1). Clean out your pantry and refrigerator…
2). Print out out a calendar and put on refrigerator…2-3 days a week your allowed a vegetable. On a veg day, one portion of a veg. Log it.
3). (My input) avocado and tomato are considered fruit****not a veg
4). Go with your body, not against it. Eat what you feel like eating…
5). Limit your sweeteners. Cut them out entirely if you can.
6). Dairy: pay attention how you feel when you eat it.
7). Beverages: water, coffee, tea, sparkling water, mineral water w no sweeteners. Use a little ghee, cream or butter if you want.
8). Cook everything in animal fat.
9). Allow yourself a sauce if you want to dip. Dip on the side, do not drizzle it over meat.
    10). Continue your supplements

Unfortunately the cheap cuts of non grass fed meats are full with chemicals, hormones and other crap. Hot dogs are full with fillers.
By whole organic chicken, eat a lots of eggs. Both are better for you. You can loose weight on cheap worthless food, but the will make you sick otherwise.

This video really made me think and made me want to clean up my eating. I lost 70 pounds last year but hit a wall with the weight loss and I still have over 30 lbs. to lose. I went from ketovore to dirty keto and it’s just not serving me well. The problem with me is, say I buy a box of “keto bars”. I eat the whole darn box. Now that may be my entire calories for the day and last time I did that it was around 1000 calories so I won’t gain weight doing that but that’s not real food. I lack any sense of control with keto dessert type things.

Yes to Pork rindsssss!! But. be careful because some of them can be processed with maltodextrin- ie sugar. Also if you buy deli meat- try to buy cheese from the deli and have them slice it, because pre-sliced deli cheese is processed with maltodextrin so that the slices don’t stick together in the package. 👌

You’re right, it is definitely a gray area. A lot of people don’t tolerate it well, plus people sometimes tend to over indulge in it or not lose weight and even gain weight. I personally think dairy (except maybe butter and cheese) is inflammatory, but I did actually learn today that some cheeses are low in lactose (although still high in casein).

@@VeldaE12 I bake them at 400 and it normally takes anywhere between 15 and 25 minutes really depends on how you prefer them and how large your jalapeños are. I prefer mine to be really soft so I always wanna make sure that I can cut through them with a fork. Occasionally I will add some cheddar cheese in with the softened cream cheese and the salt to make a creamier mixture.

I have noticed from experience in the past that trying to make all the different keto dishes and keto desserts becomes troublesome because 1. Sometimes you have to really go out of your way to locate certain ingredients, and 2. When you get frustrated because of #1 then it just makes it harder to keep doing it, but, I think just staying carnivore is much more simplistic.

Hi. If you want to make it easier , try one ingredient food: just fish, just meat, just chicken. Put salt and pepper and any spices and olive oil if needed and that's how easy it is. If you will try different recipes , they seem frastrating at first . Hope this helps

Happy New Year! So glad I found your channel and Dr. Barry as well. I’ve been doing keto for over a year and lost 10lbs. I learn something new everyday. I’m 4’10 and 88 lbs. I’m skinny fat as I’m going through menopause. I have muscular tone but I’m not lean. Not sure if loosing weight will get me to the results I’m looking to see. I’m all about eating health and doing what’s best for my body. I have no eating disorder or body image issues. But because I’m so small no one takes me seriously when I ask for info. Seeing your body’s transformation through viewing your past videos has me thinking that I want to try a Ketovoire Lifestyle. You have an amazing shape. I know you did a lot to get there. I don’t have Hashimoto’s. I don’t take any medication just electrolytes, D3&K2 and ACV. Just wondering if you would have any advice for me? We also have the same dogs I just noticed.

Do you do any sort of weight or resistance training? As you know, menopause can do so much to our hormones and at this age, muscle and bone density atrophies...this is the perfect time to increase your calorie intake with ketovore, at your weight and size and as you said a skinny fat, I dont think you will lose weight anymore with ketovore, I think you maybe were not eating enough calories because it is hard sometimes to get enough as our hunger on keto diminishes greatly. I dont know what your normal nutrition looks like or activity levels or what your true muscle tone looks like but I def think Ketovore will help you add more calories. I used to do Keto, then carnivore, saw results with both, but hormonally I feel the Most stable with the balance of doing both. Have you checked your hormone levels for any deficiencies? I am 5'0" myself so I understand what its like being so short and although 88 pounds I feel is a bit underweight , people hear 88 pounds and think things, but we have to remember your height. I think extra calories during ketovore, some extra good fats, and protein calories with some resistance training will help immensely and you can probably add some healthy weight too if that's what you are wanting. I stopped doing so much cardio, in fact almost cut it out conpletely, I walk incline with a weighted vest and do glute training and other weights, it has allowed me to fill out with muscle and recomp my body with fat in all the right places. I domt worry about my weight anymore and eat intuitively with ketovore. I found that having Some carbs rather than very very low is when I feel best.

Thank you for your comments. I’m hoping the change to ketovore will make the difference.I usually get in 10,000 steps and everyday I do push-ups and 5 lbs arm weights. I was a pairs figure skater growing up. My plan for the new year is to add more exercises with weights. I have no problem getting my calories in. Started logging meals on MFPal since 2015. I do not eat any processed foods. I do my own cooking. Started Keto last year.

@@galpal2 wow, sounds amazing, the figure skating explains it, you are just naturally a lean and toned machine yet petite =) I would suggest if you want to put on a little more muscle and weight to research strength training for women...and do heavy weights with low reps. The 5 pounds won't do very much for creating any meaninful changes. I promise you won't get big and bulky like a man. I think you'll also like the ketovore, for me, it was just a healthier balance between the two. Sounds like you've always been on a great path and with your background won't have any problems figuring out what helps. Good luck =)

you may also want to look into bioidentical hormones ( the safe kind ) they can sometimes help with everything, and weights are key. Just keep going :) how cool that you were a figure skater!! I loved watching that when I was little with my grandmother. very good memories

Hi Neisha, I am loving your videos with @KenDBerryMD . I would love to hear your and Ken's thoughts on Keto/Carnivore with Hypothalamic Amenorrhea and anovulatory cycles post HA recovery. The advice I am hearing is that we need at least some carbohydrates to ovulate (clearly that is not true for everyone) but it's tricky trying to navigate low carb (to reduce inflammation/auto immune issues) and not slip back into hypothalamic amenorrhea. I have been trying to catch you on a live chat to ask but challenging with the time difference. Thanks! :)
