Hello Alexandra!l I have a lot of humidity here in Arizona during the Monsoon rainy season too! So this is a really great new heat too from WOW! I have always liked their embossing powder and now with the eco friendly glitter powder, I am going to have to purchase the next HH monthly kit to get some new exclusive colors!! Thank you for all you do for us, your devoted subscribers. ~ 😺Katz

Thank you. I'm looking to dry patina on metal components. I like that you compared the WOW to the Ranger Heat It tool on watercolors. I think this will work for me. 🙂

A tip I would like to offer:... Though you likely know already.
You can use a kitchen can opener, to "unzip" those plastic clam shell packages. .
Personally, it's easier, I have severe arthritis.

I was curious about this heat tool, Alexandra so thank you for sharing. I love my Wagner heat tool, but I too have burned myself a couple of times (not that that would stop me from crafting LOL).

Ive been using this since it came out in the UK its absolutely brilliant for many things including mixed media. Its hard to get the wagner in UK. I tried the stampin up one, but it constantly cut out on me and i had to wait ten minutes cool down NOT GOOD. so yes a the WOW heat gun is a fab one! a good investment

Rather than kinking or knowing the cords of the heat guns, go with a hair dryer or curling iron mount like you might see at the salon.

OMG, so encouraging to see companies making better choices like that biodegradable glitter. I used to work in water ecology, and it was so disheartening to see all the glitter going into big fads like homemade slime, and glitter facial masks, on top of everything else. All of that washes into waterways and settles into ocean sediment, to be taken up by aquatic organisms -- generally to their detriment. So your mention of this Eco Powder glitter embossing tinsel just made my day. :) Thanks for the great review of this gun!~

We NEED more eco-friendly crafting items! Personally, I have stopped using ALL glitter, sequins, mylar, plastic confetti, etc. When I recently read an article about all that stuff going to the ocean through our waterways, I about choked. AND, I have read reports recently about whales, dolphins, sea turtles, etc., beaching themselves, and when marine biologists performed necrologies, they found their stomachs full of glitter, plastics, metals, etc., and those things are exactly what killed them. When is mankind going to smarten up and start tending to these things? Hopefully, the Eco-Sparkles are beginning the trend of this type of crafting materials! I am not an extremist ecologist....just a girl who grew up on a farm in the Midwest and takes to heart these issues as I see what's going on in the world!

Carol Price this is a CRAFTING channel, not a beauty channel. Nails are irrelevant and your comment was extremely rude and uncalled for. If you don’t like the video, be an adult and move on without being nasty.

@@jaustin2927 I agree! Sometimes, a girl cannot get to the nail salon in time to get her videos done and uploaded. Please be kind. Your remark was not. How would you feel if someone said that to you OR told you you have a hair sticking out of your nose? Hmmm?
