  • Very rare show. First and only indoor show of the 93 season. Makes me wish they also showed mud racing at arenas, but USHRA did that.

    Bearfoot's run at 12:30 is underrated.
    Pulling a huge wheelie in no-man's land and not nosing over on the final ramp is very impressive.

    Back when this first aired I thought it was Monster Wars season 2 starting up and was mad that it moved to cable TV. If only there was internet in those days.

    Little known fact you have to grow a mustache to be allowed on the floor of a Monster Truck event in '93. Rick Rattler didnt have a mustache so that is why he was under the nomex mask.

    Does anyone know the official standings from 1993?
    We know that Wildfoot won the championship, but I'm not sure what the placings were after that.
    The Snake Bite page on Wikipedia claims that it finished 2nd in both 1993 and 1994, but we know that's wrong for 1994, because Dan Runte finished 2nd with Power Wheels Bigfoot.
    I think it's also wrong for 1993, because on Dan Runte's bio page on the Bigfoot website, it lists him finishing 2nd in 1994, but doesn't say that for 1993.
    Based on the fact that Gene Patterson won four races this season, I think he would have finished 2nd.
    1st - Bigfoot #11 (Wildfoot) - Andy Brass
    2nd - Bigfoot #10 (Bigfoot) - Gene Patterson/Dan Runte
    3rd - Bigfoot #8 (Snake Bite) - Dan Runte/Eric Meagher

    3 Bigfoots and 2 Bearfoots. Still believe Bearfoot was the fastest monster truck ever made. Even today

    • @stanleychiu7594
      @stanleychiu7594 3 года назад +2

      Bearfoot definitely had the most power. Bigfoot won more based on consistency and good driving, but when Bearfoot is dialed in, it's faster.

      Back then the transmissions were the problem for Bigfoot , they were the hold back. I'm sure those Ford Hemi's produced some good horsepower. I remember when Bigfoot 9 was first built and it had the same transmission as what Fred was running and that truck was made fast. Bigfoot eventually took that out and went back with the old C6 transmission.

    Do you have the 1994 Hoosier Dome race.?

    • @waynenorbreyjr9371
      @waynenorbreyjr9371 3 года назад

      There was a race in 1994 it was the race where Lonnie Childress was in Bigfoot #10 with the Power Wheels body and Eric Meagher was in the brand new Bigfoot #15. That should have been in November cause Bigfoot #15 was completed shortly before that event. The next event after that would have been Lima 1995.

    • @waynenorbreyjr9371

      The 1995 event is where Eric Meagher and Bigfoot 15 debuted the new Ford F-150 and smacked the wall.

    All I've ever wanted to know is if Army was in on it at the very start when Snakebite was acting like he didn't know anyone. It wouldn't take 2 interviews to know who was who but I'm talking at the very start was there ever a time that they DIDN'T know who the snakebite team was. I've wanted to ask army for 25 years.

    • @stanleychiu7594
      @stanleychiu7594 3 года назад

      My assumption is he knew from the beginning and it was just a show for the spectators to pretend they were a completely separate team. Unless the Bigfoot team actually went to extreme lengths to pretend Snake Bite was some separate entity, I would assume the Snake Bite crew and equipment all travelled together with the rest of the Bigfoot team.

    • @DirtyFrigginHarry
      @DirtyFrigginHarry 3 года назад +1

      it was just a show for the spectators and Army was the one who really helped them sell it in the beginning. Snakebite was intended to be like a villain/heel in wrestling but ended up becoming popular. Plus it was pretty obvious where Snakebite had many of the same sponsors and parts that the rest of the bigfoot team had.

  • @LextechLighting
    @LextechLighting 6 лет назад +5

    Bigfoot was secretly running a monopoly. They had Bigfoot 8 (snakebite), Wildfoot, and Bigfoot 9/10. The final was going to be Bigfoot no matter what.
