I am thinking about this camera as a B camera- I have a Sony FX9, as well as other FS-5, and other 4k sony- Like the idea of using the 6k to be able to do digital zoom and pan in post- compared to Z-cam E2 -S6 full frame-your thoughts? Which would give the biggest bang for the buck?
Yes, the X-cam has nice fast frame rates and the Panny would match the quality of all the Sony's no doubt (close on dynamic range too I think). S1H's 6K is 24p, and 5.9k up to 30p and both give great post possibilities. I guess it's more about matching the colour space and luts etc. Do you shoot in log? If so, I'd be happy to upload a clip for you to test/match with your cameras...

The camera's default S-Cinetone color look offers the same soft, vivid tone as with Sony's VENICE camera.

I have a small pub gig to shoot next month. It's my son's friend's first gig at 18. I'm going to use a Zoom H6 and H8 with various mics. During lockdown he wrote an entire album and I did a couple of quick videos for him. But it was a lot of fun to make. He's a talented lad and they both start college studying music in September. The Panasonic cameras use contrast detection for autofocus whereas most other makes use phase detection. It's really frustrating, especially when you are used to Canon's amazing Dual Pixel system.
