No! No! No! It was God's Plan to put His First Born back Home! Israel has been persecuted for soo long. What if the Israelites never left? Where would the Palestinians be?
8:29 "We prefer to continue with the existing situation and move forward slowly until the entire land of Israel belongs to the people of Israel." I think this about sums it all up about Israel's position.
If the Zionists cannot prove to the world that they have historical right to the land of Israel. What will they do when they try to take it be force? They will watch the world turn against them. It is the innocent Israelis and Palestinians that are caught in the middle of their conflict of ideology. Zionists and Jihadis are both wrong. They kill and recreate each other time after time.
Yeah? And why after the six day war when Israel had all Gaza and West Bank (after Israel took it back from Egypt and Jordan) they gave it back to Palestine and helped Palestine to start build a state? Israel always agreed with two state solution. Palestine did not. Being biass won’t solve the conflict. Al jazzera is biass I understand is from Saudi Arabia… but … Like I said. Not being objective will only lead to more conflict. the truth is that if the Palestinians had the military of Israel, Israel would not have existed today. And from what I see Palestine exists. Even if they refused all the two states deals and started like 5 wars against Israel.
WATER. The West Bank is the recharge area for the main aquifer in the region. If you want to develop the land you need water and controlling the recharge area is critical. Same with the Golan Heights - surface water runoff. The incusion into southern Lebanon was about the Litani River, another water resource. It was just too difficult to keep. You can Google all this and find numerous quotes from top Israeli officials and military leaders making these points.
Israel produces all its drinking water via desalination plants in the Mediterranean and they treat 85% of their sewage water for agriculture. They are even pumping desalinated fresh water to the Sea of Galilee. You can look it up here in RUclips.
@@grecsoto not all their water is via desalination. There is runoff from the Golan Heights, the Sea of Galilee, and other associated surface water resources. In the West Bank the settlers mainly use groundwater. I worked in the area in the mid-1990s looking at groundwater resources of the West Bank.
West Bank is not occupied. It is part of Judea and Samaria. It was always Jews land. There is nothing such as Palestinian Race. They are Arabs Faking their Identity as Palestinian Race to claim Jews land Judea and Samaria. All this Conflict is due to one Fake name Philistia/Palestine. Migrant Arabs in Judea took advantage of this lie and are Faking their Identity as Palestinian Race .
I’m not sure that Arabs countries would like to declare an independent Palestinian state. If I remember well before 1967, the west bank was under the control of Jordan and Gaza under control of Egypt. Instead, to set up this country, Jordan and Egypt decided to annexation this territory... 😆
You are 100% correct. Abdullah of Transjordan, the land God gave to the Hebrew people, simply annexed the West Bank without a shot being fired. The Palestinians had no objection and never made any kind of a claim to the West Bank. Abdullah never made any overtures to the Palestinians to see if negotiations could provide the Palestinians a homeland in the West Bank. As far as Abdullah was concerned, the West Bank was his - not the Palestinians and certainly not the true and rightful owners, the Jews. This stability over the West Bank remained in tact until June of 1967. During the same period of time, the same stability existed in the Gaza strip between the Palestinian people and Mohamed Naguib of Egypt. Israel did not become the true and rightful owners the Gaza strip until June of 1967. In fact, THE PALESTINIANS SPECIFICALLY DECLARED IN WRITING FOR THE ENTIRE WORD TO SEE AND UNDERSTAND THAT THEY DO NOT HOLD ANY SOVEREIGNTY OVER THE WEST BANK NOR THE GAZA STRIP. THEY REFUSED TO ACCEPT THIS LAND 5 TIMES WHEN THE POWERS THAT BE TRIED TO SHOVE IT DOWN THEIR THROATS AND WERE RESOLUTE AND ADAMANT THAT THEY HAD NO INTEREST NOR ANY HISTORICAL TIED TO THE WEST BANK AND THE GAZA STRIP AND AVOIDED THIS LAND LIKE THE PLAGUE. After June of 1967, the West Bank and Gaza Strip, as if my magic, suddenly became the Palestinians Old Kentucky Home where they lived worked the land for centuries and sat on their front porches reminiscing about the good all days when all the Palestinian cousins used to gather around the fig trees and have picnics on checkered colored blanked and their children would play innocent games of burning the flags of other countries and dreaming about how wonderful it was going to be when they grew up and were strong enough to kill innocent people in the most violent way possible and have Allah's good graces shine down upon them. What a peaceful and serene time that must have been.

@@ohhhyeahhh3950 Wasn't disputed either. And the Arabs living in Palestine, also received citizenship when Palestine became Israel. But you like all Arabs have selective memory. Any holy city that has been under Israeli control has always been kept open to all the people of the world and yet when Abdullah took the old city of Jerusalem by force, the Jews were shut out. Now let's see if you're willing to answer (admit) to this. Just when and specifically how did the West Bank fall into the hands of Israel? And one more point as food for thought - "Palestinian Liberation Organization: The Original Palestine Charter (1964): This Covenant was written by the first PLO Chairman, Ahmed Shukeiry. This version reflects the Pan-Arab nationalism which can be clearly seen in the emphasis on the view of Palestine as part of an Arab collective homeland. The pan-Arab objective in the Arab-Israeli conflict is rather pervasive - the destruction of Israel. However, noticeably missing is the call for a Palestinian state and the subordinate position of the Palestinians in what is expressed as a battle for their rights and homeland. Article 24. This Organization does not exercise any regional sovereignty over the West Bank in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on the Gaza Strip or the Himmah Area. Its activities will be on the national popular level in the liberational, organizational, political and financial fields. Jordan annexed the West Bank in 1949. In 1967, Jordan's Arab Legion attacked Israel and were defeated by the Israeli's and in the process, because of Husseins poor decision, they lost the West Bank and the City of Jerusalem. Israel is the only country in the history of the world that can be attacked by other countries, when the war, and then be accused of illegal occupation. Astounding logic!!

