I think having the option for all the tech is what makes the difference from gen 1 to 2.

    Great side by side.
The new scout at first glance doesn’t do it for me enough to want to get rid of my 18 bobber. But I also havnt touched one yet.
I felt the same way when the new 2021 gm and chev 3500’s came out. Didnt like the relocation of the side mirrors. Liked the mirrors on my 14 3500 better. But having a newer gm for work now the mirror have grown on me. I quite enjoy the styling. Perhaps the new frame and bit will grow on me too. Now….just need to get my hands on one.

I have one on my channel actually. It’s in stages for more so it’s been a pain but I stripped it to the frame and powdercoated it

How does the stock new engine compare to your tuned engine?

So the regular scout feels good. The 101 with its time feels like mine and mine has an aftermarket tune, 2-1 exhaust and s&s intake.
The suspension on 101 is also top choice

Bearded, maybe you van help. I am having leak issues with the freedom combat 2-1 and baffle. I brought it Directly to the Indian Dealership when they could install it. Then brought it back for the 100 mile tightening. It is leaking from the clamp where the rear header attaches to the pipe. The dealership has been on the phone with Freedom. At this point they have not found a solution (I had to take the bus home). The Freedom tech said a small leak is ok. I would prefer no leaks. I bought the freedom based on so many good reviews. I bought it to replace a Two brothers 2-1 that was leaking really bad. I am a regular working guy. Heck I live in a trailer. I definitely dont have unlimited funds. I have a 2022 bobber with ss intake and fuel moto pv3 tune. Any advice?

I haven’t seen that before I’ve seen it from the head of the gasket is bad. The crush gaskets can cause an issue but ya small leaks especially from that spot I couldn’t see being a real problem. What has freedom said? Have you called them?
This is the first time I’ve heard an issue with this exhaust. With how loud it is almost hard to hear anything else.

@@TheBeardedBobber The indian dealership contacted them. Freedoms tech said what the instructions said about installation. The freedom tech said a small leak isnt a big problem. He said I could file a warranty claim. I ride in different types of weather. When its cold or rainy a leak can act like steam shooting at ya. If I have them put tape or something on it I bet it would void a warranty. I bought the exhaust and paid $500 bucks to have it installed. So I don't want to go down a crazy expensive rabbit hole of on/off on /off. I am so frustrated I feel like selling the whole bike that I love.

Ya that’s rough. Unfortunately it’s not something I’ve seen before. I installed mine myself and I think I might have a small leak at the head but I haven’t had any issues. I’m gonna do new crush gaskets but that’s any kinda easy fix thankfully.

@@TheBeardedBobber I feel like I am more likely going to live with it if the shop can't solve it. I do have the quiet baffle in. I wonder if they removed it there would be less resistance thus less or no leak? I'm not a mechanic and just saved up, bought it and payed the dealership to install it. If the darn bike wasn't so nice it would be easier to live with some funkiness. Thanks for the replies. Fingers crossed. Ride On.
