Of course, he would be angry. He was jealous of Yoriichi and despised him for his abilities.
Now think about it, Akaza wasn't even able to react against Koku when he sliced his hand but on this one, Koku was mad and attempt to blitz Gyomei but still was able to dodged it. What a chad
