To anyone visiting or moving to New York City, please note that in the five boroughs of Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, The Bronx, and Staten Island, right turns on red lights are illegal unless otherwise posted. It's a law that is specific to NYC.

Do no drive next to a big truck. Pass them or stay behind then or ahead the truck. When you've passed any vehicle pull into the right lane and increase or maintain speed. Most trucks in the USA are governed at 68 or 70 mph. If one gets in front of you, then first be patient. Once the truck moves back to the right lane, pass it quickly.
Actually, _most_ trucks in the US are governed at 65 mph. Some allow more, but all of the larger companies (which account for a very large percentage of the trucks on the roads) are set to 65. Downhill is up to the driver of course, due to gravity. :)

To be fair it was not the red car's place to yield (not to mention the far right lane next to the red car didn't stop, so he couldn't have gone anyway despite the red car yielding), he had a solid green light where as the cammer turning left had to yield, and the other guy stopping held up traffic. However yes it was also shitty for the camera dude to not offer assistance.

@@FelixUmbra well you have no idea if he had been blocking him out, or if the Subaru just wildly cut him off. Either are equally possible. However, knowing that they are on 75 in Dallas, and this guy is driving in the right hand lane; my guess is he blocked him out. Quite common in the area and people tend to ramp hop on 75 as well. 4 lanes total and he’s in the right lane. Like I said, didn’t defend the Subaru, and you didn’t answer either. Why couldn’t he have just tapped his brakes instead of refusing to yield? “Right of way” is a stupid/entitled answer for this one so choose carefully.
Some of these collisions seem SO avoidable yet they just keep, driving straight into the other vehicles. My dad always taught me to watch out for the other drivers, you know what your are doing but they may not. And I've been driving since I was 12, grew up on a farm.
A seemingly endless number of people fail to understand that the far left lane on highways/freeways, and most major roads is for passing. Once you've passed and their is space to move over, do it. It's not the speeding lane, and even if you are speeding and thusly passing others, still try to get over, you never know what is waiting for you to get complacent.
In the 60s, 70s and 80s, I d not recall seeing cars losing control and sliding all over the interstates. It seems that with the shorter wheelbases on modern vehicles, and with the speeds on the interstates, the cars steer too quickly, almost like a go-cart, and then the drivers lose control. Am I the only one who recognizes this?
If you realise your brakes don’t work, would you not use your common sense to blast your horn, or try the handbrake? If you’re in manual, Hell, shifting down a gear is a braking method? Just don’t think someone could travel at that speed without realising their brakes don’t work?
Clip#16, 8:15, fuck no. The other car changed lane right in front of the cammer yet the cammer sped up and hit it on purpose. "Just the cuz you have the right of way doesn't give you the right to cause on accident".
And why do these people honk afterwards? Like, you already hit them like damn, honking won't make it magically stop/not happen or fix/help any other way.
3:05, don't you just love it when the idiots causing these accidents get out and straight away go to check their damage ? Not at all concerned for injuries to the other vehicle occupants, or damage to the other vehicle. I think there's a common name, very popular in the US, for people like this.
At 0:59, hopefully the Cammer gave a copy to the Highway Patrol and Trucker's involved in this accident. Otherwise, they would blame the Trucker which is so very common, although these men and women provide us with every single commodity we use in our daily lives.

There could be any number of reasons for that happening. Of course it looks like she's travelling to fast when everyone is stopping for the light. It would be incredibly difficult for anyone to stop if they suddenly lose their brakes, and you generally don't know until you go to use the brakes. When she told them her brakes weren't working it would be very easy for the police to verify so if she wasn't charged it's highly likely she was telling the truth.