Araunah went out, bowed down before the king with his face on the ground, 21 and asked[a] him, “Why has your majesty the king come to his servant?” David replied, “To purchase your threshing floor and to build an altar to the Lord, so the pestilence can be averted from the people.” 22 Araunah responded to David, “May your majesty the king take it and offer whatever pleases him. Here are oxen for a burnt offering, along with the threshing sledges and yokes from the oxen for wood! 23 Your majesty, Araunah gives all of this[b] to the king.” Araunah also told the king, “May the Lord your God be pleased with you!” 24 “No!” the king replied to Araunah. “I will buy them from you at full[c] price. I won’t offer to the Lord my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing.” So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for 50 silver shekels,[d] 25 built[e] an altar to the Lord there, and presented burnt offerings and peace offerings. Israel has used the settlements to force the Palestinians to set down to the required talks. Just like when Israel pulled everyone from Sinai for peace with Egypt and than from Gaza trying to kick start peace setters are not permeant if the other side will agree to peace. Many of us in the US on the right and left do not support Israel. But both our parties, Democrats and Republicans, are in Israel's pocket. They send our young men to die for Israel every year.
The UK made a poor decision when it came to the creation of an Jewish state. Not because Jews shouldn't have a state, but because of its proximity in the world and the displacement of Muslim Palestinians. In 2014, British parliament voted heavily in the recognition of a Palestinian state showing that the political system recognises the mistake of not having a 2 state solution. The UK has changed a lot since the days of its empire which doesn't mean we should disregard it's previous crimes, but we should also appreciate the steps western countries (bar the US at the moment) are making in trying to resolve the issue. I think that the final solution will likely leave both sides unsatisfactory no matter how favourable to one side it ends up. It's going to take great strength and restraint from both sides to deal with their loss. Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and that'll likely happen. We should hope that in the end the borders are reasonably fair and then Palestine can begin to function as a majority recognised state so that it can achieve stability and economically prosper.

There is a lie on minute 1:44. Israel did not occupied the territory in 1945 because at that time the territory was a british colony with palestinians and jewish living on it, and before that was the ottoman's, so that land has never been a palestinian state yet (hope there is one in the future with 67 borders). That's why United nations made a partition and Palestinians with the Arab countries did not accept it, so they start the war of 48 and lost it. After that Israel took the territory that was given by the UN partition and a litle more tha won in the war.
Actually after the ottoman empire collapsed it was dissolved into many smaller states including one called Palestine (now Israel, Gaza strip, west bank and a bit of Jordan), you are right when you say "Israel did not occupied the territory in 1945 because at that time the territory was a British colony with Palestinians and jewish living on it" however the place was called Palestine/British Palestine (mandated by the league of nations). also the UN partition was only made as they were given responsibility by the British and the growing nationalism on both the Israeli side and Palestinian side, after the UN gave its proposal and most members agreed to it, however as the arab countries had no say they thought this was just more colonisation voted on by colonisers (kinda like the Berlin conference) so invaded thinking they were gonna win, then lost.

Harel Brigade expelled all its inhabitants -- peasants who had nothing to do with the war, who had been living there for at least 500 years -- and then occupied the land on July 14. My Grandpa and many other refugees tried to come back to their village but were immediately shot, prevented from returning to their homes to this day. What is the "entire land of Israel"? The land over which King Solomon ruled? The Promised Land (however that is defined)? An even larger region?
Winner, winner, chicken dinner. National Geographic had an article on this many years ago; wish I remembered the timeframe.
Israel produces all its drinking water via desalination plants in the Mediterranean and they treat 85% of their sewage water for agriculture. They are even pumping desalinated fresh water to the Sea of Galilee. You can look it up here in RUclips.

20 When Araunah looked down, he saw the king and his staff approaching him. Araunah went out, bowed down before the king with his face on the ground, 21 and asked[a] him, “Why has your majesty the king come to his servant?”
David replied, “To purchase your threshing floor and to build an altar to the Lord, so the pestilence can be averted from the people.”

Here are oxen for a burnt offering, along with the threshing sledges and yokes from the oxen for wood! 23 Your majesty, Araunah gives all of this[b] to the king.” Araunah also told the king, “May the Lord your God be pleased with you!”
24 “No!” the king replied to Araunah.

Two of the places which have seen unending tensions have been the middle east and eastern europe (can add the caucasus there), previously home to three big multiethnic empires, Austro-Hungarian, Russian and Ottoman.
In a very f*cked up way it's true. Sucks for those nations. But back than it certainly didn't matter that your "historical land" is under jurisdiction of another nation when you're both part of one country. It's crazy that more fairness in a way leads to more blood.
💯
I have a hypothesis that the British wanted to be one of those multiethnic empires that can maintain peace through force. That way, they could’ve accomplished their goal of a two-state solution with Israel and Palestine. However, WW2 weakened the UK and all empires in Western Europe, really, and shut down that goal
