I love these videos. I was 5 years old in 1980 😊. Grew up on the south side of Chicago and familiar with Cal park , burnham , dolton south burbs. Do you have any early videos of the Blue island area with the Chessie ( now CSX)?

To me, 1980 was the center of the universe for freight cars. It was a perfect storm between older vintage cars like pre-Conrail, pre-BN, pre-N&W etc. Adding to the mix was the boom in short line boxcars and a lot of interesting private owner cars.
