Beautiful adventure shared with good humour and amazing footage. I definitely must see ONP while my knees can still handle it.

I first “hiked” Third Beach south in 1974. We have backpacked there more than a dozen times. I took my teenage grandson there. He asked how long was the hike. I said don’t worry about the distance, worry about the obstacles!!

The editing on this is like TV level entertainment, very well done!

From Hurricane Ridge and Obstruction Point you can’t see Mount Olympus. You CAN see the Bailey Range from there. I have backpacked the Bailey Range that has NO trails. It’s cross county backpacking. Lots of wildlife but extremely few hikes.

Visited the park last summer, but I just found I had missed some attractive points.

Awesome episode! I've been to that trail in the Hoh, down the third beach but didn't know about the trail up and over and hiked the lower summit of Hurricane Ridge cause the road to the trailhead for the true summit was closed for Mountain Goat relocation at the time

What was the trail at the very end where you saw Mount Olympus? I know there’s the Obstruction Point to Deer Park trail that’s over 7 miles one-way, but was the peak you stopped to see Mount Olympus just a short distance on that trail from Obstruction Point?

It's a short distance along the Grand Pass Trail.

@@jaymontgomery3330 thanks! We’ll be there in a few weeks and won’t have time to do a large hike there so knowing it’s not too far to see Mt. Olympus is awesome. Thanks for your help.
