Bardock and Gine decide to accompany Kakarot to Earth in order to escape planet Vegeta's destruction at the hands of Frieza. However, Bardock isn't going to have them living in a cave, and he decides to take over the world. Will anyone stop the sayans?

In it, Bardock's personality already started changing thanks to the Kanassan. Then helping raise Kakarot with Grandpa Gohan , Gohan helped push Bardock further to the side of good.

If he didn't kill Grampa Gohan then he would have 1 more enemy when Roshi went to recruit his friend. And with Grampa Gohan that's one more person who could have used the HTC to train as well, bringing everyone in general to some pretty impressive heights.

In all honesty, I don't like the ideas of Bardock killing grandpa Gohan, Bardock and Gine planning to take over the earth, Gine killing the king of earth, Gine getting killed by Jaco, the deaths of Kami and master Roshi, Bardock being sealed away, and the story ending with Goku alone with his dead mother Gine. In truth, Gine and baby kakarot should have influenced Bardock to train and remain hidden, or to be better since he has to protect his family.

Personally I think it makes no sense that jaco would even be there (atleast not until many years later) and I also doubt Bardock take over the world I mean he might still kill a lot of humans but he’d more than likely end up living very similar to how goku lived after Gohan died (more or less hunt and gathering with the occasional pillaging of a city or town when him or his family wanted something)

Honestly depending on what kakarot does I feel like this might actually turn gero good , all of earth’s defenders are gone and in the original he wanted to kill goku and then help the world , he might build andriods to actually protect the planet this time around and actually help rebuild it

Kind of a strange story on this 'what if'. Bardock being more aggressive in this whereas in the other where only he and Goku go to earth, he was less hostile, which I liked. He wanted to protect his son and figuring out that Kakarots power level was lower than most saiyan infants thinking that Gohan might have the right idea in martial arts. With Gine there, he'd less likely to cause trouble as to not give away their location to Friza or the galactic patrol and still have the same conclusion as we saw in the beginning in the other story. Although with Gine there, he could go search for Raditz, to unit the family. in that time, Gohan would have shown both her and Kakarot all about earth and the ways of martial art as well as focusing on ones self, which would greatly help her and her sons low power level, and convincing Bardock when he came back. Instead we have a short story where in the end, Kakarot is all alone.

I think it would've been interesting if a few of the earthling fighters survived the fight with Bardock only to venture into the cave and with Jaco giving a bit of expo on planet Vegeta's demize, all of them would realize all Bardock was trying to do the whole time was protect his kid

@@anmonkey2314 Techniques. Although Saiyans are powerful af, they lack any real finesse in their fighting style. This is well reflected in the Saiyan Saga where even though Raditz was much stronger, Goku and Piccolo were able to close the power gap with their martial arts skills; the same reason as to why the Z-fighters were somewhat able to fight back Nappa instead of it just being "Nappa appears and they all die instantly".

i feel as if Gine wouldn't really let this slide, like sure she is used to Bardock and the general Saiyan way of life, but knowing that Bardock wanted to protect them and send them all away to avoid a most certain death. She would've talked with Bardock after that unnecessarily brutal kill on Gohan and got Bardock to come to his senses and make him realize why they did this in the first place. Can't really stay safe and off the radar when you go about murdering people for no real reason. I think Gine is really only here just for her death that really leads to nothing at all. Honestly not the best writing I've heard, just a dart board spinning and seeing what sticks. Especially the inclusion of Jaco, take him out and it makes no difference, just another hit on the board.

What I expected:
Bardock trained with Pops Gohan, Gine raised Kakarot with full of love, Bardock joined Z fighter and protect the Earth
What I get:
Gine dies from a shot, Bardock get sealed, Master Roshi dies, Kakarot is all alone
This was an interesting one for sure. Hope we can see a part two where kakarot joins Raditz to rescue his dad. Or learns of the Dragons balls and wishes his mom back, and they try to search for him.

I don't really think Bardock would just kill Gohan or would've been able to, Gonah can sense energy and is an experienced martial artist so he would've sensed him and dodged and tried to calm Bardock down making him either listen or retreat

To be honest I think this is a great "what if". There are many others "what if were Bardock and Gine went with Goku/Kakarot to earth" where they start a new life in peace and protect the earth so for me, it's nice to have a different side of what it could have happened.

I've been working on a story with the same basic concept (Bardock and Gine surviving and raising Kakarotto) and you're going a really different way than me. Which is funny because SaladSaiyan is also doing one (although they don't raise Kakarotto in his) and he's also going a completely different way than either of us.

This isn't a different location for Goku to go as much as when. Have some reason his pod went off course for awhile and it took longer to get to Earth. He arrives as a teenager. I'd still like for him to conk his head and all that to keep him from being the usual Saijian destroyer. It might be interesting to see how things might stay the same and what might change.

He isn't trying to destroy it or even create chaos. He's doing what he knows. Taking over, asserting power. That's what the Saiyans were all about.

Well that was Not what I was expecting from this
And so, it was what seemed like a day of victory, that was actually the day earth's fate was sealed. 15 years later, Kakarot would begin his vengence fueled rampage on earth, and with all who could stop him being long dead, it was childs play. 9 years later, Raditz would arrive on the lifeless earth and take Kakarot away. The universe would suffer under Frieza's rule, and eventually be destroyed by the king of everything. Perhaps if only the father had gone with Kakarot to earth, things could have been different...

#DBQ The other places in the Dragon Universe I would have sent Goku to are Namek, Capusle Corp and Fire Mountain. It would be very interesting how Goku would have been raised by the Namekians, Bulma's parents or the Ox king.
MasakoX has made a what if Goku landed on Capsule Corp. It’s pretty dope & still ongoing. And Salad has made one with Goku landing on Namek. Again, pretty dope. As for Fire Mountain, I don’t think too much would change in Dragon Ball. Goku would still learn basic martial arts, but from Ox King instead of Gohan & he would still end up training at Master Roshi & going through pretty much the same adventures. A big difference would be that Chi Chi would be his stepsister. Don’t know if they would still get married tho. That means no Gohan & huge chenges for Z

I was just writing a what if since I’m not a what if youtuber I wrote what if Broly was sent to earth instead of Kakarot/Goku but it was technically a Double what if because not only did Broly go to earth Goku Bardock and Gine escaped the planet to go to Vampa

like this could start in the cell saga, vegeta sacrifices himself killing some cell jrs, and going ss2, he would keep his body and train at king kai's world get kaioken and wouldnt get the spirit bomb focusing on ss2 and ss3, he would want to just come back after the time skip and prob would have mastered ss3 so, buu saga either wouldnt start or wouldnt stand a chance. super would go the same but vegeta would be ssg, and goku AND vegeta would get ssbkkx20 easy claps
