Your IR's are too expensive. Individual cabinets/speaker typically retail for $8 each. Just sayin'... Perhaps, a 50% off discount code? Just askin'... ;-) Good luck!
Yeah that slide was great and I’m hoping we were hearing some of that “most I’ve spent on a fuzz” pedal in some way, that was some great fuzz jamming, yeah?
Especially when he kicks in the part with the explorer. Damn. Got into some Shudder To Think, Pony Express Record intensity there. That one part made me want to just go buy the box.
The opening jam was superb! I think it right off the bat shows the justice and capabilities of the Captor X, and I do agree with what you say, being that as long as you like what you play, that's all that matters. Cheers!
I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon and say that the opening jam is one of my favorites you've done. I'd be thrilled to hear a full track if you decide to do more with it
I was shocked to learn that it only requires power for the virtual cabs and IRs. Even when it’s not plugged in, it still functions as a load box and attenuator for your amp and cabinet. That’s pretty handy. My amp already has an XLR output that I send to the DI, so I don’t have to worry about powering the Captor X on every time, unless I need the virtual cab/IR feature. The load box and attenuator are just always there working in the background, even when I forget to power it on. Very cool.
Just wanna say, I bought one because of this video - and that alone has inspired me to finally do a full album whilst isolating before Christmas in order to safely see family!
I think you're eval is spot on. I play at home so the Ox seems best to home record. The price is the only thing holding me back and I have a Bassman cab amp and the speakers are connected so I'd have to make a modification to allow connecting an Ox to the amp.
I just got one of these. I'm using it with a Marshall JCM 800 Combo. I really like the low setting. Great sound without the neighbours being annoyed. The low setting is pretty quiet, as you say, but that isn't an issue for me. The software installation was easy and it's really good. I really think that they should have included one more attenuation setting - at least. The top one means basically 'off'. I would have liked a setting between low and middle and another setting between mid and high/no attenuation. The options are too limited. The head-phone option and the option to plug into the interface instead of the cabinet, is very good, especially for recording. Over-all, it's great, especially seeing I got it on sale.
Captor X,... a box that does many tasks at a good level of quality. The OX Box,... less bells and whistles but performs its tasks at a level of greatness. I'll pay more for less features if a unit nails the features it was intended to perform. Personally, I'm a little tired with products that try to be everything to every differing task required during a recording session. The best gear I have worked with always has less knobs and buttons than the one size fits all approach. OX Box,... I love you for your plainness and authenticity,...you're truly a natural beauty, SMOOCH!
You can put hundreds of IR's on Captor X. Just need to set the length to 20ms, which is plenty long enough to make it sound good. This confused me too at 1st because the default IR length in captor is 500ms from memory. Problem solves. Awesome bit of kit, really well thought out and sounds great.
Love the music first, and talk afterwards. I own a Captor regular 8ohm version, and use it for silent recording of my tube amps at home. The version I have does not have IRs, so its more barebones, but I add IRs in the DAW, and it sounds and works well, also with pedals in the chain. I did consider the UA OX, but I didn't want to pay for the limitations also mentioned in this video, and the wifi issues in the software is an absolute dealbreaker. Id rather go for the Boss Tube Amp Expander then. But the Two Notes gear is great, and I will keep using my Captor for quite some time. Its built like a rock!
I live in an apartment and have been thinking eyeing an Ox, but oh man, the $1200 bucks hurts to think about -- this Captor X unit might be the answer! Thanks for another great video, Rhett!
Enjoyed the "intro" so much that this is like the 4th or 5th view.... reminds me of "PLAY" D. Grohl. Most of the comments seem VERY pumped about the groove you found. It's next level!
Thanks for mentioning the headphone functionality. It's one of the main reasons that I wish to purchase one of these and no one else has seemed to address this feature.
Antonio Pereira that’s kinda what I hear. I think suhr has a better reactive load. But it’s nice to be able to adjust mic placement and distance. I’ve been kicking around getting the suhr reactive load IR and connect a Cab M thru the one DI out. Be able to mix and match with a solid reactive load. I’m mainly looking for a recording tool. Not for live shows.
