    Hats off to Dr. Shoemaker for what he said at the end of the video! "Skepticism in the face of obvious abnormalities is inappropriate." And for being a country doctor personality...for working on a "hunch"
    My only question throughout the entire video was this: Why wasn't the CDC called in right from the get-go? I mean...way back, years Before when they DIDN'T have a level 3 lab. The Very Fact that they even Needed one was a siren call in my opinion.

      I remember in school they kept trying to encourage us to understand how things worked, because thinking like this is what leads to great leaps in science. Don't just know that 'penicillin kills this bacteria'. Know *how* it kills the bacteria. Don't just know that kidneys filter. Know *how* they do it. Because then when something goes wrong you can play detective. "It should work this way...so what is stopping it from working how it's supposed to?"

    I was a travel nurse who had taken an assignment in Edenton North Carolina right when this was happening until today I had no idea. How incredibly lucky I was. I was staying in someone's vacation Cottage right on the water because it was the off-season and the travel company found that housing for me. Had it been the warm weather I might have been swimming and I was literally 30 yards from the water at the most. So it would have been a pretty frequent swim I think. There was a doc half a block away that was shared by the homeowners and I had it all to myself. I'm so sad that this doctor has been suffering so and I hope that it hasn't progressed. That's a terrible price to pay for working in public health.

It was a while back and I don't remember any disorientation or other ailments. but my eyes were bloodshot and watering heavily. I assumed it was the pollution and never went back.
    sounds suspiciously like this...
    Whatever it was, it's so very wrong that we use our waterways as waste and sewage dumping grounds.

    I was a microbiology technologist for years (now retired) back in the 60s through the 80s. If there’s one thing I learned pretty quickly, it was that bacteria, and other microorganisms, can and will mutate for different reasons. The bug has managed to develop a toxic response to a dangerous chemical substance that can (ultimately) cause the fisteria (spelling?) to “consume” the victim with this “neurotoxin” that can lead to terminal illness. There was a very common bacteria that posed no health risk to any human and was “normal flora” in the intestinal tract (gut) and aided in digestion. Sometimes it might cause an infection in the urinary tract, probably caused by improper wiping after a bowel movement. One day, the bacteria known as Escherichia coli decided to “fight back” with a surprise of its own (maybe as a response to overuse of antibiotics, maybe not) and mutated by developing a dangerous toxin to turn into a very serious, and sometimes deadly, gastroenterological illness with spoiled food as the culprit. Nature always has surprises in store for us and will keep us guessing!

    • @suzannebrown2505
      @suzannebrown2505 3 года назад +8

      @Tanya leonguerrero My guess is that it was probably a toxic substance of some sort. Perhaps a bacterium or even a parasite might have caused it. At any right, you should have gotten a medical opinion on what it might be. Sometimes allergies can cause problems also. As far as toxic chemicals go, there’s so much junk in the air, a good sized part of it caused by insecticides with nasty things in them, that cause problems, like helping to cause diseases in the the honeybee population and trees and plants, birds and other animals, and us.

    • @sandyhenderson441
      @sandyhenderson441 10 месяцев назад

      The E. coli didn't fight back due to antibiotic overuse. Bacteria can release DNA (genes) into the environment for other bacteria of completely different species to take up. It's like a giraffe swapping genes with a hedgehog. At one point in time a Shigella bacterium released some genes into its environment. Shigella causes dysentery, and these freed genes were taken up by an E. coli. The genes released & absorbed included those that cause the gut damage and bleeding that happens in dysentery, and E. coli 0157 was born. This gene swapping also allows antibiotic resistance to be shared: Bacterium A can destroy antibiotic Q, and the gene(s) that enable this happen to be among those released into the environment. Bacterium B has never met Q, and would be killed by it. B absorbs the DNA that A released and now knows how to destroy Q the first time it meets it, instead of having to find its own method while Q is killing millions of Bs infecting that host. B can also release the Q-destroying genes into the environment for Bacteria C, D, E and F to use to protect themselves from the effects of Q.
      This DNA transfer is called horizontal gene transfer if anyone wants to Google it.

