If it is of any help, just right behind the lid of the fuse box there is a diagram of the different fuction of each fuse in 3 lenguages (and also in the manual of this van of course). Very usefull video, thanks a lot!
Had the same problem about 6 months ago on my 95 EVC, got pulled over because of it but was nice enough to let go on. Second time a few weeks later got pulled over by same young woman cop . I explained I had been working on it and that it wasn't a simple taillight or fuse, showed her the wound on the back of hand from pulling the cluster out the wrong way in my Euro camper van, she let me go again . After long and tedious( and I mean it , lol ) I fixed it finally by running a jumper from the one powered side to the other tail light.
Just about to start a massive service on one of these, I like your videos, is it possible to share or tell me where you got the wiring diagrams please?
Handy video. My tail light on the near side has just stopped working also, same model and year T4. I didn't realise there was a separate fuse and was going to run a new cable but watched this video and have seen that my number 8 fuse has gone, probably when I fitted my rear camera. This has save me a heap of time. Have you still got your T4?
Oh yes, 10 years or so now. Still starts and drives fine so I can't bring myself to change it. Rust is going to consume it but as long as it passes the MOT I reckon I will keep it.
I have recently got a T4 and your video was really interesting. I did not even know that the fuse box was there🤣

Helped me out fix my rear fog for the Danish equivalent of the mot. The 'it's fixed until the next thing breaks' really resonated with me😅

And that will work, but if you lose a fuse you lose both lights. But if it works it works.
Good video man! Was your front out too? Mine has both out
Hey buddy, my van just has tail lamps on the back, none on the front!

Good luck, take your time, make a video and I'll watch it!