Stephen Naveed I’ve owned and tried them all including this new captor x. While they all have some individual strengths the best I’ve used and still continue to own is the boss Waza tube amp expander. The selective active load makes all the difference and works better with all my amps. It’s in the response and feel that all the others seem to lack or feel off. I will agree the suhr reactive load ir is next best, but lacks a lot of features the boss TAE has. Being able to add an effects loop after the amp with the boss TAE is just killer! It suits studio and live the best I’ve found and why I chose to keep it over all the others. My issue with this captor x is the reactive load doesn’t feel natural with about half my amps and the software is just over bloated. Although getting a good time can be found using it, I just find it takes longer and there’s more futting around to get there. The attenuate also is poop on the captor x. The click steps as this dude says isn’t great. Again boss TAE takes cake with fully linear attenuate pot with a full sweep.
This is one of the finest product reviews I’ve ever seen on RUclips. And for me personally, very timely as I am considering purchasing this piece of equipment.
Rhett, it's time for a solo album. I'm serious dude. At least an EP. These opening jams are insanely good. I think you went a little hard on the Captor. I understand that you prefer the reverbs on the Ox more, but you gotta consider that most of the guitarists buying it won't be using it for gigging. That's the perfect device for home recording without getting arrested for turning your amp up. Effects like overdrive and distortion may get baked in, but most of the "fancy stuff" like reverbs, delays, modulation, etc will be done with better pedals or in post - with plugins that put the OX effects to shame as well. That's the whole reason I didn't jump at the Waza Tube Expander. $1200 bucks for a bunch of extra effects I would never use while recording. At half the price, this thing is totally the answer for us home recording nerds.
Hi Rhett - great video. I ended up buying one and love it. One thing i think you may have missed in your video was to mention the Ohms. I ordered ma 16 ohms version and then realised my old tube amp ( 1967 Fender Stageman ) is 8 ohms after ui ordered it. The shop was able to switch my order and i returned the 16 and they sent me a 8 ohms but perhaps worth mentioning. Keep up the great work man - love your channel!
Rhett, as regards to the slots available for the IR's, I have just come to realize that there are more than you might have thought, as there are in fact 4 banks available for slots, as follows : - 512 slots for 20ms IRs, in 4 banks of 128 slots - 256 slots for 40ms IRs, in 4 banks of 64 slots - 84 slots for 100ms IRs, in 4 banks of 21 slots - 44 slots for 200ms IRs, in 4 banks of 11 slots Which should be more than enough I think...
His Reverb comment is way off too. Either due to updates since, lack of experience with the unit, or to appease universal audio.. but if they want to send me a free ox box I’ll shit on the Torpedo too
Hey T...great vid as always We have three studios and we swear by the Ox. We have one in each studio.the clarity and translating the bloom of the tube amp. The playing experience truly connects the player with the amp just as if the guitar its plugged directly into the head. We tried the waza and everybody agreed the sound was substandard and the resonance and presence switches changed thing very little. The waza software is terrible and you must connect to you computer usb to do anything. There is no wireless option/ The Captor X has an excellent app to control everything from your phone. The Captor x is better sounding than the Waza in our opinion . It’s closer to the Ox but not that close. The captor x requires a lot of fiddling and tweaking to get an acceptable sound. But that said you can get a rewarding sound if you spend the time. Clean and crunch sounds sound pretty darn good. When we output a Plexi or JCM 800 the Captor needs a lot of. Eq twiddling. That said if you spend the time you can get much closer to the Ox and we really like the noise gate it has a learning function for quick setup. The twin tracker is useful and with some adjustments it can sound massive. The reverbs are not good or usable...we end up using a Strymon in the loop to get good results. With our years of practice and playing professionally we will spend the extra money to be able perform with the best sound equipment available. The ox is fantastic and we love it, but for the price and portability the Captor X is a blast!
I agree... I've been using two notes live for years and just recently purchased 3rd party Irs from celestion. I can't believe how much more big and natural sounding the celestion ir's sound compared to the two notes ir's. I can't believe what I've been missing all these years. I've now fallen down the IR rabbit hole but virtually every third party company IR I've tried is substantially better than Two Notes. That's disappointing considering I thought they were a leader in the industry. I've also experienced the same substandard sounds in my daw when running their wall of sound when compared to using a different third party IR loader. In my experience, Two Notes hardware and software does something to the sound that gives it a thin, compressed, and very digital sound, especially when compared to others.
Hi, but with the ox, everyone says there is a problem with connecting and it's a bit disturbing, isn't it? I want to know already what to decide to buy for recording in the studio not for performances outside. Just for the studio. Then I noticed that there were problems with the ox connecting. So I can't decide anymore. Maybe someone can give me some good advice. Thank you
So glad you did this ! I would go for the Captor X as well, as the IR loader is a must for me. And the price point is really good ! And I'm french, and Two Notes is a French brand, support you local brand kind of thing
Another flow of the Two Notes Torpedo Captor X is that you have to purchase either 8 Ohms or 16 Ohms versions. Easy to have a selector for 8 or 16 Ohms, it may add a bit more hardware but it would optimize the production as well.
