Recently when the Division 2 was on some crazy holiday sale I decided to buy it along with WONY. I’m a Destiny 2 long time player and this game is the biggest breath of fresh air. I have never played this or the first one before, but I absolutely love it and hope it gets a player base back.
So glad you've been enjoying! I think the game is pretty fortunate to already have a healthy playerbase given its age and lack of content releases compared to Destiny 2, but with Resolve and everything down the line there's big potential to garner way more fans for sure! Cheers!

I've been back and forth with this game, over 29 days played(there's plenty peeps with more obviously) mostly destiny/destiny 2 from launch. I am extremely happy with the development of destiny 2 for the fact it has gone so far down hill it forced me to play this game again. I have fallen in love with thus game and do not regret it one bit!!

As a former player 3 changes that would make me return are, first, a shared open world, I like bumping into other players while in the world it makes the world feel more alive. Second is a better queuing system, I want to be able to queue for more than one mission/activity at a time. Third is cross platform so we can play with more people and it will shorten queue time
cross plat is definitely a must man but with these changes mentioned i think these are a start to brighter days

@@davidward5532 Doubtful. Division 2 is sunsetting and they are going to focus on Heartland and the other one. Even if they claim theres "more content", its probably just seasonal crap.

Devs have really put an emphasis on accessibility these last few updates. From revamped menus to planned content like being able to replay old Manhunts to get missed comms, you can tell that they’re trying to get the game in a state that appeals to both newer players and long time players in order to retain that attention for The Division 3 (like you said)
Yeah they have really done a full u turn and seem to be invested in the franchise again, division is such an amazing IP and deserves all the attention!
My big thing was the Manhunts. I very much played Div2 as a looter shooter because the story/lore was enjoyable. I missed the original warlords release and several manhunts in a row because of life reasons and after picking it back up I feel right back off post-warlords because of what felt like a huge gap in the story/content.
Its the same reason I haven't been able to pick Destiny 2 back up. The amount of content I missed as well as how much content is just simply locked/gone because its either sunset or because the game 'progresses' past that content and you can't experience it left me with the 'missed out' feeling of FOMO.
Woah, is that thing about replaying old manhunts to get missed lore items true? I basically stopped playing after season 4 or 5 when the season ended earlier than the in game countdown said it would and I missed some of these. Really annoyed me.

I just came back to the game as well after a long hiatus and let me tell you, it is so nice to just lay back get on and mindlessly grind and just relax and play, it is a nice bit of fresh air. This game and the world they created is so pleasing and I just love this game with a passion. I feel like division 3 will be huge if they stay on the track they are on. I would love to see a form of hunting implemented too. so many animals in DC on the streets it would be cool to have a use for them, weather that's just for materials or managing hunger either one!
Just bought the ultimate edition last week on sale and finally opened my signature weapon. I'm not a big PVP fan, so i've never been inside the Dark Zone nor played conflict, but the missions are tons of fun and I've met alot of new people through the Answer Backups feature. I have not unlocked any of the green gear yet. I'm at about level 35 and having an absolute blast! Those black tusk guys are tough. I just made it to world tier 2. Thanks for this video my friend. It can definitely feel daunting as I see some people have scores like 7,000 LOL and I'm just there with my 300.
So glad you're enjoying! The daunting feeling is certainly warranted, but make sure to remember that fun is the ultimate goal, and there's no need to rush through things! Enjoy the progression journey and know that you'll be at the top of the mountain before too long 👍
@RogueGold I'm in the endgame now and leaning Into skill build. I just completed tidal basin on legendary with a group of friends.
That was one of the hardest things I've ever done. Holy smokes. I was the teams healer while 2 guys ran DPS and 1 ran Tank. Chem launcher plus reviver hive. So many close calls.
That last bit is straight up INSANE. Sooo many enemies. Good lord. I was wondering a few times if I was playing Helldivers instead of Division 2. Absolute chaos 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Came back yesterday and what an improvement, game runs smoother too, I feel they added more sounds within the game world and also, the enemies felt a lot more dynamic and also noticed an improvement in lighting and particle effects ❤

I’ve been away from the game for years. I remember running a technician build with the capacitor and finally being able to get through legendary missions.
I stopped playing all these years kind of expecting a sequel to come out eventually, but this is good news. I really hope the plans to support the game come to fruition!
If you’re bleeding out with technician and you need more survivability, holding a skill grants you bonus armor
if they did zombies one time as a dlc it would break the internet i swear
that would be the only way to get me back into this game! Don't get me wrong, it's a decent game, but D1 was better. I had so much fun in the DZ in Division 1. DZ in D2 is complete shit. Areas are too small, too few players. PVP is a pile of dogshit.

I'm happy to hear how many times you've said things are being buffed. It's so frustrating when devs make changes by nerfing things that are powerful. Having more options that are just as powerful is much more fun from a player standpoint.
Started the Div1 years after releasing and still had a fan base. Picked this one up 5 years later and a bigger base and waaay more awesome. Probably one of the best games ever, IMO. Thx rogue for recommending war lords. So much more and an awesome experience.

