Hi guys, summer is here in the UK, so I thought I have a look at another Cambridgeshire village .... Kimbolton. Well, whats it all about, well lets have a look. Come with me for a quick visit, explore some of the shops, have a fly over the famous 'Kimbolton Public school which is in the villages castle. Also I visit 'Warren Lodge' which originally was a Folly in the castle grounds. A long walk, but interesting. Nice vlog. Looks like a really pretty and interesting place. Thinking of cycling up to there this week. You should do a vlog on Buckden next. I often cycle around there and I have to say it’s one of Cambridgeshire’s prettiest places with the church, the towers and the George Hotel.

Tony9r hi there, thanks for watching. I have a DJI Spark as well. Very easy to fly and very quick to get airborn. Like you very happy with it. Only problem is flight time is a bit short so need to plan my shots first. Cheers Andy

Greetings from the US, Andrew. Nice work on this video. I just came to the UK last year and visited Kimbolton for a day. As you may know, Kimbolton Castle was, prior to the school and centuries-long residence of the Dukes of Manchester, the home of the Wingfield family for several generations. Sir Richard Wingfield, K.G, who died in 1525, lived there during the time that Katherine of Aragon was kept under house arrest there when Henry VIII repudiated her to marry Anne Boleyn. Sir Richard Wingfield was the grandfather of Edward Maria Wingfield who was first president of our Jamestown Colony in Virginia. Sir Richard was also the brother of my 15x great grandmother Elizabeth Wingfield, wife of Francis Hall, in the service of her cousin Charles Brandon, 1st Duke of Suffolk. My family branched from the Wingfields and came to America as a result of the rise of Cromwell after the Civil War there. Loved the video!!