I think this thing is great. Everything I need right down to the 12v power in. yea! one little box to put on my board and will make open mics easier to bring an electric guitar. I'm stoked. Even has reverb. I'm kind of blown away. :D
Another fabulous clip from Rhett. I really appreciate the content. These ~20 min videos are just the right length to maintain interest & get the main points across without getting lost in the weeds. I also have gotten bored with the nonsensical comedic distractions that so many other RUclipsrs are incorporating these days. It seems to have gone way over the top & is often very distracting. Please keep doing what you do, as it really works!
I’m glad you did this because I’m a huge metal guy. I love to chug my face off. There’s tons of metal guys demoing this thing so I know it works for that… but I also love and write a lot of clean and mid-gain stuff so hearing how good this thing sounds doing what you do, has got me REALLY excited.
Due to my hearing problem I was forced to switch to inear some 3-4 years ago. Back then I played a Friedman SB and used the Palmer Bonamassa DI for inear. The sound wasn´t really that great, though, so I switched to Kemper and -BAM- what I got into my inear was great. I studied the market and noticed that there was really much going on in getting real tube amps into the digital world, peaking with the OxBox, which is - to me- way to expensive and prolly too sophisticated, as well. As soon as I saw the first vids on the Captor X I preodered it. Yesterday I connected my gear, the Friedman SM, my beloved pedal board and I new instantly: YES, this is it. And frankly playing a real amp again just feels ... better, yes! I also cannot comment on how it is on stage but what I heard so far it exceeds all my expectation and I cannot wait ´till I dfo my first recordings! Best buy since the Kemper!
Dude, your studio is getting stacked! You are correct with the audio quality of the OX over the Captor X. If I hadn’t just bought a Strymon Iridium, I would probably pick up the Captor X. It checks off a few boxes.
Awesome review, Rhett. I purchased the standard Torpedo Captor right when the lockdown occurred. Personally, I would probably not use it in a live setting, but for at home recording it is worth every penny. The TwoNotes Wall of Sound plugin is great and I find myself using both OH IRs as well as IRs within the TwoNotes plugin. I can see those who need an IR loader for live use purchasing the Captor X.
This is the post I was about to make but you echo my experience exactly. The OX was not an option because of price. I decided against the X because I was not even sure this would all work. So i saved 300 on the investment. But man, it has been a revelation. I use IRs and fx in the DAW and keep the load box part simple. A real game changer.
Yes! For home studio, the original Captor offers insane value for money! I do not use the analog cab sim on it, but it is always connected to my PC with the Wall of Sound or other IR's running and it sounds killer. I use it in almost all of my videos. For live use, I would definitely opt for the X though
I also have a captor 8. I love it! Interestingly enough, the attenuation function of the old captor is alsi its weak point. I finally bought a separate unit from a company called Plug and Play, because the attenuator disappointed me.
My procrastination has finally paid off. I've been planning on OX for a while. thinking seriously about Captor X I think it will absolutely get me where I need in my home studio and Whenever gigging begins again it will make life much easier. thanks Rhett and killer track today.
I haven't tried the Captor X yet, but I do own a Cab M. I also had an OX for a year and sold it... and I regret it, because I miss its room simulation. That is so important if you sit at home and play on headphones. Not to mention the OX's effects.
Beautiful arrangement of Cover Me Up, Rhett. I have both the Ox and the Boss tube amp expander, and I find I gravitate towards the boss in my studio. Maybe they’ll send you one to review? I know I’d never gig with either because of the size and weight, and having an extra piece of gear to worry about. But if I did, the wall wart issue is annoying. The boss has an IEC cable, and I believe it’s worldwide universal. I would definitely want this from a piece of live gear. The other feature that seems like a no-brainer would be to have stereo capability. It wouldn’t need to have another load or attenuator, just a guitar-level input to take the R-side output from a stereo effect on my board, like the H9. If torpedo would add these two features I could definitely see this on top of a tube amp at a gig.
I was tempted to buy the Captor X but settled on a Captor and an HX Stomp because that is far more flexible setup. I'm using the HX Stomp as a standalone FX board for small gigs, delay pedal as a part of a wider rig, Acoustic guitar IR loader for acoustic gigs, an IR loader with my amps and Captor, and as an audio interface. I can still use Two Notes Wall of Sound if I want to (haven't had any need as of yet).
