Saludos
Thanks for your recommendations, I was born in Mexico City and moved to California when I was a little girl I’ve been back a couple times but never long enough to truly enjoy it and get to truly know it. We will be visiting next week do you have any recommendations as to where to stay? My nephew will be attending UNAM to take Spanish courses
All places in Mexico are beautiful and unique there is no such thing as competition amongst cities in Mexico. And yes all of Mexico is THE REAL MEXICO.
Have you two spent much time in Coyoacán? I was walking around this morning totally in love with how much quieter and slow-paced it is compared to Roma. Also there are churro spots EVERYWHERE down here 😂
So many wonderful places to visit! I am not as familiar with Roma as La Condesa but I did enjoy it when I went there. Mexico City in such a gem and so unique but these neighborhoods do remind me of Buenos Aires, Lisbon and New York. Some people might not think so but it has an old world style that I love. Great video guy and nice work!
It has been so crazy to see La Roma change from when I would go there growing up to now. Hopefully it always maintains it’s authentic Mexico City character. So many firsts there. People who really did so much for the area and Mexico City. People like Gabriela Camara, Monica Patino, Aldo Chaparro, the girls from DNA magazine, Danaé Salazar, Fabiola Zamora, Emanuel Piccault, Zemmoa. A neighborhood truly built by artists and for artists.
V-Ramen is AWESOME! I normally visit the one close to the UNAM central campus to the south of the city! Nice video guys, it showcases what can be expected when visiting la Roma! Congrats!
Everything about this video, the drone shots, audio, video quality, history/facts, architecture, good vibes. Its just awesome! One day y’all should go to desierto de los leon on a hike or get some bikes because it looks amazing (I’ve never gone but it looks fun and peaceful)
Love seeing you guys explore MX. I always get my coffee ready and watch your videos before headed out to my hustle and bustle. Don't know why it's so relaxing. Maybe because Serg is so hipster. Much love guys, from TX.
Saludos
Thank you! Your perspective and historical information about the neighborhood was interesting. I think the iron gates, etc. do serve a protective purpose, but they are pretty common throughout Spanish and colonial architecture in the Americas. In many wealthy neighborhoods they may offer only limited protection, if any, and are more of a symbol of wealth and status and, in fact, attract attention. Interesting how the stories evolve. BTW you’ve mentioned Serg’s heritage and that he went to university in MX and is fluent in Spanish, but I haven’t heard anything about Tana.’s Spanish. I noticed when she says Spanish words she pronounces them like an American. So I wonder if she does that because she’s speaking English and to be consistent or weather she has mastered Spanish yet. I’m enjoying your travels and unique perspective on Mexico. Thank you!
A question, from where do you guys get the historical facts, I'm a frequent visitor in the Condesa, Roma area and always look for the history behind those buildings, parks and spots, great video !!!!!
@@sergtana Yes, in Super Mario Maker 2 you can enjoy local multiplayer, and creating levels is tons of fun! I would play your levels, you can play levels created by people from the entire world.
Yes! We'll make a video on this eventually but for now, we can recommend Por Siempre, Los Loosers, and Plantasia. Those are our top picks. For matcha, we buy it Kokoro online, it's very good and reasonably priced for the quality
I'm loving the dog-friendliness in Roma. I'm moving to CDMX at the beginning of Aug and looking at Roma, Condessa, Polanco and I heard San Angel and Lomas de Chapultepec are nice areas as well.
@@QrlzM I've been here two months and actually chose a quieter location near Parque Hundido. With that being said I'm going up to San Miguel de Allende next month for a few months.

Right. Uber is definitely a good option because it's safe, affordable, and everywhere. Otherwise just be sure not to get into a more notorious neighborhood and you should be fine. There are millions of tourists in this city every year, enjoy!

Yes, zona Rosa is within the Juarez neighborhood and it's an amazing place! I know the nightlife there is legendary but I've never been, especially during covid. I would definitely live there.
