Being an ILM fan as a little boy, Ken’s was one of the earliest VFX creator faces, that burned into my mind. He looks amazing. Having looked so young for so long, it is still a little surreal to see this version of him. The man is so down to earth and kind, that he even gave an acquaintance of mine a day tour at ILM in the mid 1990s, after a single letter of admiration.
No union or strike for these fella's and gals., no chance for royalties from their work at all. Wonderful that these projects you are conducting are highlighting their contributions and giving them a little something extra after all the decades. I wonder who holds the keys to Wallace’s Gremlins work?@@RegalRobot
@@RegalRobot I worked for Ken on the ill-fated George Miller Justice League years back and it was great to work for one of my childhood heroes and he shared some juicy tidbits I'd always wondered about!
Ken Ralston is such a gem and wonderful man. Got to speak to him at a convention in New York as well as on the phone when I would call ILM.
"Gem" is a great word. And he's a fun chat for sure! We're grateful he's joined us for these talks!