I have the same Wifi issues with my OX. Have tons of gear connected and the OX is the only device I have problems with. Not a great solution but what works for me: I'm using a spare iPad that connects to the OX Wifi hotspot. That way it is pretty stable.
The last video’s opening made me say, “DAMN, Rhett is frickin rocking out!!!”. But THIS video was ALSO rocking, but with many layers of it. So good!! And also....ALSO....the editing made your playing VERY exciting. The editing was so on point. Can’t help but wonder how your cd will sound, whenever you get around to it.
Thanks so much for that review - and what a great intro jam! It's exactly the kind of review I was looking for. I understand the Ox Box might be a bit better, but given how I want to use them (and I currently have the Captor 8 running into a IR/cab sim pedal), I will go for the Captor X
I have the ox and I use it live with my Bogner 30th Anniversary Shiva, I do not take a cabinet and run direct to FOH monitoring via a floor wedge or in ears depending on the gig. I am considering the captor X just because of the size however I like the built in effects on the OX and use them it saves me carrying a large pedalboard.
Hey Rhett, great video. I have an Ox and from a studio perspective it’s perfect. Also, a tip. You can have the Ox Box log on to your network. So your computer or iPad won’t have to change to the Ox Box network. 😊
Hi, are you saying that the Ox can connect to my home wife network and I can control the device from my network connected pc (rather than connecting my pc to the Ox)?
Hi, but with the ox, everyone says there is a problem with connecting and it's a bit disturbing, isn't it? I want to know already what to decide to buy for recording in the studio not for performances outside. Just for the studio. Then I noticed that there were problems with the ox connecting. So I can't decide anymore. Maybe someone can give me some good advice. Thank you
The non mentioned point is that you need two of them, if you have 8 and 16 Ohm amps. Then you are back in the price range of the Ox but without a good working attenuator.
I had the ox for about 8 months and loved before having to sell it due to size/cost. I’m wanting to grab one again but I may snag two captor x’s and run two amps in stereo.
I bought a Marshall origin 20 to compliment and be an alternate to my valvestate 100v head last year and i'm running them into a Harley Benton 2x12 Celestion vintage speakers. I'd really like to ramp up the output stage gain on the origin to get some of those Plexi tones I see everywhere on youtube but it's just so loud on the 20w setting and on the tapped settings both medium and low it sounds thinner and never really sings like I know it can. So I need an attenuator. I haven't been recording for a while so an attenuator that can also be a spectacular DI box is maybe not such a priority. Before I had the amps and the 2x12 I was mostly using amplitube and going out through some studio monitors but I rediscovered proper guitar amps and I'm not keen on going back. Much more spontaneity with a hardware amp so I find myself playing more. You seemed to have some reservations about the Torpedo as an attenuator? Was it really not that good? I have zero experience with attenuators and this is me doing my research. There's a really cheap one available from thomann for about £50 whereas this torpedo is £450 I have the money to spend but I don't want to waste money on something that's overblown for what I need. I might get back to recording in future so a nice DI box would save complaints from the neighbours and probably also provide a more professional pseudo mic'ing solution. I guess my question is - Is the attenuation on this unit gonna be a problem for me at practice levels in a house with a relatively understanding partner? Luv and Peace.
I bought this as soon as it came out. I personally love it but I 100% agree with you on the reverbs in it it sounding the very best out there and I do hope they fix that they eventually with firmware updates. Also, you didn’t really go into the double-tracking feature which is magic! Very important thing.
I was sceptical (as a UA fanboy), but you really worked out all the aspects and arguments. 5 years ago - before being a Kemper guy - I toured with 10 unit stereo rack (well, 5 of it were preamp and poweramp) and it has been a big thing to get a decent attenuated analog sound. As I miss real amps in some situations, but find the OX too big and not roadworthy, I would probably also go with an amp and that Torpedo if I had gigs (= money) this year, which is a surprise, so your video would have had the effect on me that Two Notes hoped it'd have :P But they really should change the attenuation on the production models, this has to be more flexible.
Nice vid Rhett, great intro!, one thing no-one ever considers (or cares) about is build quality, I primarily repair backline gear for a living and often the internal design, component and assembly quality is where the $$ is, loads of gear nowadays looks great until you open it up. I own an OX and it's incredibly well built, inside and out, love your vids man 🤘
I was so close to buying one of these, when a guitarist friend (Aaron Lyon, head of Monkeymatic) who builds amps suggested I build my own and save big bucks, so that's the direction I'm going.
