- When I booked my ticket to Machu Picchu, I did not expect that the trip to get there to become a real odyssey. My Odyssey started in Cuzco. It was a long journey to get to Aguas Caliente. The trip was full of adventures, some of them unfortunate but most of them were very fun.

We went for 1pm to visit the machu picchu and stayed until it closed. It was fabulous. Enjoy your trip 😊
I do recommend that you go as early as possible. We planned to go for 6 am, buy my boyfriend got food poisoning the day before.
@@AlejaOdyssey haha yeah I saw that lol I'll be careful with everything especially with food and water. I'll aim for the opening hour but your vid looked pretty good in terms of not too many people around lol.
Maybe because it was late. Everyone was already gone. I think you can either choose early morning or later and stay until the end of the day so you get the beautiful light of sunset/rise.

My best Odyssey! Peru was a dream. I watched and read Tintin (Le Temple du Soleil) when I was a kid and always wanted to go there. The place is up to its reputation!!!

Hola👋🏼😊, Machu Picchu is so awesome, I wish you a great trip. You just need to buy the ticket to enter in the Machu Picchu. There will be a lot of tour guides at the entrance, but it’s not mandatory, you can go on your own. That’s what we did 😊 Enjoy your visit 😊

So I am planning a trip from Cusco to Macchu Picchu. Why take the bus to Ollantaytambo to get to Aguas Calientes when you can take the train directly from Cusco instead?

It’s also cheaper to take the train from Ollantaytambo. Have fun in Peru 🇵🇪!

What is a good place to stay in matcha Picchu for 1 week?
Why did u stay hotel before arriving Manchu pitchu, do everyone need to stay over night ? How many trains from Cusco ?
You can stay in another town if want. The closest town is Aguas Calientes. The train 🚂 is only one, but you can take it from Cusco and other towns such as OLantaitambo, which is the last stop before Aguas Calientes. From Aguas Calientes you can walk up the hil or take a bus to the mountain of Machu Pichu. You can’t sleep in the mountains though.
My right leg and hip isn’t what it used to be. I have a limp. Of course I can walk and walk up trails but the closer I can get to the top the easier it will be for me. Is there options or does everyone start at the bottom

Puedes volar a Las Vegas, todo los hoteles tienen tours para NIAGARA FALLS ( La Cataratas del Niagara) si es lo que tienes en mente. Es bien barato. Suerte.
