Twitch has just dropped a huge announcement at Twitchcon. They are now allowing you to multistream on any platforms of your choosing as long as you follow a few simple guidelines. Let's dive into it.

You can't show chats and alerts from other platforms though. So I don't really see how this a win when you have to make the experience worse on other playtfroms.

merging chats is not the same as displaying chat. you do have services that can take the chat from one platform and put it "in the chat" of the other.. this is forbidden.

why is everyone acting like this is new news because it is not new it is old i been multi streaming since 2017 2018 2019 but i got banned in 2023 because i got caught also everyone is breaking rule 3 your not allowed too show your chat on screen youtube and twitch or others chat on your screen sadly . but lets be honist we all are breaking rule 3

Hey Joe, yeah it's a great announcement and all. But too little too late IMO. I'm happy on Kick with better pay rate, no ads and no copyright issues with audio. Besides how are they going to police it with small streamers?

Simulcasting
When you are streaming live on the Twitch Services you may not simultaneously live stream or broadcast (“Simulcast”) on any other “Twitch-like Service,” meaning any web-based network, platform, or service that supports live streaming of user generated content, without advance written permission from Twitch. For clarity, you may Simulcast on mobile-first services that support live streaming. This Section does not apply to non-profit or government entities that are live streaming for non-commercial purposes.

best part is "dont display your chat" "dont let others know your streamin on other platforms" shittiest way of twitch "allowing" multi streaming... left twitch 6 months ago and have been able to become a full time streamer on kick, its a shame they are so greedy just accept the fact that we are streaming on everything or dont... this in the middle BS is pathetic

@Strvtto I stream to RUclips at higher bitrate and can be up to 4k. While twitch will down scale it to 720p
