If the clip were used in court, the officers would be facing charges of excessive force. The driver is giving up, has hands in the air and is telling them they are surrendering when the officers tackle the driver. Just before the video cuts, you can see one officer start to throw a punch. Wholly unnecessary and after the Black Lives Matter protests is a good way to see protests at the court house. Then guns in the face after being handcuffed. If the person said they ran because they had reason to fear for their life, the video would back them up. Running on adrenaline doesn’t excuse this.

Likewise, and I got to call one in a few years ago that was a confirmed drunk (and dangerous) driver. For almost 20 miles he scared the hell out of me. What was incredible was how many clueless drivers there were that just let him - straddling across two lanes - get right up beside them before they reacted. I mean, on a relatively busy turnpike, nobody was watching their rear view mirrors for nearly 20 miles while this driver bounced off jersey barriers and guardrails behind them.

I like how he's upset that the guy only got tickets like it was a "slap on the wrist". Do you know how expensive those kinds of tickets are? He also has to pay for repairs and his premiums will go up. I bet he wants this guy to lose his license because he's a typical Benz driver who took it as a personal affront. If you don't want to pay expensive car bills, don't buy an expensive car, dumbass. That goes for the Malibu driver too.

    • @peanutbutterygoodness8455
      @peanutbutterygoodness8455 3 года назад +5

@@creative-name5279 New York State allows you up to 11 points on your license before it should be suspended. The driver who hit the cammer seemingly deserves 20-22 points. So it's not crazy to want the license revoked. He also apparently stole the car, which is a criminal offence.
      Breakdown is as follows:
Speeding (6 points (21-30 MPH over the limit) or 8 points(31-40 MPH over the limit)): as he is apparently going 45-50 (Cammer's estimate, so take with a grain of salt) in a 15mph school zone.
Reckless driving (5): Drove in a manner that unreasonably endangered others.
Failed to obey a traffic signal (3): Ran a red light.
Failed to yield the right-of-way (3): A driver approaching an intersection must yield the right-of-way to traffic already lawfully using the intersection.
Left the scene of an accident that includes property damage (3): pretty self explanatory, he left the scene.

When you see the reaction times of some drivers, you are reminded of a shifting sand dune. Above all, the mobile phone seems to be more important in many cases than one's own physical integrity. Most of them also are not aware that they are figuratively driving a kind of 'murder weapon' through the area. The vast majority of U.S. drivers need way more qualified training before they are let loose on the environment.

Translation: Cars never break, travelling faster than 10 mph is illegal when it rains and everyone travelling faster than that should be charged and everyone is guilty until proven innocent.
This very much looks like a situation where the person was travelling around the speed of the road at the time and when they tried to slow down the pedal went straight to the floor. There could be any number of reasons for that happening. Of course it looks like she's travelling to fast when everyone is stopping for the light. It would be incredibly difficult for anyone to stop if they suddenly lose their brakes, and you generally don't know until you go to use the brakes. When she told them her brakes weren't working it would be very easy for the police to verify so if she wasn't charged it's highly likely she was telling the truth.

Do no drive next to a big truck. Pass them or stay behind then or ahead the truck. When you've passed any vehicle pull into the right lane and increase or maintain speed.
Most trucks in the USA are governed at 68 or 70 mph.
If one gets in front of you, then first be patient. Once the truck moves back to the right lane, pass it quickly.

    • @Broadpaw_Fox

Actually, _most_ trucks in the US are governed at 65 mph. Some allow more, but all of the larger companies (which account for a very large percentage of the trucks on the roads) are set to 65. Downhill is up to the driver of course, due to gravity. :)

Quite common in the area and people tend to ramp hop on 75 as well. 4 lanes total and he’s in the right lane. Like I said, didn’t defend the Subaru, and you didn’t answer either. Why couldn’t he have just tapped his brakes instead of refusing to yield? “Right of way” is a stupid/entitled answer for this one so choose carefully.

Once you've passed and their is space to move over, do it. It's not the speeding lane, and even if you are speeding and thusly passing others, still try to get over, you never know what is waiting for you to get complacent.
