had arrived just in time for a reenactment. As the amphitheatre filled they suddenly heard loud yelling, a little girl was standing up, pointing at them and yelling. As other turned to look the scene quickly faded and they found themselves once again alone in the amphitheatre.

Greeks didn't wear togas, the Romans did. Could have been a Roman town? Or a Greek town occupied by Romans? Anyone in a toga would have been sitting down front.

I did experience a time slip. Many yrs ago I was camping overnight with 3 friends in Northern CA in the Sierra Nevada Mts. I woke up very early, way before the others, and climbed up the Mt a bit away from them to relieve myself by a stand of trees. Incredibly I was startled by a man on horseback who looked like he was a miner from the gold rush days. I couldn't believe my eyes! It was like I was invisible to him since he had ridden up not that far away from me but yet seemed to not see me at all. How could that be? This was a man with a scarf tied around his neck like in the wild west days and even had on black boots and old fashioned looking clothes. He even had old fashioned tack. It was so weird that he never even looked at me since there was no one else there and I would have been obvious to him. He had just come up riding his horse and looking straight ahead of him the whole time until he stopped and looked intently straight ahead in the distance, only there was no distance to see because we weren't on the top of the Mt! Then he abruptly turned his horse around and rode off. His not seeing me bothered me the most because it would have been impossible for him to not see me. When I got back to the others I asked if they had seen the man on horseback but they just looked at me like I was crazy. What? It was totally quiet on that Mt and I thought it would have been impossible to not hear the horses hoofs since the rider would have had to pass them. Yes I thought it was a ghost. He seemed to be trapped in time. And it was so weird that nobody saw him but me.

I attended a boarding primary school in my native country. The whole compound of the school was fenced in and there was a gate at the main entrace. After my primary education at the school, I proceeded for my secondray and college education at different locations for the following eight (8) years. During this time I never set foot in the area where my primary school was located. There was also no communication.
About six (6) years after leaving the area, I dreamt twice that a new house had been built outside the main gate of the school. Two (2) years after the dream, I completed my training and was posted to teach at a teaher training college located next to my primary school. Two days after reporting to my new station, I and two collegues took a walk to the local township. The route went around my former primary school. Imagine my shock and consternation when we reached the main gate of the primary school and there next to it was the exact house that I had dreamt about two (2) years earlier! The house in my dreams was the exact replica of the one before our eyes.
On enquiring further, I was told that the house had been constructed by the school for a member of staff. It was built five (5) years after I left the area! I am still amazed about that house and how its existance and exact appearace was foretold to me in a dream in a dream

I had a similar experience about a building I went into whilst in a dream whilst taking an afternoon nap in my apartment in South Korea. I had imagined it being in Colorado, a place to which I had planned to visit that summer. Once I had arrived in Colorado, one day I was driving past a building that had a similar outside staircase leading up to a set of doors. I believed that it looked quite similar to stairs of the building I had been in in my dream in South Korea. I passed that building on a number of occasions as it was along the same route I took to get to a local laundromat. Several weeks had gone by when I finally decided to go park my car outside the building and enter it to see if it was the same building I knew from my dream. I walked into the building and immediately noticed that the foyer was the same and the hall going toward the back of the building was the same. I said to myself 'Now if I open this door and there's an amphitheater with a green stage below, I'll be blown away.' I opened the door and there was an amphitheater with a green stage. I was totally blown away. I almost had tears coming down because at that moment I knew that reality is not what we think.

In the spring of 2006, I was in Balboa Park. San Diego, USA. I walked into an area near the museums and there I saw a tall tree that was so beautiful, I marveled at it.
Later that year, I returned to the park and looked for that tree. There wasn't a trace of it.
    The whole area looked different.
This event sticks in my mind, even today.

I experienced a shared time slip with my partner a long time ago, and partly because of the circumstances it happened under, I can honestly say it was the most terrifying thing I've ever experienced. Yes, Time slips are real. I saw myself one evening as I was standing by the back sliding glass door. I thought I was seeing a thief, but when I began walking to the man, I noticed that he had a large cup in his hand and looked just like me... as I was approaching closer, he vanished right in front of me. I was so shocked by the situation that I went to the kitchen, filled a cup of water and went back to investigate in my back yard. After a quick look around and noticing nothing missing or out of place, I turned to return to my house. As I stepped at the threshold of the back sliding glass door, I saw the most couscous sight. I saw a man that looked just like me, approaching me from inside my house. As this earlier version of me came closer, he disappeared into thin air. I then looked down and noticed that the man I had seen was in fact me, as I was holding the large cup of water in the same way as I saw the man holding it. Another time, years later, I was in the same room (the living room) of my home and I saw my oldest son skipping into the home through the back glass sliding door, but he appeared transparent and vanished about half way in the living room. Just then I noticed that same son playing in the backyard and he then skipped into the house exactly the same way I saw him do as before, but this time he was not transparent. The time slip at that time was 21 seconds. I knew the time because I took note of the time on my digital watch. Similar things happened until I changed the back sliding glass door with a newer model.