I have a JCM 100 Watt Marshall combo (8 ohms). I've been planning to buy a Captor X. If I gig with a 4 x 12 speaker box (16 ohms), I can change the ohms on the combo amp, to use with it. I wouldn't be able to use the Captor X unless I bought a 16 ohm one as well. If I use a standard Marshall 100 watt head and 4 x 12 box I wouldn't be able to use the 8 ohm unit on that either. I think it's kind of annoying that you would have to buy two of these, given the price. Surely they could have made one with 8 ohm and 16 ohm settings.
Check out my new Impulse Response packs here!

BTW, as strictly an IR loader, no FX, which one sounds better?
How about as an attenuator? No FX..
Thanks.

How is it against the rivera rock crusher?
When loading your own IR's .... do you still use the mic stuff in the Two Notes since they are baked into your IR's?
It automaticly bypassing the speaker of the amp ??? Or you can still run it and anttenuate it ????
dude, that opening jam is SICK... both in your playing and production. killer, dude!

Wasn't it. I thought here's the next Foo Fighters story on page 1.
Finally somebody who wants to explain things in a way that some of us who are not so tech savvy can understand. Thank you
Honestly like all the other videos didn’t help me much.
OMG dude, the opening track was worthy of this video alone. Dude you rock!
Yo that opening track!!!!!!!!!!
Hear hear!
I was going to say how much I loved the intro and realised that half of the comments are the same. Makes sense, what a GREAT intro man

Wow that's really cool man, I had no idea about that. I do have a question though. Does the noise gate work through a real Cab or only when recording?
Where has this Rhett been? Bring out the riff rock/punk!!! I'm jamming making dinner for the kids 😆
Rhett my guy... you don’t have to go so hard on those opening tracks my guy!!! You’re gonna melt someone’s face off 😂
Dude that opening track is the first song I'd hear of a band of which I'd be instantly hooked, amazing work!
Just wanna say, I bought one because of this video - and that alone has inspired me to finally do a full album whilst isolating before Christmas in order to safely see family!

Now for the next shootout. Captor X vs Suhr reactive load IR. Someone needs to do that video.
Stephen Naveed
Suhr reactive load IR WINS. Its more natural than torpedos.

Oh man please rock out more Rhett. That intro was savage AF.
This is one of the finest product reviews I’ve ever seen on RUclips. And for me personally, very timely as I am considering purchasing this piece of equipment.
Far out Rhett thanks man. As the others are also commenting super inspiring and emotional guitar play, wow!
I got my Captor X a couple of days ago. Sound great. Not grainy like many modelers or other digital gadgets.

You can bypass the cabinet and use Impulse Response loaded in your DAW with the OX by choosing Direct for both Mic in the OX App
Bro, your intros are getting better and better. Been following for about a year, and I’ve seriously seen some growth! Love it
Hi Rhett - great video.
That intro was awesome! Got some QOTSA vibes from that.
Thanks dude!
Great intro !!
Heading into gym.. pumped!!!!!
Rhett, as regards to the slots available for the IR's, I have just come to realize that there are more than you might have thought, as there are in fact 4 banks available for slots, as follows :
- 512 slots for 20ms IRs, in 4 banks of 128 slots
- 256 slots for 40ms IRs, in 4 banks of 64 slots
- 84 slots for 100ms IRs, in 4 banks of 21 slots
- 44 slots for 200ms IRs, in 4 banks of 11 slots
Which should be more than enough I think...
His Reverb comment is way off too. Either due to updates since, lack of experience with the unit, or to appease universal audio.. but if they want to send me a free ox box I’ll shit on the Torpedo too
I eat those cynical remarks as he recommends the Torpedo at the end
@@robf8023 he actually still uses it in his videos, so I guess it’s good enough
That little slide jam at 8:00 was breathtaking dude...the resolution at the end was beautiful. Sounds killer too.
Hey T...great vid as always
We have three studios and we swear by the Ox. We have one in each studio.the clarity and translating the
bloom of the tube amp. The playing experience truly connects the player with the amp just as if the guitar its plugged directly into the head.
We tried the waza and everybody agreed the sound was substandard and the resonance and presence switches changed thing very little.
The waza software is terrible and you must connect to you computer usb to do anything. There is no wireless option/
The Captor X has an excellent app to control everything from your phone.
The Captor x is better sounding than the Waza in our opinion . It’s closer to the Ox but not that close. The captor x requires
a lot of fiddling and tweaking to get an acceptable sound.