Div1 is much better then 2 imo. Dz was way better, pvp was way better. Div2 turned it all on its head in a really bad way.

Build diversity in this game is seriously on another level when compared to others in the genre. You can slap anything together and as long as you've got the skills to back it, it'll work... You can't say that with very many games...

As someone who has just got back into the game after coming in and out every now and again, I’m really enjoying myself, the fact that I just found out they buffed strikers my favourite set from division a couple years ago and I’m just now finding out probably helps too

I have about 1k hours on D1 but when D2 came out I just couldn’t do it anymore cause my girl was pregnant and shit around me was changing. I finally bought it last night and when I realized I was 5 years late to the party I was fuckin trippin.

Nice!! Do note that they did add a "Legacy Seasons" system into the game which provides some text recaps of old Seasonal story, and serves as a hub to replay old Seasonal prime missions 👍

I came back about a week ago only to find out were getting a bunch of balancing changes to even out the dps of the assault rifles. I am happy i can start using the AK again
I truly hope the division and the incredible team behind it get all the attention, praise, and acknowledgment they deserve i know the first game left some people feeling sour although i enjoy it to this day but there is no words that can describe how awesome it is that they've continued to not only support this game but to also keep making it feel fresh and rewarding something bungie has failed to do with destiny for so many years now i love div 2 its one of my favorite games and franchises i hope it gets a new influx of players and attention. And it takes the forefront of what a good live service/looter shooter game can be

I've been playing off and on for maybe 4 years and I'm just getting back into it now... My watch level is only like 350 so I feel like a bit of a scrub when trying to go into the DZ and I'm kind of just for the first time getting into PVP but I'm having fun and I appreciate your vids. They've been helping me a lot to get kind of caught back up.

Good luck on pvp , every since people .. cheating shd levels . Your going in with a big disadvantage.. when they have shd 5000 plus and alot of them are over 10k just the extra health they get will be massive against you .. i think i am 1600 which is low low .. and i get like 30 or 40k more life I think, can remember went back to div 1 but at shd 5000 to 10k they have almost double over you
I think the biggest thing for me with division 2 is the fact that I’m so lost half the time with builds and there is so much stuff going on that I’m never sure what I should be doing. Secondly always playing solo kind of sucks. But i want to give it a try again. I’m just scared that it’s going to be the same thing of not knowing what i should be doing.

Are you already 40? From there I'd say unlock all of the skill trees (especially technician and gunner), run Summit with loot set to strikers until you get a set of serviceable pieces then run Countdown until you have all the PvE named pieces you want. Challenging is just a treasure trove.
Division 1 was so incredibly fun and exciting when it came out, the dark zone and everything was absolute chaos!

Agreed, D1 is the only game I ever Platinumed, was excited for D2 and after playing for 4 months or so it just seemed like a really dumbed down version of D1 with much less to do.
I wished they just stayed with Div 1, loved that game so much. Never had that sort of connection with the 2nd

I played division 1 alot and diddnt play division 2 and I recently got it on sale for Xbox x and its amazing in 4k and ther is alot of hidden. Treasures and secret spots to find I like to see.. it just dropps the server connection every now and then.
the good, no crash at least on the open world. the fps get better. something to load the game does not load. but i can manage i prefer that that crash on the middle of the game. one of the big problems are DLC i can only use paypal. and most places is not like steam. let see when time comes i will find a way
Division 1 skirmish was the most fun I’ve had playing this series I haven’t played Div 2 since the proficiency/expertise system released which was a long time ago. I’ve been thinking about returning but what I enjoy is being able to make unique pvp builds that work and something division 2 has always seemed to have was a strict meta where you get destroyed unless you’re using what everyone else is. Anyways I’m probably gonna check it out tm and see if I enjoy the current game

Haven't played in years. Looks like I will be back as soon as I'm back from my trip.
I was considering freeing up storage space to redownload Division 2 but i tend to get graphical issues and black pixels/shadow issues whenever underground.
I haven’t played TD2 since I got my PS5 a couple years ago. I just found my PS4 external hard drive and plugged it in to see what’s on it and TD2 was. Just looked it up on here to see if anyone still plays it and I’m so glad people do. And I hear the third game is in development rn so that’s hype

Agree, some in the DZ are just there to destroy.
@Dani.a2i I think Conflict is more likely to see a big surge, personally, with the balancing and major rewards boosts there. DZ I think many will still be put-off by given Expertise bonuses are remaining. We'll see though!
DZ is for griefers and gankers. The only reason I go the DZ these days is for materials.
Shame really, because it's a good concept.
Dealing with cheaters and toxicity still a big issue keeping players out.
In Div 2 cheats a few and far between nothing like Div 1.
All they have to do is keep expanding NYC till we get all 5 boroughs fully, and see how far this goes lol
Been wanting to jump back into D2, but it's one of those games where if I've been away for it long enough (About 3 years now?), I want to start fresh. Starting fresh in D2 though is a slog that always scared me off returning.
Project Resolves make that return a whole lot more enticing.
I recently did that and it wasn't that bad really. I had a chance to jump to level 30, but it was better to start over so I could get reacquainted with the mechanics. If you enjoyed the game in the past, you really won't mind once you get started.
I was a day 1 player of D2. Been thinking about returning over the past week and then this video popped up in the recommendeds. I too am one of those persons who wants to start with a fresh level 1 play after a long hiatus.