5:05 NO, u were NOT negotiating the intersection at the moment of the collision, u were actually completely STOPPED, and stopping in an intersection is illegel (before someone accuses me of siding with the other vehicle, yes...i am aware they ran a red light).... would be a tough case if it went to court both sides would have an argument. the cammer car was stopped in the intersenction...while the other one failed to stop for the signal ...id say 50/50
I hear what you're saying, but I'm sure he didn't intend to stop and that is was a reaction (albeit a bad one) to seeing other driver on a collision course with him. 🤷🏼♀️
oh yea....that was the cammer's reaction, and one the cammer needs to correct, as this time that particular reaction likely contributed to the collision... too bad for the driver of the light runner. But someone needs to let the cammer know, because it seems like they feel they did NOTHING wrong

0:35 HTF do you ram into a semi lie that?!! Was she staring into a phone the whole time?
Who knows. She actually collided with 2 semi's: 1 semi partially merged into her lane & hit her, then she actually spun/ricocheted into the 2nd semi & then ended up in the trees. A very rare kinda, bad accident indeed; glad she was ultimately ok ❤❤👍👍. She'll have quite a story to tell later, colliding with 2 semi's & living to tell the tale 😯😯😳😳😑😑😢😢😭😭.
@@dwjoseph59 Semi was maybe 3 inches in her lane (back wheels look to be skimming the line), however she did suddenly go from the far right of the lane to the far left. She was likely on the phone as the car went straight yet the road turned a little. if you see people's brake lights on, START BRAKING

8:22 "i slammed the brakes, im in a minivan, nothing i could do."
Watch closely. He speeds up and turns left into the vehicle to counter the hit. After impact, the minivan slams his brakes and then hits his horn. Could have been avoided, but he chose to cut he guy off and run into him, hence the late braking and horn honking after impact.
Careful out there guys.
@@potcommitted5355 If you were the driver, it was obvious you didnt want to let that guy merge over. You sped up to block him, hit the horn to act like he "cut you off really badly" and then you hit the brakes after all of that. Does anyone else get a kick out of listening to everyone's musical tastes in these videos? Props to the driver in the accident clip blasting Bee Gees, and glad everyone was ok.

To anyone visiting or moving to New York City, please note that in the five boroughs of Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, The Bronx, and Staten Island, right turns on red lights are illegal unless otherwise posted. It's a law that is specific to NYC.
Since they are perfectly legal in most other places, they should put signs up saying that it's illegal unless otherwise posted
Always check the damage to your car before moving onto see if any people were injured.
As a trucker I see this kind of shit on a regular basis in person lol

I see it nearly everyday in California. There are lots of Illegals here. And I'm female. Not to mention that, most idiots that been close to hitting me are male. Not surprised.

It's 2021. Most vehicles and even older ones dating back now come standard with a backup camera, which a lot of drivers apparently still fail to use.
Still, who doesn't look behind them before backing up? Honestly? Morons.

17:35 - That person literally got into an accident because they yielded at the yellow to let you go because you were in the middle of an intersection . . . and you didn't stop to give them the cam footage? Is it because you were afraid they'd blame it on you, or are you really that much of a jerk?
To be fair it was not the red car's place to yield (not to mention the far right lane next to the red car didn't stop, so he couldn't have gone anyway despite the red car yielding), he had a solid green light where as the cammer turning left had to yield, and the other guy stopping held up traffic. However yes it was also shitty for the camera dude to not offer assistance.

I thought of that myself. Something similar happened to me when I was 16 and even "I" had the presence of mind to gas it and not stop and wait to be hit.
@8:15 Subaru got what he deserved. Agreed, there was nothing you could do. 😉
I’m not defending the Subaru. But why couldn’t the truck brake and slow down? Pretty sure he easily could have without issue but chose to let his ego get involved.
@@robv5834 What ego? guys just driving along and a shitbox hatchback cuts in to take the exit in the most accident prone way possible.

Are ya dumb? No ego to get involved when there is .6 seconds to react to someone wanting to take the exit 2 lanes over.

Am I the only one who recognizes this?
cars are also quicker and lighter

If you realise your brakes don’t work, would you not use your common sense to blast your horn, or try the handbrake? If you’re in manual, Hell, shifting down a gear is a braking method? Just don’t think someone could travel at that speed without realising their brakes don’t work?
#27 at around 15:51 even doubled down her efforts to make it look like the cammer's fault *smh*

Clip#16, 8:15, fuck no. The other car changed lane right in front of the cammer yet the cammer sped up and hit it on purpose. "Just the cuz you have the right of way doesn't give you the right to cause on accident".