Thanks a million for your input here..... I'm going Ox
Thank you
Killer editing over the opener Rhett!
Thanks Keith!
Jesus, whatever tone you come up with sounds amazing.
So glad you did this ! I would go for the Captor X as well, as the IR loader is a must for me. And the price point is really good ! And I'm french, and Two Notes is a French brand, support you local brand kind of thing
Rhett that opening jam is ridiculously great
Another flow of the Two Notes Torpedo Captor X is that you have to purchase either 8 Ohms or 16 Ohms versions. Easy to have a selector for 8 or 16 Ohms, it may add a bit more hardware but it would optimize the production as well.
some of the best guitar sounds I've ever heard on youtube.
THAT INTRO IS BY FAR YOUR BEST RECORDING I'VE HEARD TO DATE
The TwoNotes is so good! Even if you don’t use the app! Unbelievable tones with PRS MT15
Best rockin’ jam ever on your channel! Thanks!
I have a Kemper as well... NOTHING feels like a Tube amp!
Been using a Torpedo reload in house for a number of years. totally love it .
I’ve been watching so many videos to really understand what it does…. Yours is so clear and dummy proof :) thanks a lot
Dude, your studio is getting stacked! You are correct with the audio quality of the OX over the Captor X. If I hadn’t just bought a Strymon Iridium, I would probably pick up the Captor X. It checks off a few boxes.
Yes for me , especially for the attenuation and whole package possibility , thanks for the vid .
This Jam was amazing! Can't wait for your album
Thanks for the review Rhett. Hope you get out on the road soon.
@@66numero How do you know which ohm model to get? I have a 25 watt amp to a 1x12 speaker. Do you just buy what your speaker resistance is?
Do you have to worry about attenuation if you're going out into a DAW?
Ordered one last week. Shipping on Friday! Like your channel
Not to diminish the opening track by any means, but that slide section at 8:00 was beautiful and the highlight for me.
I just ordered the captor x, partly based on this review. Thanks, appreciate your time and wisdom.
An update were you could actually level those attenuation levels to any db atenuattion between 0 and 20 20 to 40 would be awesome!! nice rig
Ok man that opening track is outstanding. Well done on all aspects of that.
"So cover me up and know you're enough to use me for good"...Great playing all around Rhett!
Holy cow. That intro …. Dude. You’re awesome.
WOW...great changes in that opening song...the slide was perfect.
Thanks, this video and the video on how to make the Helix sound better video helped me finalize my decision on the Captor X. Just ordered mine today.
Rhett this intro song is intense!!!! Love it man!!
Wow... I think that was the best opening jam of all the guitar tubers I follow. Superb Rhett!
Hi Rhett, it's great to a have full and honest reviews about products. It definitely help us to make choices.
Already ordered my Captor X ....waiting for delivery!!! Can't wait!!!
Loving the Torpedo IR’s. Wall of Sound is bomber!
Thanks so much for that review - and what a great intro jam!
It's exactly the kind of review I was looking for. I understand the Ox Box might be a bit better, but given how I want to use them (and I currently have the Captor 8 running into a IR/cab sim pedal), I will go for the Captor X
1. Opening jam - moistness!
2. “I think you should play what you like; play what inspires you” - perfect answer!
Great video, love your style man ❤️
🤟🐦🤟
Rhett, you were crushing it with the slide and the 335 around the 1:20 mark.
@@TajMikel yes it connects right to your wife you will never have to do anything to her again.
Thank you
Paused at 1:44 just to write this. Dude. We're gonna need that solo material. That was KILLER
opening jam was GREAT, Rhett
The non mentioned point is that you need two of them, if you have 8 and 16 Ohm amps. Then you are back in the price range of the Ox but without a good working attenuator.
I had the ox for about 8 months and loved before having to sell it due to size/cost. I’m wanting to grab one again but I may snag two captor x’s and run two amps in stereo.
regardless of what this video is about, 00:00-01:44 was awesome
There's a really cheap one available from thomann for about £50 whereas this torpedo is £450
I have the money to spend but I don't want to waste money on something that's overblown for what I need.
I own an OX and it's incredibly well built, inside and out, love your vids man 🤘
JUST the video I was looking for!! Thanks Rhett!! And, that opening jam was scorching hot!!!
OX user here. Love it. My only complaint is no T75s. I can get plenty of good metal tones with other speakers. It’s a good unit.
Yup everyone seems to be in agreement... Nasty opening track!
