I appreciate this guide to saving money however, it does seem complicated. I calculated how much it would cost me to do this independently versus a tour and I’ll be paying $100 more for an organized tour which will takeoff a lot of stress and do all this for me. They also pick me up at my hotel from Cusco. In this case it’s worth saving it a little extra for a little less hassle. Nevertheless, great video.😊
@@nmmk9134 I did it with a company called Machu Pichu Terra. I took the full day package and paid $270. It was incredible. It Included pick up at hotel , train to Aguas Caliente and bus to Machu Pichu. Also included a guide and photographers that were with you all day. Google them and read my review! Have fun. ( PS I did go in February which is low season and it rained so it may cost more in the summer which is high season)
Beautiful video!!❤ thank you for visiting Beautiful Peru. I love and miss my country 😢 . Growing up I remember my father had a red jeep in Lima...he decided to drive us to machu pichu! Yeah! We drove from Lima...it was my parents, my abuelita, 4 kids in the car! For hours! I loved the memories...playing with the lamas...running in the rain in Machu pichu, trowing rock in the titikaka lake! My father passed away a few years ago ..but his memory will live with me forever. Thank u guys!
We truly appreciate you sharing your heartfelt memories with us. It's wonderful to know that our video brought back such special moments from your childhood in Peru. Thank you for being part of our community!
We watched your two RUclips videos on Peru months ago and found them very good. Today we watched them again after getting home yesterday from Peru and they are still great and you were right about more things.
Thank you for your sweet comment! We work hard to create content that our viewers enjoy, and it's so rewarding to hear that you appreciate it. Your support means the world to us!
I'm a big ancient culture enthusiast and have always wanted to go to Machu Picchu. I just wonder how my body would feel at that height and my age? Would being that high up give me anxiety/acrophobia? I would like to know how did it affect you while there even though you're much younger? The altitude part. Great content always
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoy the content. As for the altitude at Machu Picchu, it can definitely affect people differently, regardless of age. It takes some days to get acclimated to it but there were a lot of older people there as well. Stay safe and keep exploring!
thank you for another great video!! Peru was certainly an amazing experience. We were so tired when we came back we needed a vacation from the vacation!!! lol. Great travel tips
Thank you so much for the support to our channel. I remember watching you guys go and loving every minute. We didn't have it in us to hike but hats off to you guys!
I really enjoy the history lessons, trips for saving money and booking and itinerary ideas. I’m hoping to plan a trip to Peru next year and loved this video
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! It means a lot to me that you enjoyed the video and found it helpful for your future trip to Peru. Your support and encouragement keep me motivated to create more content. Safe travels!
Thank you so much for the support to our channel. Glad you found it helpful. We were there in July and you have to be prepared for it all around that time!
Bruhhhhhhhh!!!!!! I been to alot of the wonders. Never have i ever had to do that many steps just to get to a place. I'm gonna hate myself in like 3 weeks 😩😩😩😩
Yes, we actually did not chose a circuit. We chose the option that was like 1,2,3,4 and just went on circuit 2. It all depends on how early you are planning to book. Machu Picchu tickets sell out months in advance
Hey amazing video. Im having trouble finding flights for as cheap as the ones you got. Did you buy them while you were in Peru or in advance while you planned the trip
Thank you so much for the support to our channel, Check out our explore Peru travel guide for specific details chewstoexplore.com/product/explore-peru-travel-guide/
This is great information. What if I don’t want to hike up. I have a bad ankle that I’m rehabbing so it can get a little tricky for me on steps and uneven payment. Will they allow no guide and only visit the 1st level? Of course I want the great IG photo then I want to exit.
I totally understand your concern about hiking up with a bad ankle. You may be able to visit the first level without a guide, but it's best to check with the park authorities for the most accurate information. Different circuits have different levels of hiking available. Take care of yourself and get that IG-worthy photo!
Hi, I bought your Peru guide as we will head there in September. Still, I would like to know what time of the day you went to Machu Picchu . Very early like 6 or 7am of Little later?
What bus and how did you guys took the bus to Ollantaytambo from Cusco? Was the bus station walking distance from the historic center? Did you have to walk a far to the train station after being dropped off by the bus?
3:31 is it possible for you to add a compass direction at the corner map you showed?? Because Machu Picchu is actually at Northwest of Cusco!! And for most People live at Northern Hemisphere, just read that map might think Machu Picchu is at Southeast of Cusco.
Thank you for your suggestion! I appreciate your feedback and I'll definitely take it into consideration for future videos. It's important to provide accurate information, so I'll make sure to add a compass direction to the corner map in my next travel guide.
Machu Picchu is so magical! You two gave such helpful info on how to get there. Its definitely a pricey long ride there but so worth it! Def agree staying in the pueblo is necessary
Such an amazing place to visit. Photos does this place no justice. If you never been, try to go.
Truly blew us away the entire time. The views were spectacular and an amazing experience
U have no idea the feeling of seeing Machupichu is truly awe . It can make u cry

My flight from lima to Cusco was $120 CAD for just personal item and I booked 1.5 months out.
Sorry our flight was a lot cheaper than that. It depnds on the time of the year and airline as well.
The weather is bright and sunny,,, what month was this?
This was in the end of June/July a little chilly but we had amazing weather for sure!
Did you booked the ticket to cusco from lima while there our before leaving usa?
