could you run the slurry pump for a few minutes before draining, so that the media would be in suspension when you opened the valve?

I'm building one. I have my pump set up but built a stand for it. I didnt know you could just have it set on the bottom submerged in rested media. That how VHT builds them? I may do this then.

Just one question though..You were using this same glass bead to strip the powder coat..How long did it take. I only ask because i ordered another abrasive for paint removal.
