Actually, the apartment is not that bad. The size is big, the location is very central, it is clean, not shabby and not ran down. It deserves good 4 stars. Better than some rented small apartments or hotel rooms in the city center of London. In general, the 5 stars hotels in Baku are not so expensive. You could stay in one of them. I stayed in Marriott for very reasonable price. Regarding the taxi, you can order from Bolt app and if you notice anything unpleasant say that you will leave bad review on the app or complain to the police. Baku is a very safe city. Thanks for the comment. Ur right the apartment ain't the worse I stayed in but nothing like the pictures promised. Location was also too far from the main area we wanted to stay. Hence the change. Me and taxi drivers never mix, best advice is buy a data chip, worked brilliantly. Definitely Baku is extremely safe.
