Many teachers only show what they are doing on the page. This lesson, showing your brush in the paint and on the paper in real time, I finally understand WHAT the terms mean. Now, I just need to work on applying it! Thank you so very much.
I always understood milk to cream to butter, and now, thanks to you I finally understand the relationship of the first three! Fabulous teaching as a,ways😊
Well....as a baker and a coffee drinker this absolutely hit home with me. You couldn't have put it together any better.. fabulous ❤ ❤. .I just wish I would have learned this three years ago. Thank you thank you thank you.... blessings
Thank you, one of the things I find most helpful as a beginner is knowing the paper, paint and especially the brush brand and size! I can’t wait to try this tomorrow!
Thank you for this video. Many of my paintings look only like tea and coffee-- I have been missing more value! How to work quickly without creating cauliflowers is now my next learning curve. Thank you again!
Thank you for the great video. it feels strange that value in digital painting seem harder for me, even though mixing paint isn’t required. however, it has been a huge help for my hand-painted watercolors as well. Thank you!
You did a great job explaining color value! My colors typically are coffee and cream. With a little practice, I should be able to add value to my colors. Thank you!
Thank you! You can’t imagine how much I needed this visual demonstration. Conceptually I understood but just couldn’t translate it to paint and wondered, is it actually opacity-ish? You nailed it!
Thank you SO much for this simple explanation & demonstration of values in watercolor! I have heard of the “tea to butter” scale before but didn’t really understand that it had to do with opacity! 😂