Gettysburg is heavy. I'm super into ghosts & was on the look out for something, but it was my husband (who's more of a skeptic than me) that was effected. Walking across the field where Pickett's Charge took place, he suddenly felt cold, ill & lost his voice. He got over it after we left, but it was like he had the flu with an awful sore throat, and he 100% blames the battle field. He was pretty creeped out. Let the sceptics whine and criticise all they like, believe or disbelieve what they want, these things happen and are real. Too many highly credible witnesses have reported such events as to merely discard them as "figments of imagination" or some such. There are stranger things than we can ever know. Scientist have said they do not know more than a 1/4of what our brains can do. So saying that someone didnt say or was just seeing things or they were delusional when those people were not there is absurd. Just another way the governments of the world have brainwashed the general population. Also things like time slips, UFO's, Criptds, ghost have been seen or experienced for hundreds of years if not thousands.
There are paintings and/ or cave drawings of flying saucers that are thousands of years old, people who saw flying vehicles when nothing flew but birds. All these people are not lying or seeing things........ But if it makes people feel better to believe what is being fed then go for it, but don't expect the few who know the truth to believe or be cowed by those nonbelievers.

I think some people discredit these things because, yes it doesn't fit into their current beliefs system and they don't want to change it for multitude of reasons, but you also have the people publically trying to ridicule, discredit and put out very outlandish stories to make them all seem fake because they are hiding something. Even if it's only a cause or effect theory as to why these things are happening or they do actually know/pretty sure. There is information that is not shared. Scientists have been playing around with quantum theory and the like for awhile now. You also have the future scientists and intelligent lifeforms. Something is making this reality mess up. I unfortunately don't think it's a good thing. For people to get glimpses of history, random without effecting anything would be super cool. But this widespread phenomenon is I think because of "something/someone" which will lead to problems. It already has.

I totally believe in time slips. I went through a very odd incident on a train in the 90s. I didn't end up anywhere different but time changed/stopped. An hour train trip arrived at the same time it left...like the hour it took to get home never happened, yet the hour must have passed in order to arrive at the new train station. Strangely the clocks and watch confirmed the hour hadn't passed, yet I'd travelled the hour trip. I can't explain it to this day. 🤔

I was in there today, and no such wall existed, there had been no development there for some years, my visit was within a few months in 2020, and when used a nearby road to look at the area, couldn’t make out how I got somewhere that may have existed in the past, or in the future, most strange.

It almost seems like these times are check-points in my life or my just call "higher power" checking up on me to see if I'm alright and ready for the next moments of my life.

Excellent narration. And, I must say, excellent research. I've studied this phenomena for more than a few years and you managed to come up 3 cases that I had not come across. Land, Crowley and Baker's testimony is particularly interesting. I've performed such exercises as they were doing as am American Boy Scout, and they were performed by compass, maps and clues by teams. They are physically challenging, skill assessed, competitive and timed. There is an arrival window for the destination (+) or (-) in timing will disqualify you. Some American Car Rally's I was in, operated in too ran under similar rules. I'm pretty certain you aren't going to perform well if you aren't paying attention. Their statements are very credible to me. Thank you for your work. In my opinion your presentations are the best of this type and genre available and I listen to many. You a gift.

@HearthCricket I was wondering about the rotting meat, as well. My theory is that the butcher shop had been abandoned for a period of time due to the plague. The men had described the village as empty, no smoke in the chimneys. People may have evacuated their homes, leaving quickly to try to avoid the plague. The butcher might have either died, himself, or have evacuated with the others. He had to leave the oxen behind, since they were too large and heavy to grab on the way out.

@HearthCricket Further to the mystery is the fact that historians cannot understand why the entrance to the church is the wrong way round. According to one of the Suffolk Churches website it states: "The north door faces the village, but the main entrance into the church is through the flushwork of the south porch, one of Suffolk's best, as at Boxford, where the grand south porch is also on the 'wrong' side of the church. The carvings in the spandrels are curious - one appears to show a tree with two fish, the other an entwined foliage crown. Why build such a fine structure on the south rather than the north? Perhaps it was because there already was a good north porch when the late medieval donor chose to contribute a grand new one. But Simon Cotton suggests another theory. Perhaps it was intended, not for villagers, but for visitors to the shrine of Our Lady of Kersey."
It all adds to the mystery.

    • @TeamCGS2005
      @TeamCGS2005 5 лет назад +2

The reason I bring this point up is that there may have been a reasoning to have changed the orientation of the main entrance, which may in turn point to the time at which work on the rest of the church tower was re-instigated after the impact of the plague. Who knows. I Love it though!

Beef was aged until supermarkets came along. I started my apprenticeship in 1983. We hung beef for a minimum of 7 days. It would not 'rot' it would dry and grow a fungus on the outside at times. But not rotten, not look spoiled. However we have refrigeration, they didn't ?
Too bad these' boy's' ran off before taking more notes ? However I believe they witnessed something odd. Maybe a town meeting was taking place at the time. We will never know now. Has these boys had a better look. Which doesn't make sense if it was a training mission they would have there weapons with them, and trained to kill.

