Tony Banks and Greg Hawkes of the The Cars-two keyboardists of that era that definitely lended more to their bands than they got credit for. Looking back at both bands (Genesis and The Cars) at live footage manipulating all those sounds from those 80s synthesizers for live performances and it sounding great! Much credit to both men!
All I can say is if you ever seen Phil Collins live, you seen one of the best concert ever. I went and seen them in 91 in Portland Oregon and that is something I'll never forget. It was me,my little brother,my mom and step dad and it was bad ass.
I went to see him in Milwaukee when he was doing his big band thing. Technical difficulties from the start. He was like "Excuse me while I go kick some asses." Also he said "anyone want to come work for us?" It was just a mess and we did not get to hear anything worth listening to... so you have that.

I was there in 1987 ! Paul Young in first part. Wembley is not the best place, in field good sound but sitting on the carpet (to protect the grass) or arround but sound echo but not on the floor. Althouth it wasn't plan i took someone the place on the last minute. I remember also the "corridor" of steel barreer and policemen from the tube to the stadium as we were hooligans for a football game. A great souvenir. Thanks
