I possibly experienced a time slip myself. It was 1970, and I was in San Francisco, California, on a class field trip. We got to ride on a cable car, which work on the old technology of decades ago. Suddenly it was like a fogbank broke, and instead of the modern scene, I was seeing people in clothing and hairstyles probably from the 1890's, the women sporting the 'Gibson Girl' look. There were horses in the streets, and tied up by the sidewalks. Then suddenly the scene went back to the present time, and nothing more happened. I never mentioned this to anyone that day, as the other students would have thought I was weird. I had an older brother with Aspergers Syndrome, so I already had a reputation for coming from an odd family. This is the first time I've ever shared this story with anyone.

I had a very strange experience in Nottingham, UK, about 17 years ago. My mate and I were out shopping and generally mooching about. With nothing specific to purchase, we very casually looked in loads of shops, browsing clothes, CDs, DVDs etc, in no great hurry. We probably went in to about 7 or 8 different places. A while later we remembered we needed to meet our Mums (we were still both quite young!) so my mate checked his watch. It said only ten minutes had passed which seemed impossible. We checked with a random pedestrian and they confirmed the same thing. What felt like about 45 minutes to an hour was only 10. We couldn't believe it at all and to this day, i firmly believe something very strange happened to us.

This story isn't full immersion time travel. It happened to my husband and I while we were walking down a strip mall in Western Washington circa 2013-14. We were nearly at the end of mall, and it was less busy than the rest of the mall. It was a pleasant afternoon. We crossed a street and both heard as we did so
"I Love you, ______" (my husband's name) I stopped walking and glanced around.
"You heard it too, Kat? " He asked
"Yes, but from where? It seemed to come from over there (I pointed to my right) but there isn't even a parked car!" No one is near us!" No one !"
He smiled that kind wonderful smile of his. "It is the angel of our marriage, Kat!" "It seems so, honey!"
I nodded. and tightened my grip on his hand a moment. "I love you _____!"
He died a year ago, tonight of Pancreatic cancer. All this awful year, I've walked around the house, frequently, saying aloud. "I love you ________!" I miss you so much!" Sometimes I go out into our forest and I cry out "I love you, _____!"
Does my terrible grief break through all the veils of time so one of my "I love yous" was heard that day 6 -7 years ago?

My family and I had a weird experience some time ago. We were travelling home by car. The road was very straight but quite undulating. There were flood-ways with depth markers at the low points in the road, it had been raining so the flood-ways had a foot or 2 of water. We had just crested a hill and were on the way down towards one of the flood-ways and there was a car coming towards us on the other side of the flood-way but was closer than us. I was surprised when the car didn't attempt to slow before hitting the water. There was a large spray of water as you'd expect but the car never came out of the water. My parents immediately looked at each other and my father asked mum if she had seen it, she said yes, both my brother and i also said confirmed what we had seen. We slowed when we got to the flood-way, there was no path or roadway the car could have taken, the water was still moving a little. There was no big hole in the road, the car had just simply disappeared.

So I’m pretty sure I experienced a time slip. I was walking one of my dogs, bright sunny day but there was no one else walking the road I was on, plenty of traffic but no one actually walking about. I got to the street crossing and as I crossed the road I looked up and saw a man on an old but mint condition bike. He was dressed in 1930-40’s workman’s clothing with a moustache and flat cap. As I wasn’t paying attention I just assumed he had been on the path the whole time and gave him a friendly nod and smile but the man (who I assumed was some kind of hipster) looked at me as if I had grown another head. As we passed each other my dog watched him go by and the man continued to look at me in what I thought was a rude way. As I got to the other side of the road I turned to look to see what the guys problem was but he was gone. There was no where he could’ve turned or stopped. He was just gone. I believe in the paranormal and have seen spirits before but never have they looked at ME like I was the odd one out. I’m sure I either appeared in his time or he in mine

“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration." -Nikola Tesla
I truly believe time is just an illusion and that the past future and present all exist at the same exact “time” but TIME isn’t the key to time travel it’s FREQUENCY. If you are able to find the correct frequency to that “time” you can travel to that “time/space”. A good way to explain how this is possible would be to simplify it down to how our radio and televisions work. All the “channels” are on at the same time and exist in the same space but to access that particular channel you must tune to the correct frequency yes? What happens when you turn the radio knob and start merging frequencies? You get distortion and a bit of both channels yes? Would this not explain how we see ghosts and “paranormal” activities? Simply our “channels” crossing slightly enough to see bits and pieces but through distortion. This also explains how we have “psychics and mediums” because these people are more sensitive to energy/frequency and are able to access these other channels somehow and decipher some messages through the “distortion”.....anyways i hope that gave you something to think about, have a good nigh!

