  • Installing a 12V camping power system has never been easier with REDARC's Integrated Power System. Arriving pre-assembled on a powder-coated panel, it's easy to put into your 4WD, camper, caravan or trailer.
At the heart of this system is the REDARC Manager30, which Shaun says is essentially three chargers in one - at home you can plug in and charge from 240V power, on the road it charges the batteries using vehicle alternator power and acts as a solar regulator to bring power from solar blankets and panels. Shaun Whale (@4WD247) has tried and tested the Manager30, running it from the back of his 4WD for years.
The Integrated Power System also includes the RS3 2000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter, great for running things like power tools or induction cookers from the back of your 4WD. For the first two seconds this inverter will double its wattage, so you can confidently run power-hungry appliances (yep, that coffee machine too). The automatic transfer switch means you can easily change between battery power and mains.
The entire canopy power setup is controlled from the RedVision Display or the mobile app. With plenty of cable included the display can be mounted anywhere for visibility of state of charge, power draw and overall health of the system.
This canopy power setup from REDARC is 34% more compact than comparable models on the market, so it fits in a tight space like the back of your 4WD. It's specifically made for canopies where space is at a premium.
At the fuse box you connect all the 12V accessories, a fridge, air compressor, camp lights - whatever you need. The whole canopy power setup panel is assembled by REDARC in South Australia, saving you a lot of time and effort installing the system in the back of your 4WD. There are only a few connections you need to make, clearly outlined on a template that comes with REDARC's Integrated Power System. Even if you do get someone else to install it, the system will save you a stack of money as it's so simple to connect.
There are two connections to chassis ground, one from the inverter and one from the negative bus bar. You need a positive connection from the Manager30 to the start battery, where it's recommended that you use a 50A midi-fuse. If the vehicle has a smart alternator you will need an ignition wire to the Manager30. For the connection to the auxiliary battery, REDARC's inverter wiring kit has the correct fuse for the load that the system can draw, and you can follow the instructions for positive and negative connections.
Choosing one of the best 12V canopy power setups, the new REDARC Integrated Power System, will give you confidence out in the bush that you've got power to get there and back.

Without using the Rouge or larger TVMS but still using the Redvision display. I assume you cannot control individual lights, 12v, etc with the display. Is that correct?

    • @REDARCElectronics

Correct, The TVMS1240 or TVMS1280 distribution box is required for control of your lights and accessories.
