9 Well. The auricular confession, that is to say the confession of the sins to a priest or a pastor, is a human institution. The Apostles, since the time of the Lord Jesus-Christ, instituted the public confession by the power that the Lord Jesus-Christ Himself had given to them in John 20:23. The public confession was abolished by the end of the 3rd century and was replaced by the auricular confession, which was established by Saint Benedict, founder of the Benedictine order, but not with remission of sins. In the year 1215, the auricular confession was imposed at the Council of the Lateran and made obligatory, then, two years later at the Council of Trent, it became an absolute dogma. It was in the year 758 that the auricular confession was introduced in the West by the religious orders of the East in replacement of the public confession. 10 And after the auricular confession, the priest said: "I absolve you as much as I can and as you need it." Instead of saying: "May God forgive your sins and mine!" 11 And in collusion with the priests, some kings and emperors took advantage of the auricular confession to commit crimes. King Louis XI used to confess once he had committed a great crime and he had, therefore, his heart relieved and a free conscience. And he often confessed, and yet if it was the public confession, he would not do it. And in that same time, this practice was protecting their throne. In Normandy, a young man confessed to a priest saying that he had intended to kill king Francis I. The priest informed the king and it followed what you know. And if it was in public confession, the king could not do anything to that young man. You see?

With the help of Idiot Puttin and Ordogan they took control of Katabakh destroying the Armenian army doing a mass killing of 5,000 soldiers leaving 8,000 handicap and almost 500 not recognizable bodies. I lived in Baku for 6 months 9 years ago; I still visit it in my dreams regularly even after nine years. Once I was in a park in Baku in a dream and the dream was so realistic that when I woke up I almost cried since I realized I wasn't really there. Beautiful people, beautiful landscapes, amazing cuisine, peaceful, serene!!!
10 And after the auricular confession, the priest said: "I absolve you as much as I can and as you need it." Instead of saying: "May God forgive your sins and mine!"
11 And in collusion with the priests, some kings and emperors took advantage of the auricular confession to commit crimes. You see?
Hope you'll be able to visit Baku again one day and have an even more phenomenal experience! You are always welcome to Baku.☺

Me from 🇧🇩 Bangladesh. How nice the country of Azerbaijan ! Your vlog is so enjoyable. Thanks a lot.
What a wonderful country. My best friend was born here. The food is exceptional. People are grounded, untouched by modern junk. Very impressive. Be blessed. Would love to visit.....
I went Baku some years back ,,it’s very clean ,green and people are friendly and welcoming , sandwich shop near my hotel was so good,,,And staff at immigration was very respectful and cooperative,,Wish to go again.
Yes it’s beautiful, clean, green, safe and peaceful. People are quite nice and helpful, however there’s one lady at the Immigration counter who is a bit rude. Also, when I went to a Money exchange around Nizami St.,/area a guy was unfriendly towards me. I think they are nice and respectful depending on the Passport/Nationality of the person they are dealing with.
But all in all, Azerbaijan is a lovely country and will definitely go back if chance comes my way. ❤️

Beautiful and clean country and people ❤️
That was amazing, thank you for showing us such a beautiful place with such beautiful people to visit.
Azerbaijan was part of Persia and it should return back to it/Iran! The territory of what is now called the Republic of Azerbaijan was only separated from Iran in the first half of the 19th century, through the Russo-Persian Wars!
@@tomrass1842 Persia actually was under Azerbaijanian's rule.

"Greatest" part of farsi nation starts with establishment of country named Iran. Iran hasn't anything related with the great history of Persia, which in past became great just and only because of TURK nation. @@tomrass1842 ahahahahahha lol well, this is a joke, I’m already in tears, if you delve into history, then just the opposite, Iran should join Azerbaijan, since our dynasties ruled the Iranians and considered them third-class people, our khans don’t take you for people, but namely the Safavids, Qajars, Ak-Koyunlu, Seljuks and so on... 😂😂
Thank you for a very detailed video! As an Azerbaijani, I really appreciate your hard work on doing your research so thoroughly that you nearly didn’t miss any part :)

@@tomrass1842 Persia was Turkic empire, with capital in Azeri-Turk city Tabriz. 90 years ago Brits who were fighting with Turks were able to banish Azeri-Turk shahs of Persia and to bring to power farsi nation, which were lived in undeveloped, uneducated villages in the edge of territory named Persia. Brits thought, if they remove great Turk nation away from power, they would be able to keep under control Persia. Since then, started most significant part of history the farsi nation. And World sees the disaster that has resulted in putting barbarian nation in power. Farsis do not relate to greatness of Persia. And yes current Azerbaijan Republic was part of great Azeri-Turk Empire of Persia.