Goethe: "literary device", I don't think so. I'm pretty sure I saw my past self while riding on a train through a suburban Sydney station. I was sitting in the upper deck of the carriage looking down onto the platform opposite as the train gradually picked up speed leaving the station. This was around 2014, when I was 58. I saw a young couple, the lass was short and fat, and the guy was tall and not fat (not thin either). They were smiling at each other, but he was capering and occasionally jumping up to slap his hand on signs suspended from the station's eaves. As I continued to watch them I thought: 'He looks like me!"; and the more I looked the more he did; and, I used to caper just like that, and around the age he looked I went out with a lass who looked a lot like her. I didn't think of a time slip at first (even after they were lost to sight as my train left that station). First I thought: 'What a coincidence!' Then I thought: 'Did that very similar looking lass I went out with have a child from me (we split up after only a couple of months) and that's why he looked so much like me?' But then I thought: 'What are the odds that he would choose the same kind of girl friend when he got to the age I was when with his mother?' I can't remember how much later the time slip idea occurred to me, but both the lass and the young man looked very much like that 'girl' I went out with and myself (respectively).

Some decades ago I took it upon myself to read Arnold Toynbe's 12 volume 'A Study of History.' In volume X, 'The Inspirations of Historians', subs3ction E 'The Quest for Meaning Behind the Facts of History', Toynbe discusses at some length his own experiences with time slips; two of which come to mind. In the 1912, Toynbe was sitting at the twin summits of the citadel of Pharsalus looking towards the peaks of Pelion, Ossa, and Olympus over the downs of Cynoscephala when he witnessed a battle between a Macedonian phalanx fight invading Roman legions. Some years later, he was in a basement in the city of Bath when he witnessed a column of Roman soldiers walk past him. Toynbe wrote about several such time slip experiences. Apparantly, they may occur far more commonly than we might imagine.

@@katyelibac1738 You too, eh? It's a long story of sorts so I'll try to sum it up here. It was _incredibly_ confusing though, I can't emphasis that enough. Anyhow for whatever reason I woke up in the dead of night. It was dark in the room but not too dark to make out silhouettes of the room (furniture, walls). Things looked / felt wrong. I recall moving my arm out to my side because, like most people, my bed was against the wall. I fully expected my arm to make contact with the wall, but my arm passed through nothing. I then realized that the physical shape of my room was entirely different.
The shape of the wall was wrong, too. The wall of my room had this rectangular bump where it connected to another wall, a fixture that jutted out a bit from the rest. I'm not sure what it was for. Perhaps pipes or something went through it, who knows, but it wasn't there. I vaguely recall getting up and touching the wall where my door was supposed to be and it wasn't there, either.
I suddenly realized that I had slipped into somewhere else, though I couldn't explain how I knew. I instinctively knew that I had to lay back down on the bed and go back to sleep. I did, believe or not, and woke up in my own bed the next morning.
edit: and I've had the covers pulled off of me in the middle of the night on another occasion. It's by far not the only "paranormal" experience that I've had.
youtube comments are bugging out pretty bad right now.

Wow that's creepy. I relate to one of the stories. I see my future and others close to me through dreams. I usually see it 1-2 years ahead of time in a dream. Then when it happens I see the dream again in a vision in my head while it's happening if that makes sense.

See I think that's like deep version of deja vu, and my theory on that is that there is part of your mind operating in non linear time and seeing a bit of the future and when you get there, you remember that you already "remembered" the future.

There's a gravel road near where I live that I used to take my teenage son to for driving lessons. On more than one occasion, while we were going down that road we would both see the outline of an old three story house in the woods, but neither of us mentioned it to each other. One minute you would see the house, the next minute, nothing but woods. One day, I mentioned to him, "hey do you see that?" His eyes grew really big, and he said, "you see that too?" We've gotten out and tried to get a closer look, but the property is fenced and the weeds are as high as my shoulders so we've never attempted to venture any closer. To this day, you can still see it sometimes. I've taken my husband back there, and he saw it as well.

About 40 years ago we were in the lake District, and my father in law and I were driving along the dual carriageway where it passes Dacre. On an otherwise empty road, he weaved out and back in again. I asked why he made the manoeuvre, he looked at me puzzled and said, well, because of the horse and cart of course! I said what **** horse and cart? He looked in his mirror, came to an abrupt stop, turned to have a good look, blanched, and then drove off at speed. To the day he died, he refused to ever talk of it. I didn't see or feel anything at all.

Do we really see a road in front of our car as we travel,or is it the efforts of thousands of people to make the roads. A Great and beautiful church, really consists of decades and centuries of labor that can not be denied. When we cross over, these exquisite examples, will float with us. Showing the beauty of mankind. Even now if you could raise your sensitivity, you could feel the distress of faraway relatives. Being really sensitive, you could walk in an old neighborhood, and see and feel everyone who lived and died there in each house. This way of looking at reality is there for all people. The question is who are brave enough to explore this path.

It was done deliberately in medieval Europe as a way of tenderizing meat also. It would be left hanging for about 2 weeks ,the mold scraped off then would be cooked. it was considered a good way to make tough meat more tender and flavorful. probably had a little to do with high death rates at the time. Doubt we could find enough people to try it long enough for a study nowadays though.
