My neighbor have a GS350 V6 and it sounds good, I cant imagine how good this V8 sounds in real life, thanks for the video

The 5.0 NA V8 on this Lexus GS F will do 8 l/100 km, in real life - an M5 won't get that mpg even if you drop it from an airplane while idling. it's the living proof that downsizing was only made to cut the costs of the car manufacturers - cost reductions that were not passed on to the final customer.
This car does not lack in performance. In fact it's just the opposite. It's one of the best performance sedans u can buy under 85k or any amount of $. Power and performance are not the same thing. Power is just one of 5 or 6 elements of performance. Here are a few more which is why this car excels: braking, handling, driving Dynamics and precision. Most importantly, controllability when combining all these elements while executing proper driving in your environment.

About the car: I have always loves the subtle look of a Lexus, and what they lack in performance (there's always a need for more power, jada jada jada) they really make up with the feeling, and I really think that's the direction they have always been at. The sound, and the secondary intake opening - marvelous.

Out there in the market for sure there are cars with much powerful motors with a horse power well above 700 however this thing is like a roaring tiger god damn it, it's naturally aspirated v8 and the sound is one of its like kind. In terms of both exterior and interior design the only thing I can say is that it's not like anything else in the market, definitely much more attention catching than its rivals, I mean just consider nothing but only the elegance and also sporty look of its steering and the shifting way of its gearbox, just amazing. The best overall definition of Lexus would be the car which gives you a must feel experience. Thanks for video!

These longer POVs where you talk about impressions are the best. Seeing the dashboard and the road ahead enhances the driving experience a lot more than focusing on the reviewer's face. And, great video as always with a spectacular car. :)

Rundum ein absolut geschmeidiger Wagen. Ein Lexus mit all seinem Luxus, ein phantastischer Innenraum für 4/5 Personen, ein ausgefallenes Design und den Klang eines Musclecars. Und das alles so zuverlässig wie ein Toyota.

Lexus have very few diesels in their line up, some discontinued (IS 220d ), others just in specific markets (LX 450d). Most petrols have been naturally aspirated (except newer t ranges), so I would surmise that Lexus does indeed have some affinity for naturally aspirated engines.

Does the GS-F have low power vs its competition? Yes, but as many know you can't up the speed limit on public roads and 467hp is more than enough to get in trouble with cops. Also the sound is spectacular. I just wished it wasn't so expensive.
No forced induction that's why. This car will outlast any Audi RS, BMW M, or Mercedes AMG because it's a Lexus and they don't push their engine to the limit to leave breathing room.
Had. Isf bought it when there wasn't any single one in my state. Sold it after 4years because at that time I had 2 little kids and it was kind of small for two kids and car seats. From 2008 to 2012 I had 0 issues and almost with 40k on the odometer. Still miss it .. Bought a ls460 but now thinking of picking this up

I agree; Lexus is a very safe buy. The downside being that due to that engineering perspective, Lexus cars generally do not have cutting edge tech or features many European brands possess. Many buyers probably want that in a luxury car, but not everyone is happy about BMW & Mercedes price-gouging service bills.
Also their hp & tq figures are usually lower than its competitors, probably due to more conservative tuning for reliability (but nothing a ECU remap can't fix).
