    If you took the average distance for every Mark Reynolds Home Run and put it up against the average distance for every Home Run ever, he’d have something like 50-60 more Home Runs if he just saved some distance on some of them lol

      In spring training with the Tribe, Reynolds hit a ball completely over one of the giant hitter’s eye back drop walls, which was 20-40 feet past the outfield wall. Farthest ball I’ve ever seen. The Indians broadcast was doing the game and Rick Manning even suggested that the ball had to be 500 feet, both guys saying it was the farthest they’ve seen

    I remember Glenallen Hill hit a home run estimated at 490 feet. The commentary team said it was longer than that, but the ball ended up on top of a Wrigley rooftop. That was such an impressive hit because it seemed so seamless.

    I’ll never forget Reggie Abercrombie in Cincinnati around 04-05. Dude almost hit it out of the stadium in left field. Top deck, around 4 rows deep. Marlins announcers were freaking out. “Oh, my!!”

    Most impressive hrs I've seen were actually bp hrs.
    Mark Mcgwire hit the facing of the roof in RFK Stadium. Washington newspaper stated that it was projected @ 565'
    Also, Joey Gallo hit a ball to the top of the roof over the rf upper deck in Globe Life Stadium/Ballpark at Arlington.