Hey! I definitely recommend you check out this video during or just after you complete the expansion, it should walk you through what you need to know. Resolve has been a long time coming. It sucks that the DLC got pushed back, but the game has needed this for so damned long it's very reassuring to see the devs properly investing in the game's longterm health.

Thanks, that was a great Overview of the current state. I haven't really touched Divsion 2 since launch and am thinking of returning with a friend that I wanted to play it with since ages. And this information definitely makes it more likely that I will. I expected a game that doesn't get any further support and I'm surprised to see the opposite is happening. Ubisoft does do oopsies but they also believe and improve them. If they made Anthem we'd still have that gem.
I actually stumbled across The Division because I've checked out so many games while I'm ill for the past days that I came to the conclusion most of them seem like garbage and basically not a single game took The Division's strengths. So here I am.

Honestly as a PC player coming back into the division. The pros I found was it look good feels good the cons I never match make with anybody in any difficult I don't know how to grind for exotics nor does it gives you details on the possible rewards. The systems as far modding weapons or upgrading is so complicated with little info on what exactly your doing. The map and what's going on in the current season is just every where a better UI should be implemented. While division is fun overall it can be complicated with little detailed information on anything to do

Does anyone know how to fix the in game "screen crop issue" all 4 corners are cut off, including the minimap for reference. I've tried messing with every setting in game, updated drivers, and anything else I can think of. Monitor is a 27 inch 1440p monitor for reference.
To me that maybe sounds like a display issue, have you tried windowed vs. fullscreen, and messing around with those dimensions?
Alternatively you can go into the UI settings and fully customize your HUD layout to bring the Radar, etc. within your screen bounds.
I came back near the end of this season, it was pretty easy to come in going from level 30 to SHD lvl 100

Never felt the need to optimize or recalibrate mid game. Cool change though. Would rather take +250 stash inventory size though. Looking forward to tuesday though. You rock RogueGold always positive (when called for) and on point. No BS.

I remember having lots of fun with my friend in the DZ when the game releases. Tried again some years later and where greeted by some dude we couldn't damage at all, was not enjoyable at all, so we quit. Are there plans about resolving those balancing issues too?
From that description it's hard to say- sounds like you could have encountered a hacker. They have announced plans for more robust anti-cheat detection in the upcoming year of content

1 thing with Conflict i really wish they would change is take out the mode voting system completely and put each mode on a 15min rotation, kinda like COD does with some of its maps. I've never even got to play anything other than Skirmish cause no one votes for anything else, it's dumb. Like how is it fun playing the same mode 24/7?

For those who dont play PVP, and only PVE, still worth getting into? Havent played since warlords of new york was released.
Still no word on the fix to the FPS issues, for players not running high settings but high fps we are seeing a 50% cut in average FPS, i used to get up to 450, but since TU18 i cant get above 250, i usually hover around 200 but thats a high end system, most people are struggling for good fps, games released this year are running better atm, im worried this wont be fixed.
I hadn't heard about that yet. They have loosely mentioned "optimization" for Resolve, so there's a chance it could be addressed

Something that could also help is the new HARDCORE MODE. I began last week to play it! Other thing that I have requested for ever is CROSSPLAY! It should help a lot with the matchmaking issue.

The vast majority of the game's content can be done solo, I play that way a lot!

Division 2 is a great game. Some significant bugs were implemented in this last patch/season, but they are working on it.
I hope chameleon gets a buff. Its my favourite gun in the game and really wish it was better tho with the negotiators dilemma its bit of a beast 👌

I just seeing if I’m crazy but I have started playing on a central server but a few months ago I would mostly play on west but sometimes east. Did they fire up a new server?
I saw someone else notice the same shift, so it would appear they did add Central servers!
my goal in the game is to get 1 good set of every armor in the game so i can play around with builds. my stash is full so i can no longer progress and gave up just over a year ago. i hope they increase inventory space

I can never seem to play this game, I liked this game and wanted to spend time on it but i crashed so much I had to change my cpu. Then after i wasnt able to benchmark or save graphics settings i gave up..

i hope game keeps growing after div3, like yannick stated, more expansions and locations to explore is what players want, not anymore gamemodes, unless its survival.
I think a healthy balance of both is essential. I recall how after WONY released, everyone was clamoring for more replayable content (Kenly was the only Game Mode). Going a long time without one of the two types makes you long for the other 😄
Why is Kenley never opened? I've played everyday for the last 8 months and i think it's been opened twice in that time frame. @RogueGold
