Helium wasnt a scam. The coin suffered a lot from people spoofing or hacking the network for rewards. I was late and still managed return on investment. And it still makes a little each day. Early days prehacking wouldve been able to make bank.
When you talk about these "Projects" are you referring to the actual technology you mine, for ex. "Kadena", or "Neurai". I'm a bit confused as to project.
my problem is i have too many projects i want to participate in, but not enough resources. whether that be mining equipment or capital. i;ve been holding the whole time and the thought of selling my coin before the full bear market just hurts. I never stopped mining through the bear market so hopefully this next bull run will change that.
The problem is most Depin projects aren't really scalable, and you're pretty much locked into one project, which makes them even worse than most ASIC's in general. Depin projects are pretty much a side accessory to a GPU mining operation, and they won't be any more than that due to the 2 factors listed above.
This is a fact. The more a DePIN project scales, the less rewards you receive. I'm seeing it firsthand with DIMO--rewards have gone down so much since I started in July of last year. But that's also a positive sign that there's more participation in the network. Nodes also have this same problem, not scalable.
I think some people find depin cool but for some reason I find it boring compared to ASICs and GPUs. I understand that it makes profits but I just see it as a distraction from the good stuff

Well, it depends on your defenition of Good Stuff .. i have been doing quite well just with DIMO and GEODNET .. i have 9 GEODNET stations (and a few more ordered that should arrive soon) deployed for more than one year and at current token price i am making 100$ a day... They cost 630$ each... And imho, this token has the potential to 10x easily...I dont find that boring at all! 😅