    • @CogentConsult
      @CogentConsult 5 лет назад +35

Very interesting theory. You may be on to something there. Since frequencies travel in waves, like a wave on a lake or ocean, and if two different waves (frequencies) cross at a certain point, where a human may just happen to be at that moment, might that cause the human to experience the "past" frequency and see the past, rather than the present? Or might a "past" frequency wave be affected or modulated by some other frequency or vibration at a certain place or moment in time where a human just happens to be standing? I have no idea what might cause this, but it sure is freaky when you experience it.

I was sitting on the window sill, just looking out at the empty lawn when suddenly I saw a scene that hadn't been there. If you've ever seen Gone With The Wind & remember the BBQ scene, you can imagine about what I was seeing. I hadn't seen GWTW yet & it wasn't exactly the same. Just the dress of the people was similar. Many of the men were in military outfits of various colors & ranks. The ladies all wore long elaborate dresses. Then suddenly, my sister said "what is going on down there?" & everything faded away. We didn't speak about it for years!

I was 15 years old living in Atlanta, GA. When at my fathers apartment I waited outside as we were about to leave to a drive in theatre (Raiders of the Lost Ark). I was staring at the road in front of my dad‘s apartment. It was sort of a half trance gaze really looking at nothing. All of a sudden I could see fire trucks, hoses, and water. It shocked me back into reality. I was so upset I had to tell my dad. He and my younger brother looked at me like I was crazy. We went to the movie and started driving home. When we reached the entrance we noticed red lights. As we approached the apartment fire trucks were everywhere. Then we noticed that it was my fathers apartment that had burned down. Both my father and brother gave me odd looks for years after. My brother asked me about it years later and asked if I had burned down the apartment. I had to remind him that I never went into the apartment before going to the movie.

An aunt of mine experienced the same thing when on holiday in Cornwall. In an old small town, not famous at all, she somehow knew where everything was, certain places and streets, etc. She came from York in the North of England, about 600 km away and had never been to Cornwall in her whole life, until during a holiday in the region, she felt a strong urge to visit this small place only the locals would have known. I also think her spiritual memory took her there, where she recognized certain things only a person very familiar with the place, like a local, could have known. Another story in my life that makes me certain that there is an afterlife and reincarnation. Thank you for sharing your story with us all, Falicia, and God bless you and your family. ❤

My wife has had many, many lucid or "waking dreams" where she falls asleep and wakes up somewhere else. Not sleep walking, per se, but literally anywhere. One particular example was when we were driving in the New England area and she fell asleep in the car. She "woke up" to find herself in a small private jet coming in to land in a municipal airport in southern California. I was there too, and she remembered the name of the airport because the pilot mentioned it. She said it was a funny name, Shultz-Sonoma. We were apparently coming to see a property we were thinking of buying. People were waiting to meet us at the airfield. When she awoke back in the car, she recounted all this and I later wrote it down. Although she had never been to that part of California, she had described everything perfectly.

I had a weird "time travel" experience as a kid in the 80s. I was on a road trip with my parents on the Canadian side of the Great Lakes. We were camping out in a rural area, the camp's roads were all gravel and the place had outhouses. I woke up in the middle of the night having to use the bathroom really badly. I walked up the gravel hill and on the other side was a fully lit fitness complex. It was full of people. I went inside to use the bathroom and went back to my tent. The next morning as we were leaving, I looked around for the building and it was nowhere in sight. I could be wrong, but I don't think 24 hour fitness clubs were all that common back then, and in such a remote location. It actually had more of a community center feel.

The most interesting part of their experience (to me) was that the French the people were speaking during their experience was different, french, but the pronunciation and word usage was archaic, as it would be if you were back in that day. The creepy part was that it was so still, windless and seemed almost two dimensional, the people moved in a wooden unnatural way. Yikes.

