Actually, the cardboard counters with letters on them are meant to stand for “Just Quit Kounting”, which you use when you have too many games to represent with the numbered counters.
I've got an idea that may help your counting efficiency. Whenever you buy or are given a new game, you can avoid recounting every game by just adding one 1 Iron Clays counter to your counter collection in your pocket. And when you sell or give away a game, you can take one 1 counter out of your pocket and return it to that beautiful case; if you find yourself running out of 1 counters, you can swap a high value counter from your pocket with the equivalent number of 1 counters from the case and then remove one 1 counter as previously described. Perhaps this way you will have enough time to go to all those board game nights once more and be able to answer confidently when people ask you how many games you own. You'll only need to recount your games from scratch when a thief steals from your extensive collection but you don't know how many games were stolen.
Pro tip: arrange your board games in alphabetical order so that when you count them each time, you can count them in alphabetical order, which I've found increases the speed at which I count my games by at least 1.4%. One time I actually made it to a board game night before everyone left for the night! I call that a triumph!
You simply missed the subtlety of the letters in the cards: the A is the first letter on the alphabet, so it naturally stands for a 1, but it is a fancy card for people who just own 1 board game not to feel bad. The J’s are alternate decorate versions for the 10’s and the K’s must stand for the 11’s. I guess the Q’s are a misprint, though, since multiples of 17 are a bit harder to memorize. T’s would make much more sense.
"Oh just pull out your star trek tech level communication device from your pocket and count your games on your fancy cathode display using your portable 8 baud modem ." Typical rich guy answer who has lost touch with the peons that made him so! Good answer, Boardgame Oprah!
I really enjoy your reviews but I think you are off the mark on this one. For starters why wait for people to ask how many games you have? Much better to just let them know at the first opportunity and then keep them up to date whenever the count changes. A bonus pro-tip: a nice feature of these counters is that they are quite hefty so instead of having to count them every time you can simply weigh the stash and divide that by the weight of a single chip (9.8 grams in my set).
I chose not to get the counter cards and got more chips instead (So now I can keep track even if my collection reaches 100 times its current size or more). The main reason really though is I don't understand why they included 'J/Q/K' cards - What are they supposed to represent? Perhaps for subcategory or expansion counts? Anyway, it felt better not to get them at this time.
What a scam! Who do they think they are fooling? Everyone knows you just buy a handful of cheap, blank poker chips and a black Sharpie, then write your board game total on ONE chip and carry that with you. It only costs you like $20 bucks. I also use this method to remember important dates and email passwords.

Three ads in one video. Truly sir, you are an influencer!

I was really looking forward to the paper counters until you pointed out that it beats rock! So OP! Did Roxley even play test those counters?!

The K and J images are switched on the counting counters. That would give me a headache and agree with this review.
Glad someone else noticed, too.

Is it me or does the J and K looked switched at 3:31?
They are, whether it was on purpose or not the review highlighted that the J and K are incorrectly printed.
Hey maybe you could use them to count other things? Like how many pets you have?
Jeff, how did you swap the pictures on the Jack and King? That's some video editing magic!
How many games do you have?

I'm excited for RPS:Deluxe but I feel it may not reach the goal! But, if the number of backers quadruples every hour from now, it might just happen.
Hey man! Long time no see!

Lmao, you totally got me until I was almost 2/3 through the video

But you're missing out on the deluxe game-counting experience!
Why not just get poker chips that are easier to count. Five is RED!
The 500s are for LCG fans
Music is to high in the mix here. C'mon DT, that's a rookie error. Good content tho, obv.
