+Дамиано Рейес Under water, you hum like an "mmmm" sound and bubbles should come out from your nose. You can hold the edge of the swimming pool like on the floor thingie, and put your face down and kicking slowly.

Just a tip for anyone watching this I had that fear only a few weeks ago and it took me about 1 hour and a half to get over the fear just gently go downwards in the water so your nose gets under and just get lower and lower and then when you feel confident just dip in quickly that's how I did it

I'm not a strong swimmer, but I can do basic stuff. Once you learn how to put your head underwater, take a deep breath. Make sure when you do the deep breath that you can't sniff. Put your face underwater, and let your body control it self. If your having trouble relaxing, try shutting your eyes (with goggles on for beginners). When you feel like your running out of breath, go up to the surface. Make sure you practice in the shallow end until your confident.
I hope I helped in any way :)

yeah sure i do provide a private swimming session to people and what i do is , to feel relax you need to control you breath first , take a big breath and do 5 second bubbles inside the water , however once you feel comfortable go to the nest step , and make sure you put you goggle on , so try to fly as airplane , keep your legs down into pool ground and jump a small one, a little push and let the water rise you up by making bubbles from your mouth....remember to relax your hands and body as well don`t stress them to be lighter , then try to kick with your legs to keep the legs near to the water surface, be gentle don't be rush or panic , keep in mind its all about relaxation and having fun ..then will start on tiger style to move our hand inside the water and to keep move them as a tiger especially once we rise our head above the water surface to catch the breath and to make bubbles again ... those tips could really help for any body

Learn to do a starfish on your back.
If you keep from bending at the hips and keep having you head in a neutral inline with shoulders it is easier to float on top of the water. Never let feet/legs or hips sink. Keep head from going up. Keep eyes to the ceiling. Imagine a string from belly button up to ceiling.

I actually got over the fear of deep water. I used to be afraid of deep water because of this childhood experience. When it was my birthday, (I was turning 10) we went to the pool to celebrate it. (Fairland Aquatics Center) I took this test, the test included jumping into 6 feet, Treading water Or Floating for one minute, and swimming to the end of 6 feet to get this green wristband. This wristband would indicate that you are able to go in any feet you’d like. You also had to tell the staff your name so you could be written in this book (Incase you lost the wristband). So, some of my friends and me decided to try this test. My friend went first, and she passed. My other friends went in but came right back out because they said they couldn’t do it. I had entered the water, but I didn’t jump in. I said no the first time but after eating cake and food, I decided to try it. I jumped in, and I instantly started to struggle, I bounced up to the surface of the water and went right back down. This occurred for about 30 seconds. (It felt like 5 mins for me). After struggling for what felt like 5 minutes the lifeguard finally decided helped me up using this stick. (shitty ass service 😤) When I got out my head was hurting and I felt super dizzy. My grandma rushed towards me and asked me what happened. I simply just said to her, ”Nothing.” I brushed it off, and continued swimming and having fun with my friends like nothing happened. Ever since this happened, I’ve been afraid of deep water since. But when I got older I decided to face my fears, I started to learn how to tread water by searching up techniques on RUclips. As I practiced in fair water (4 feet 10) I started to get better and better at treading water. I finally went to 6 feet and started treading water there as well. (I also jumped into 6 feet!) & now, here I am, diving into 13 feet. 💕

There are people all around you that will assist you if you are falling. Just try to calm down and be happy about getting in the pool. Don’t look negatively. I have a fear of water and I want to overcome it but I only get to swim 2 days out of the year, the way I do it is I set mini goals for myself, so about 3 years ago I set the goal to get my face in the water, then 2 years ago I wanted to go under so I plugged my nose and just bobbed my head until I felt comfortable going all the way, then this past year I set the goal to go under without plugging my nose and it’s hard mentally to get through the barriers, but if you work at it and really want it it feels really good, also if you have any friends who can swim that you really trust, ask them to come to the pool with you to give you some encouragement, I had my family with me when I was learning

Tell all this to instructor and ask for help, is too mucho important to try once and once more, you most go to the first and most important, to the seconds class and keep goin, you can, good look

I am 11 years old still don’t know how to swim I’m scared of drowning and my friends and family say that they won’t let me drown but it’s not that easy they don’t understand I tried swimming but when I needed to kick my legs I was crying I read some comments to this video and you guys are the ones who get me we are the ones with the fear people say oh you won’t drown I got you but they don’t understand us I hate that I don’t know how to swim it was also embarrassing because I also went to a field trip and it was to the pool I had to wear a life jacket and I only stayed at the stairs😔😖😭😭

I don't scare of water or deep maybe a little bit. The scariest is difficulty on breath or I can't hold the breath

I can swim, but I don’t like swimming alone. I always think a shark is going to eat my leg while I’m swimming in the POOL.

that's cool but about the breaststrock its not that easy indeed for the beginner to start doingit without knowledge and practicing , thy need to be aware of the legs kicking first such as a frog they need to practice on it then the hand then how to rise the head up each one has a tips to follow

Is a way to teach, in group, the other way is whit a personal instructor inside the water with you side by side, , it was the only way I learn

The only reason I’m watching this, I was in Spain once, my mom was blowing up my rubber ring, and I slipped and I was underwater, I started drowning and there was no lifeguard, however, my mom used to be a lifeguard so I was okay.
