a radio station from Seattle played this, life is too short to know everything about everyone, ie I only listen to one or two tracks on Pablo Honey, so when this came on it was a pleasant surprise
captured at the beginning of their career, cool 90's , all ,my true friends were alive and enjoying themselves and even the girls were prettier then they are today ........i miss you 94 rip my friends x
@cheer16max awesome, im glad to see someone who thinks Pablo Honeys the best, now i dont think so, but its a great album and it deserves some recognition
I can't believe I'm gonna be this guy, but look at that...a whole SEA of people, all getting completely getting lost in the gig...not a phone in sight, with people standing mostly stock still, worried about documenting it for later. If you think about it, it's not just a technology change...it's a whole change in the way people think about living. In the moment versus planning for one that never quite arrives. Sigh. I'm that guy.
Have you ever listened to any of the other ones? I mean it’s fine liking it but I just don’t understand how anybody could think this is even remotely better than Amnesiac or In Rainbows
@@MyBeautifulDarkTwistedFantasy6 Maybe it's more like "imprinting effect" that when I first learned and listened to Radiohead's debut album in my college around 2009, I was so impressed with that style of music. As time goes by Pablo Honey becomes my nostalgic memory as good old times in school. Actually I was a bit disappointed when I went to their concert live in Taipei 2012 because they just performed very few songs from previous albums. if my memory serves me well only 1 or 2 songs from The Bends were performed in that concert. Both albums you mentioned are great but I'm not into it... just not my type. BTW, I have been a big Oasis fan since my college.
@@MyBeautifulDarkTwistedFantasy6 I'd rank Pablo Honey slightly below The Bends, 'cause let's face it, they're almost the same albums, just with slightly different approaches to songwriting.
@JuiCeBoX19 if you wanna hear a great band that actually records what they play check out Mazzy Star.. or going back even further try Shriekback.. there music sounds so full because they are very dedicated musicians that only record live
@drausrrr So my point is that compared to other modern indie/alternative bands, radiohead is not that overproducing compared to others. Last thought: When the technique is there, why not use it? In the early nineties, lo-fi etc. was big. I really really like bands from those days, I like Dinosaur Jr. and every band related to there popularity and genre. But let's face it: Why not use todays technique, when it'S there... Just don't dispute over RH. I'm sure you'll post your response anyhow dude
that's a proper radiohead crowd check any radiohead concert in this days everyone is just standing there playing with they're phones, and it's in general for the most of the bands now the gig culture is very lost this days i mean i've seen gigs when everyone just stands and pseudo-nod theyre heads to my iron lung how the fuck is that possible????
better than The Bends ???! how about NO ! ^^ The Bends had textures, sounds, harmonies, moods that was far far from Pablo Honey still an amazing album !!!
Pour l instant xlr recording a peur… on peut plus commenter leur connerie! Soit le bunker soit la liberté. Je crois en the smile en 2022 et Philipp selway qui chante! Bon courage! Faut juste leur rappeler l hésitation
Do you even remember the 90's? Most of that shit was douchey as fuck, i mean not nearly as douchey as the 2000's but still... douchebaggery has been a pretty major theme in all time frames
@JuiCeBoX19 really? are you that deaf? dont get me wrong.. im a fan but lets face it.. most of it was touched up with a computer. when you have twice as many members in your band as anyone else you tend to produce a ton of white noise, and they have no choice but to doctor it up for your pallet
Someone on the Radiohead Circlejerk subreddit told me to kill myself over liking this song. (Fitting since the song is about suicide...) I still defend it. Pablo Honey isn't as bad as the pretentious music people make it out to be. Yeah Creep is waaay overplayed, and their other albums are masterpieces, but still...
@@MyBeautifulDarkTwistedFantasy6 yeah man, ok computer, in raimbows, ammnesiac is better than all of this, exept of course, the masterpice that is blow out
One of their best songs, how anyone can dislike pablo honey is beyond me...
It's a fantastic album
Radiohead 'superior' fans would disagree /s
I dont dislike pablo honey, but compared to radiohead's other albums... yeah.
It really is a great album but it’s also their worst album
Pablo Honey is awesome and is underrated af
Thom's voice is so clean here... Amazing. One of my best songs and definitely my favourite band ever.
It's a radiohead song, not yours. Though we know what you mean
what a glorious thumbnail
You right
Yesssssss
Love this era of Radiohead, Pablo Honey rocks live.
Is there a Radiohead video you HAVEN’T commented on lol
They quit playing this song because they didn't want the crowd yelling, "I'm better off dead"... I love this song though...
words can't even explain how much i love this song.
Those sprightly, REM-style chords tend to disguise just how pitch-black this song is in spirit. I love it too
LOVE IT TOO
@@mywhychromosome the spirit for this song is actually pretty dimly lit, if you pay attention
this song and blowout were my favourites from pablo honey
For me it's Thinking About You and You
Anyone can play guitar and This
I've been trying to write a song like this for years.
howzit going
That's what I call a good crowd! Amazing music deserves amazing people. They proove themselves!
Only listened to their other songs February of this year...better late (though embarassing) than never...love Radiohead 💛
hes so beautiful
My favourite radiohead song.

Thom holds that last note for fourteen seconds. D:
You'd think that girl in the blue was a band member; the camera is on her so much.
lol i was thinkin the same thing
It’s because she’s got amazing jugs
I love this song and Thom voice. really energetic live version
One of the songs saved my life

Young thom is so handsome
this video has a vibe I can't explain
It's an amazing album.

Pablo Honey is not a bad album, just a first try, I could see him as The Bends' little brother :) !

love how the girl in the crowd is shown more than anyone other than thom hahaha
lmao yeah
I thank youtube, I never was able to find radiohead footage from the early 90s.
I think it's their best album
He's cute
This is the best song of Pablo Honey with You, Stop Whispering, Lurgee and Yes I Am (1993-1994 b-side)
To me, Pablo Honey is the best album of Radiohead.
So fucking underrated

Where's the 'love with all my heart' button when you need one?
I don't blame you.

My two cents on this on going debate: the only 'bad' song on Pablo Honey is 'How do you'. And top 5 album by them for me.
What 4 albums of theirs could possibly be worse than this?
It isn't a bad album, it's just that the others are better ;)
It says "Reading 94" at both sides of the stage
i hate it how they always show that woman on there. They should pay more attention on the band not that lady. XD
i went to a radiohead concert a few months ago, and it is a lot different now
I went to a radiohead concert last night...it's a bit different now LOL
i would kill to see this right now

why do you say - but? replace that with and. is it a competition between time periods for radiohead?
Ah, the 90s when douche culture wasn't such prevalent or just non existent.
Would that include you? I don't get it.
Yeah, it sucks. This is one of my favorite songs by them.