Dont get me wrong when I say this... at least read the WHOLE message before @ing me! -- when we are discussing potential paranormal activity the question of religion at least has to come up for some. (While I do not personally subscribe to this particular comment I am about to make... having been raised in a non-denominational but most Christian church for some time... I learned the following) -- In some Christian beliefs, those that pass away are "asleep - waiting for judgement day" where they either are allowed into Heaven... or cast into the "Sea of forgottenness " - something to that affect. So I am curious... if one follows this belief... that those who have passed are awaiting judgement.. then "ghosts" must not be our previously living loved ones. But either Angel's or Demons. - Now.. like I said... I dont personally believe in the "asleep, awaiting judgement" idea because I have personally experienced things I simply cannot rationalize. I am really just curious... how many "Christian" believers also believe in "ghosts" - because the idea seems contradictory to me. And that's just it... TO ME! I am not about to tell somebody they are wrong... or to disagree with somebody having an authentic experience. That is NOT my goal. Just.. to bring up a topic to potentially discuss. RESPECTFULLY!! Remember... just because u dont agree or dont share thoughts... is absolutely not a reason to be rude, angry, or disrespectful to somebody else. -- I have many stories of "spirits, ghosts, or paranormal activity" that I personally experienced. I am definitely open to the ideas.... but u am also able to consider there being a rational explanation that I (or we as humans) just dont understand yet. Like.... time slips... for example. Cheers everybody! I mean no disrespect to anybody or their beliefs! No matter what... please understand that.

    • @jessicacanfield5408
      @jessicacanfield5408 5 лет назад +35

Zachary G. I am a faithful Christian and I can not, not believe in Ghosts because I live with them. I have tried tries to rationalize the sounds of my house like footsteps coming up my basement stairs and footsteps and doors opening that didn't really open just the sounds. Then I saw a black cat dash down my hall when we didn't have a cat and a young man standing in my livingroom smiling at me. It was really nice to see him actually. Anyway I have believed that ghost could exist for a long time just because there are so many stories out there from hundreds of years ago.
I also believe and dont quote me but I think there is some where in the bible that says we were not told everything because we could not handle them, and I believe ghosts, time slips, parallel universes are the one thing that people of old could not have handled well. I am sure there is much more

That first story (about Goddard's RAF time slip) was pretty darned interesting. I am an American civilian...but l did date an RAF Squadren leader for a period of time...long ago. Lots of
happy/interesting/entertaining conversations occurred.... including some topics involving the "paranormal" and aircraft. It was clear he would not pursue these conversations... and it seemed that apparently pilots in general were quite uncomfortable of such conversations... it seems no pilot ever wants to have to have to report anything that might cause his "stability" to come in question. I found it interesting that Goddard was apparently at ease in discussing his experiences...but his career had already been quite long-standing and likely nearing its end anyway. Interesting.
    BTW, Mick. Never forgot you.

I had a strange experience at versailles in 2003 , we went to a tea room in Marie Antoinette’s small castle and it felt strange . I felt as if a tea party had just wrapped up, a foot man came running up to us and was saying something in french , he was asking us to go to the garden , but something did not feel right so we quickly left the place 😅

Rishabh Khanna When I was 14 I went for the 1st time to Versailles, and when I went to the balcony where Marie Antoinette stood watching the people asking for bread I felt a "deja vu"sensation, as if I had been there previously and knew the place very well. Later on in life when I again went to Versailes I learnt that to the left of this balcony were the private rooms of the queen and king of France. So from then on I believed that I was the reincarnation of Marie Antoinette and that explained why the place had felt so familiar to me.

I stayed overnight in Yosemite Park together with my small nephew that I took for a visit. Everything there was so familiar as if I have been there many times. We went walking and he asked to go buy something to be able to fish". And he did buy something and we had a fun fishing. Later we went for dinner and I was stunned to see restaurants exactly as I "remembered". Some people got talking with us as a "remembered". I said to my nephew "everything is so familiar" and he replied "to me too". The experience spooked me so much that I couldn't sleep the whole night, couldn't understand how could it all be so familiar. I believe that I watched a film or perhaps many films that were filmed there. There is no other way that I could be so familiar with it all. But I don't want to go back there again, the experience was too spooky. There was another experience in wax museum in San Francisco where I lost my nephew. I don't know how was that possible but as I run out all terrified he was standing there crying said "where have you been all this time". I don't know what happened there but I definitely will not have any crystal figurines with me, ever.

As fate would have it my aunt Lisa moved into the neighboring unit 2 years later . I was on drugs at the time. I went to stay with her and my cousins. My addiction had started there in the adjoining unit where a heavy black woman & her child had now occupied my old unit. It was them that I saw. I had somehow seen an apparition of the FUTURE (not of the dead) I never believed in any kind of paranormal before but the experience opened my mind. It was 100% undoubtedly them. Still gives me goosebumps and I can’t even begin to explain why or what exactly had happened to me.