      It's believed Ecoli got the gene from a random swap with Shigella(the dysentery germ), as the toxins are the same. This swap probably occurred back in the late 60s or early 70s. The earliest known case of the 0157 strain was an elderly man in 1975, but after that it wasnt' seen against til an outbreak at MacDonalds in 1980 and at Wendy's in 1981.

If He showed Himself and miraculously eradicated this and every other disease, we would be forced to believe He is real. That would defeat the purpose of free will. But the hog farms are now controlled, the fertilizer put on lawns is not. The downplaying of the issue is primarily due to not having a test they can sell or a treatment that they can sell. I accidentally discovered the truth about factory farming of animals being the cause of human viruses and pandemics. Our country is not exempt from guilt. We have higher health standards, but factory farming still leads to health problems among animals and is transferred to humans, no matter which country it originates from. Mainstream media dramatizes storms and floods, etc. but they don't approach the most important subjects of problems caused by man's abuse of nature. Weather comes and goes, but disease can run rampant and doesn't go away...it just mutates and infiltrates and does not discriminate. Man is his own worst enemy. He creates disease and can't delete it. For whom the bell tolls, we cannot un-ring it.

      Not necessary. We, the People created agencies with the authority and power to clean up our rivers. The problem is that industry and corporations keep finding work-arounds, ways to cheat the regulations. Worse, we have a President forced on us by an antagonistic foreign power, who has been dismantling the agencies that work on our behalf, the worst example, possibly, being Trump's Executive Order to dismantle regulation of industrial hog farming. Things are going to get worse until we take our country back from corporate control. That's going to require some sacrifice by Republican voters. Trump appeals to them because he gives them permission to be cruel to the weak and powerless, permission to hate. But he only uses that too attract vulnerable voters. Since he's been "elected" he has served only the corporations and their billionaire shareholders. His "tax cut" benefitted only the super rich, but the simple minds in the beer and tobacco wing of the Republican Party only hear "tax cut". Nuthin' for you, boy.

Anyone, divers, fishermen, anyone even near the water was being affected. The muscle spasms looked like rodents running around under the skin. It was shut up because the powers that be didn't want to loose tourist money. The doctor that tried to blow the whistle was shut down, humiliated and lost her job. Everyone should do a parasite cleanse once a year. Costs like about 10 bucks with drinking tea with walnut hull extract, wormwood drops, and clove powder. I was eating raw clams for a whole and I got something in me that was parasitic. The normal medication treatments cost alot and are not natural. My self remedy killed the parasites and I could sleep like a baby after that. Before that......constant insomnia and nervous anxiety and lack of ability to focus. When pig crap is dumped in a river, fish eat those parasites for food, then the food eats the fish.

      I think when the Mexicans are seen eating hot peppers like they were potato chips, it's a tradition to cleanse their stomach and intestines of whatever they picked up. So the walnut extract is the green hull juice mixed in alcohol and you just take 20 drops in your tea before sleeping at night and some powdered cloves, and wormwood extract with 15 drops. Add some honey so it's not too bitter. Then do the same tea when you wake up. For 3 days. After the first day, you know something is happening because whatever died in you, has to be assimilated away and it's not a good feeling. After 5 days you heal up in your muscles and wherever else the worms were living and you feel like a million bucks. Your memory gets better, you can concentrate. You sleep like a log, wake-up feeling rested. Have more energy, not like you just gave blood. Most doctors have no clue about this because it's not medical, it's not going to be diagnosed easily. The earth has always been flat and I think we have a new pill for you. Or they prescribed a slew of heavy pills that have side effects of liver damage. Imo. They treat worms with derivatives of poison and synthetically derived, and they cost alot. I am saying this is what farmers give to cows to kill parasites in them, they let them eat walnuts, the green hulls. Your not eating walnuts the kernel nut, it's the green sap from the tree that is in the hulls. Clove powder kills the eggs that the parasites lay to hatch a new batch. The clove powder is supposed to be added to tea for two weeks after the 3 days. Like half a teaspoon or a 1/4 teaspoon, whatever you can handle, it's food. Mixed in tea add some honey so you can get it down. The wormwood is a known remedy from Europe, it's a little stronger than the walnut hull extract so it's not 20 drops, just do 15. In the same tea, taken together.
