exceptional demo about the feedback of this glider. If you just want to come to a dead stop is it always as easy as yanking straight down? you said the responsiveness wasnt great?

IMHO, by all geniusness, that's a play wing, makes sense only on the ridge and on speed lines, not at all for cross country.

That 18m is just like my Flysurfer 18m Kiteboarding kite. Except mine is not rated for flying haha.
Both foil kites and paragliders are made by the same company Skywalk/Flysurfer/Flare. Also I've seens that some people have refitted their FS Speeds as paragliders, using the same mixer as we can see on those Mustaches.

It's like flying kites but you become the kite interesting.
So it's basically just a depower foil kite. I always wondered why para wings didn't use a depower system.

What about the sink rate? We never see you high above ground or at the same altitude of the other paragliders. Is it because you always wanted to play near the ground or because you could not climb?
Yes it's very good for surfing the dunes but what about catching thermals up high?

Judson, can you imagine a way to 'throttle lock' the lines while x-country flying to save yourself from arm fatigue? or is the position of the lines and pulley wheel not going to allow that?
i think this wing is not for cross country, no thermalling, only soaring in laminar wind conditions...

I remember when this wing released, I was FLOODED with Mustache-content for a couple of days on RUclips by like 12 content creators. So their social media marketing was full force! Kinda makes sense for a product AS niche as the Mustache. PG and PPG are already VERY niche products.... Speedflying (and similar) is insanely rare... There are at most maybe a couple of thousand worldwide...

i find the concept really amazing even doe its nothing for me as a thermic Paraglider, but one thing bugs me is it the same way susceptible for frontal collaps if you fly fully hands up that wing like a usual Paraglider would be when the glider is fully accelerated ?

Great vid demo'ing the capabilities! I've been looking into adding a miniwing or speedwing to the quiver for soaring on high-wind days. This one has REALLY gotten my attention for sure. Any input on how nice it'd be suited for speed-soaring days compared to something like Ozone's Zero 3? Thx!

Looks like a wing that is going to get a lot of pilots killed. The speed in combination with different handling. Before you know it, you're splattered all over some obstacle.
Imo it’s a lot safer than a comparably fast speed wing, because you have so much power to slow down and flare upwards. But hey, it’s all dangerous.
Been intrigued by these for a while now. This video has convinced me that I gotta try or buy one. Who is selling these in the US?

No, it's not the future of paragliding. It may find more mainstream success in speed flying but ultimately I see it staying a niche thing.