Time slip happens ...It happened to me: Year 1967 Bucharest. I was walking to a tram station and I choose to go on a parallel street, as I was bored walking on same road again and again...But , as I was walking , I saw the street was not the same , as I knew it was...new 10 story buildings, were lined up on my right , nobody around , pavement all over and started to rain...I had no umbrella to protect me ...the rain was soft and warm...I told myself that my new expensive dress will be ruined by rain ...Finally, I turned to my right to go to my tram station and everything was back to normal...but , people was looking at me being all soaked my hair and my dress ...I looked behind and all buildings disappeared, no rain , no clouds...just a beautiful afternoon. In few years time they started building what I saw in my rainy walk.... Only than I realized that I had a vision of the future ....My family told me to keep my story a secret , or everybody will think that I am crazy. My mother also had a time slip...walking on a very known street, she was lost and could not find her way out of there as the road was suddenly different .....This type of things , never happened to me, or to my mom again and I am thankful for this.

I had an odd experience while I was driving a very familiar road. As usual, keeping an eye on the rear view mirror, I noticed the road was empty behind me. There were no turnings or entrances on or off this stretch of road. I had literally just glanced at the mirror, all still empty when a whiteness filled my mirror. I looked and a white car was practically on my bumper yet I hadn't seen it approach despite having a straight and clear road behind me. The next thing it was speeding past yet I didn't see the maneuver. It sped up the road and went round the bend and out of sight. As I reached the bend and looked ahead the car had vanished. It shouldn't have because I could see far far ahead on the straight road and still no turnings. I can't explain it. Next thing the traffic on the road increased and felt normal again. Odd...... this was a dual carriage way so there were no drives etc opening onto it, there were no lay bys and nowhere for the car to go but thin air. I was traveling at about 75 miles per hour and was not tired or under the influence of drink or drugs.

I said, Syd, why did you pull over like that? to which he answered ' well, I can't drive through it can I?. Through what? I asked, puzzled. The horse and cart he said. From the look of my face, he looked in his mirror, banged on the brakes, turned to look over his shoulder, and went white as a sheet.
There was nowhere near for it to turn in to. The roadway was straight for a mile, and I didn't see a thing.

Time slips are real. They’re not really “slips,” but portals. I experienced one myself - weirdest, strangest thing you ever want to experience - you don’t want one. You feel a little “ill” and “constrained” in some way - like on a stage. You feel like the space you are walking in is “not quite right,” and yet, it’s as real as the nose on your face, only, you feel it’s “out of place” somehow. I can’t explain it fully. All I know is that when you enter a time warp, slip, portal...you just do not want to be there - mostly because you realize...you do not belong there. And it is such a relief to be back in your own time. Yet, you KNOW that what you experienced is real...as real as flesh - and it ends up haunting you all the days of your life.

I had extremely strange experience in May, 1997 in Paris. My Daughter and I had been in Montmartre and decided to take the Metro to the Champs Elesse's sorry about the spelling. As we were exiting the Metro I could hear an enormous crowd yelling and cheering which became louder and louder as we climbed the stairs from the Metro to ground level at the Place de la Concorde, where upon reaching the ground level I stopped dead in my tracks as I was now in full view of 18th century Paris and executions by guiltine were taking place and the people watching were cheering. All in peasant clothing of the day. It was so palpable that I could smell the air and their cheers and hear the guitinee blade drop. I stood there for several minutes feeling that it couldn't be really happening, but it was. I have never been able to understand what I witnessed that day, but I do know that the Place de la Concorde does sit on a ley line and I am a clairaudient I can still feel the emotions of the experience today.

I heard the sounds of hobnail boots on the stones and just felt "uneasy". But worse was yet to come. I have had what I think was a time slip and I cannot get it out of my mind. It starts with a nice day I walked into a supermarket in my town and I noticed that there was some motorcycle accessories and I was looking at them for a while and then I noticed that I couldn’t see out of the shop window and then to my surprise I saw children’s toys all over the store they were old style toys like beach balls pogo sticks etc I said to some lady why is there toys in the store and were is the beverage stock she said I don’t know I tried to see out the shop windows but there was only bright light like the sun I had no idea this was happening till after on anyway a bell rang and it was back to normal I walked outside and an old car drove past me that’s when I really noticed what had happened

I had a dream that I went back to 2016, and warned people of the corona virus in 2020. I told them to be prepared and this was no joke. This was a lucid dream.

