Great video, as always! We stayed in the penthouse at Suites Havre on our first two visits to Mexico City and love the area east of Insurgentes. It is quieter than Roma, has unique coffee shops on almost every block and feels a little more local. In Jan 2022 we stayed near the Sumesa on Londres. This time, we fell in love with Clara y Ema breakfast bunwhiches on Berlin (not vegan, but best eggs in town). We also enjoyed craft beer at Hop and cocktails and snacks at Comedor Lucerna. What I love about Juarez is the easy access to Reforma and Roma, the convenient metro stations and the many interesting walking routes we have taken to get to Centro. We have stumbled on many cool places along the way - for example, the huge Mercado de Artesanías La Ciudadela (possibly the best prices in all of Mexico). Non vegans like me will also like the Museo del Chocolate - our biggest regret is that we did not bring more home!
I really love the amount expats that are coming to live to Mexico City!!! You should look for other neighborhoods that are beautiful and cheap. Condesa, Santa Fe, Roma, etc are the most known and most expensive. I really love “Del Carmen” neighborhood in Coyoacán, there are many options!!!
Yes! This is the video I was waiting for. Such a wonderful neighborhood. I've always believed that the old architecture in Juárez is much more beautiful and impressive than Roma Norte's. It's also home to a few cool museums like the wax museum and Ripley's Believe It Or Not, as well as my favorite apartment building in the city -- the Edificio Vizcaya. Great job, thanks for the awesome tour!
Planning to come over to Mexico City 🇲🇽 for Mexican Independence day. Does anyone know a vey nice B&B or a nice Guest house for 2 adults 🤔? If anyone ever needs to stay in a beautiful Guest Home in Coyoacan, Mexico 🇲🇽 Strongly recommend Maria Bonita! Beautiful and delicious food 😋
I will be visiting Mexico City with my wife in June. We will be making a quick stop of three days in the city prior to celebrating abuelitas birthday. Would be awesome to grab a coffee with you both.
Excellent video showcasing of that part of the city! I just got my residency visa last week and as soon as I can schedule an appointment with the immigration office I'll be there for a couple of weeks to get my card. I am definitely going to spend some time checking out Juarez! I have stayed in La Condesa and Roma Norte before but can definitely see myself living in that happening neighborhood later this summer 😎
I used to watch your videos when I was moving to Mexico. I stayed 7 months and will be back next year. Really miss your vlogs, I hope you will come back for some updates
Great video, and useful, as I’m making plans to visit CDMX later this year. And Sergio, I think you’ve been “hiding something” from us too! Looking good 😁😁
Hey serg & tana! I thoroughly enjoyed your video on Colonia Juarez in Mexico City. It's great to see you shedding light on an underrated neighborhood that often gets overshadowed by others like Roma and Condesa. Keep up the fantastic work in showcasing the lesser-known gems of Mexico City!
I just love to watch your videos! Vivo en Texas pero soy de acá. Cuando los veo quiero volar e invitarlos a desayunar. You guys look awesome 👌 Felicidades chicos!!
I enjoy all of your videos and wish you could make them more often. I do have a question that’s been bugging me: I am about to spend a few months living in Querétaro to consider it as my permanent home. I saw when you called Querétaro home and that this city was the best place to live in Mexico. Why did you leave and go to Mexico City? Gracias.
Apparently I was subbed to you guys as I went to subscribe and was already lol! Loved this video I am always in awe of CDMX and wish one day to spend a extended period of time there. You both are a lovely couple can’t wait to see your other videos ❤️
You're right! this might as well be one of the best places in Mexico City! in Mexico! in America! and even in the whole World! because it even looks as nice as even some of the best places in Europe! because of that very unique and very nice style there! which is also very nice and yet not as expensive as the Polanco Area! which is also in Mexico City! and has some of the most expensive stores in the world! and well, that might be very nice too! of course, specially if you have a lot of money, but I actually like very much also that "Colonia Juárez" because it's also very nice without being so expensive! and that goes for whatever kind of shopping that you're doing! be it things, food, even apartaments! or whatever!
Hola!! You guys okay?? Long time no see! I'll be in CDMX at the end of the month (July.) Hopefully you 2 are still wondering around!! Hope all is well and we hear from you soon!
Thanks for a great video. Which area of Colonia Juarez you recommend for staying which will not be very loud ? ( undersatand the bars play loud music at night)
That Cafe Nin used to be a Panaderia Rosetta. We sat in that patio in January and I could swear it was still the Panaderia Rosetta - but I might not have noticed the name change. I wonder why the change of name (?and ownership)?
Hello I have sort of an offbeat question. Trying to get to the bus station (Norte?) to get to SMA from CDMX. I see some hotels right near it but not sure if area is good for one evening and leave next morning to bus station. Would you know about that area? Or do you recommend a "cheap" but safe nice hotel maybe in Juarez that may be close enough with an early morning Uber ride to the station? Then I would return to same hotel about 5 days laterI think to fly out next afternoon from CDMX to US - been to CDMX a few times and really want to try and figure out an affordable way to get to see SMA. Or I could try another hotel on return and area for an evening/some morning and then to airport. Thanks!
Are you guys vegan? (It seems like you eat a lot of vegan food). My husband and I are most likely moving to Guanajuato state next year and I'm a bit anxious about my dietary restrictions. If you are looking for ideas, maybe talk about eating a plant-based diet in Mexico...? Like, what non-dairy milks can you get, the best place to buy specialty vegan products (cashew cheese?). Love your channel! It's helping me so much!
Hi guys! do you have any leads from expats living in cuernavaca? or a community/group of people who lives in cuernavaca? I just moved and am looking for some gardening or yoga or dancing lessons, so if you have any leads I'll appreciate it!! thank you

Hope you guys are ok , we need an update on CDMX coffee shops.
I visited CDMX for 2 weeks several years ago and stayed in Juarez. It was a great location.

I used to live on Suites Havre 50 years ago. May I ask you ?, have they keeping them well maintained ? I miss my beautiful Mexico City💔
Can you tell me how much is it cost per day or week to stay in Suites Havre now? Thank you!
Thank you for this great video! I hadn't heard of this neighborhood and now it's definitely on my list of places to visit in CDMX.
