Super awesome examples and detailed instructions. I did not know the difference or name of 3 of the 5. Or I knew the difference in use but not in paint ratio. Thank you for your hard work 🤗❤️👍🏽💯
Thank you so much for sharing with us. This week my filbert brush set arrived after you encouraged us with more specific shapes and are pleased with it so far. Have a great day too 🙌
Thank you for saying most any decent round brush works good for you use it. Got a filbert brush but the artist make the strokes not the brush by magic 😊! Brushes come in so many sizes but will never use real animal fur ones 😢. Ty.
Great! I just couldn't quite produce the right shape of the petals of chicory flowers (they look very like the pink flower you made with the flat brush, but the color is blue/violet). It never occurred to me to use a flat brush to make this flower. Thanks!
Just one question, I noticed you didn’t give a size for the rigger brush, maybe it doesn’t have a size. ?? Thanks for the info, just what I was looking for ❤️
I've been looking up rigor brushes and there are definitely a lot of different sizes. That one doesn't look too super thin. Maybe a number two or three? 🤔
Please note that to use a "natural" bristle brush is really to condone animal cruelty. Animals such as squirrels and sables are kept in appalling conditions and killed inhumanely for artist brushes. Now synthetic brushes are so much better, there is no need to add to the cruelty. Artists in general tend to be empathetic people who love nature - let's keep it that way
Now if we can just get people to stop buying from Walmart, Target, and almost every other U.S. store we could save the enslaved children working & living in squaller, dying or going hungry in China so you can buy your synthetic artist brushes. Hmmm. Maybe a bit of a hypocrisy and priority problem with this preoccupation of animal cruelty. Maybe human cruelty should be corrected first, then we can stand on our soap boxes about the squirrels?

I believe Kolinsky sable brushes were banned in 2014 in US and Canada.

1 good goat hair brush can replace 4 of those.