Interesting- I had a “vision”, from the past, as a child... I was in bed, my bed was located next to a window- I woke up, I was looking out the window and instead of a modern street with tract homes of my neighbors, there was a view of utter destruction! Bombs were falling, it was the view of a city in ruins- later as an adult and seeing pictures of the aftermath of the bombing of an European city during WWII. It brought back the memory of the vision if had.
It was so shocking, I never forgot what had happened that morning in 1958.

This reminds me of a weird experience I had in Monrovia, CA, in the 1990's where I was standing in the living room of my 1920's bungalow when a small aircraft flew overhead, and the sound suddenly made me 'flash back' as if I was suddenly transported to a city being bombed in WWII for 5 seconds. Then, as quickly as it happened, it was gone, and it was a quiet sunny Southern Californian afternoon again. It was the weirdest thing! I chalked it up to some kind of hallucination, but wow it felt real.

Terrific video beautifully put together and narrated! I had heard briefly some of these stories before but the details in this video were so much better and I really understood what was going on! I had never heard the ones about Bold Street before! Very chilling! Thank you for compiling these stories!

Great vid! Love this stuff. I subscribed immediately (if not sooner). Minor note. At 5:45, you say "... if they occur with no casual relationship." I think you meant no CAUSAL relationship, which means one causes the other. Similar spelling, it's easy to confuse the two. All good wishes!

I experienced something strange when I was a teenager. I worked at the dry cleaners next door to a liquor store. I left the cleaners, and attempted to enter the liquor store. As soon as I hit the threshold... for a moment... I was in another time and space that felt too familiar. After I had entered the store completely, the feeling went away never to be experienced again.

Cool, thanks for very well-made videos. I've had a couple of 'time-slip' - type experiences. It's reassuring to know that there are certain common features, such as silence, stillness and feelings of depression or dissociation which many people experience. Could it be something to do with Stone-tape theory?

More recently, my memories seem to draw myself in to the particular time when I not only see, but I remember things I was thinking of then, so that my memories blend. I could swear that if I let go of my physical state in the present, I really could find those younger times and begin living them again...

I believe these time slips are analogous to the waking lapses experienced by symphony musicians (and ohters in unrelated fields): musicians play, typically without flaw, but suddenly awaken to realize they have no recollection of events through which they just passed while not conscious. The 5 incidents portrayed in the video did remind me of a novella written by Thomas Mann (the English translation of which is know as 'The Wardrobe'). Mann seems to have written of a strange 'waking' dream.

There was an especially hilarious time slip _inside_ another time slip in the last story. The handbag shop/bookstore image used when the cop went to meet his wife in 1996 was selling a whole shelf of "50 Shades of Grey" - long before even Twilight had been written. I can see why he felt so unsettled; his wife was clearly about to overhaul their bedroom activities and in search of inspiration. Now coming across any bookstore at all feels like a time slip.

Back in 2009 or so I visited along with a sibling and cousin a house of a retired priest. I think we had gone there for some prayers. On a wall there stood a picture of a virgin, I think the virgin of Lourdes. She was surrounded in blue, as In a lake, a really beautiful portrait. For some reason, maybe out of boredom, I spent a few good moments staring at it. Actually I stared at it for minutes, really focused. Then, I saw her face tearing up. Tears started to fall. I told the priest. And he said it was something that I wasn't unusual. But what made it strange was that both my sister and cousin didn't seem surprised at all, and I'm sure my sister doesn't recall this incident. But that virgin cried. I still can't believe what happened, and I'm agnostic. But that incident throws all my fancies of rationality out of the window.

I read a story of a WW2 B17 crew veteran who was on a regular flight to Germany. He dozed off and had a strange, vivid dream that he was in a B17 again talking with a waist gunner. He woke up feeling super uneasy, fell asleep again and was back in the B17. The gunner said they had to turn towards Germany now and he woke up again. He said the dream stayed with him for many days. Lucid dream or strange time slip?

Nope it was in vedas, Upanishads, vedanta are hindu scriptures. The series matrix & Avatar is even based on hindu scriptures... Maybe there's where everything coming from since the number system itself came from Hinduism holy language “Sanskrit"
