Can I brag on God for a minute? I'm so overwhelmed with His unmerited favor. When I started this podcast, I was extremely self-conscious and was unsure of how people would receive my unadulterated transparency. I almost self-sabotaged my project and aborted the baby because I kept comparing myself to other male influencers who are dominating the space of relationship advice.
I told God, "I don't want to give advice on relationships. I simply want to invite the audience on my journey of discovering, uncovering, and recovering love." He said, "And that's what will make your platform different. Be authentically YOU."
With shaky legs, I walked out the vision of this podcast. I did it afraid. Last night, one of our episodes hit 100k views! All glory to God! The RUclips Channel has been viewed 400k times this month alone! Wow! We're almost at 20k subscribers in just 5 months!
Let me encourage you in the vision God has given you. Don't abort the baby. Bring it to full term. Teach the baby how to walk, talk, and nurture it to become all God wants it to be. He will give you provision for the vision. I pray that your faith fails not. In times of discouragement, trust me... there will be many, lean not to your own understanding and in all your ways acknowledge God and He will direct your path.

Been single or married are both blessings. Am enjoying my single life n hoping to meet my future husband . Many times n especially in church single mothers are pushed to a corner. Jae, it’s amazing how God works...here you are sharing your testimony and truth be told there’s no testimony without a test. This was truly amazing. Please continue remaining people this is your journey and not their's. Because the testimony of two beautiful black men standing in their truth is awesome. Thank you for the quality of men that you bring on your show, because it gives me tools to continue teaching my own sons to be men. As a single mother when I look back and see the damage that might have been caused by trying to protect them from not having a male around, I knew I had to change my process for raising my sons. I had to start healing, not for myself, but for the men I was raising. God has always led me to men that help me speak life into my sons and I am truly thankful. Thank you for not only uplifting yourself and other man to be in a healthy place, but not belittling black women. Jay, when you talk of seeking your father's approval and never receiving that approval, I totally understand. After having that same talk with my own father, I learned a lot about who he was. I realized he was a broken man with a lot of regrets. The things we say can hurt others and lead to resentment and hatred for not only themselves, but others as well. Thank you, and keep striving to do your best.

This broadcast was great from the beginning to the end! There are so many gems. The insight and transparency from you both... from Black men, was beautiful. The love for your children and young adults, mothers...family, friends.. thr prayers. It all was great.
It was also sobering for me as a 43 year older woman. I’ve been learning that women “spoil” and expire while men age with many years to find Life Partnership, be it by going forward or a decade+ backwards. It’s frightening but eye-opening.
I’m looking forward to more content.
Sidenote: I’m slipping in a Virtual National Mentorship program in the suggestion box for older teens and younger adult Black males. I’d absolutely pay for a membership for my 19 year old son and my nephew.

Laterras if may make a suggestion that perhaps when you're doing a live etc if your guest are on a,time limit that you can have your son or who ever is helping give a que that you time is up or u have five minutes to wrap up something like that . When asked to describe herself, she described me. He came to see her and caught me walking down the street to her house. He called me her name and I kept walking.
I told him my name and he didn't believe me. I had to stop at a boy's house in the neighborhood to prove I was was me and not her.

30:00-50:00 had me in tears literally. I remember attempting to take my life at 16 and just hearing Jay talk about his attempt then affirming Armani is truly special. I’m so glad Jay is alive and I’m so grateful for this podcast ❤️
