  • Here are 4 more knives from my collection.
1-Puma SGB-Rattler It is 5.50 inches overall in length and has a 2.6-inch full-tang blade constructed of high-quality 1.4116 German Cutlery Steel. It has synthetic stag handle scales and a leather sheath.
2-Puma SGB-Buffalo Hunter is 10 inches long and has a 5.7-inch full-tang blade. It is also constructed of the same 1.4116 German Cutlery Steel. This one has layered G10 handle scales and a soft leather sheath.
A note about the 1.4116 German steel. The 1.4116 steel is a versatile material commonly used in cutlery, culinary knives, and other fine-cutting tools like scalpels. It is well known for producing Swiss Army Knives. The 1.4116 steel has a chromium content of 15%, making it corrosion-resistant. Because of its great corrosion resistance, the steel is food-safe and may be used in professional settings. Because of the low carbon content, the 1.4116 steel is not as hard as high carbon steel and does not keep an edge like other steel varieties. While it will not dull quickly, you must sharpen the knife more frequently.
3-Columbia River Knife & Tool (CRKT) Model 4514 "Hawk D.O.G." This HAWK D.O.G. is a Grant & Gavin Hawk design that incorporates their Deadbolt Over Grabstep locking mechanism. Overall Length is 8.00 inches, with a 3.5-inch AUS-8 partially serrated hollow-ground blade. This one has often been used for auto conversions and has been discontinued by CRKT, making them rather hard to find.
4- Buck Knives - 830 Marksman - The Marksman features a Grant & Gavin Hawk locking mechanism called the Strong Lock System (SLS). This is one of the strongest locks on the market. The 830 Marksman has a ball-bearing pivot for easy, reliable performance. This tough knife. The production models feature a black anodized aluminum frame and a 154CM steel blade. 8.25 inches overall length with a hollow ground 3.5-inch coyote tan-coated 154CM blade and green aluminum handle scales. This one had a non standard finish and was part of the Buck Knife of the Month club and is 1 of 500 released in 2022.
