Well, he was speaking of the power of the empire in general, this powers is possessed by the emperor, he wasn't speaking of personal powers of the emperor.

It amazes me that Vader returns to Sidious. What's the point? Power I guess but is Vader so foolish that he believes that Sidious won't just throw him away again when the next new shiny toy shows up (Luke Skywalker). That part never made sense to me I would have thought that at this point Vader would fix himself then try his best to find Luke so that he can work together with him to destroy Sidious. Spend some time learning from some dead Sith spirits, always seems to be one around somewhere willing to hand down some scraps if you lie and call them Master for a little while. Work on creating some sort of capacitor based system that can redirect Sith lightning while shielding his critical systems and then walk in like a Boss and fry Palps. But instead he licks his wounds and goes back to his Master like a good dog, which is why I have zero respect for him. Takes more than power and homicidal rage to be truly terrifying. Actually that's what makes Palps scary. He doesn't really get angry he has power and absolutely zero concern for anyone. You're his best friend one minute and he's torturing you to death the next and there is no rhyme or reason as to why. That is scary.
Wait the end of this serie. I'm sure Vader have some good motivations to return to the Empire. Some plans etc.

It’s only been about 22 years. And they look kind of mummified which might be due to the climate of Mustafar.
Maybe their alien bodies decompose slower or something.🤔
Remember when Mando meets The Child and if confused that it’s 50 years old, but also a baby? IG-11 then said “Different species age differently” perhaps it’s the same situation here. Different species decompose differently.
Look people, Mustafar is extremely dry and hot. The body wouldn't have any condition to rot traditionally along with there probably being no scavengers on the world, nothing would eat them.
You can see this with corpses in the deserts.

He wouldn't be able to use them outside the force since he wasn't allowed to call on the force to move his limbs the nerve endings were definitely connected
@@lUseMyBlade it doesn’t matter. They would of burned of. Painful at first in the same way that cold water is splashed on you, but it’s extremely hot and the shock would be short.

@@mozuesolympian2988 Ok so you don't understand and I'm gonna explain. Vader's nerve endings are interweaved with his armor giving him tactile response so he doesn't outright crush or squash anything he grabs or stands on. Nerves are connected to the spinal cord which inhibits movement. Now the fact is that the droid parts same as vaders suit are resistant to extreme heat and cold and even the void of space. His nerve endings are entertwined up to his stumps. So when new limbs are connected he does feel pain. Which explains his discomfort while the mouse droids put him back together again. He can also call on the force to move as he did when Cylo disabled him completely. But in this instance he can't because palpatine will track him down.
Honestly, it's pretty badass that Ochi was able to catch Vader's lightsaber.
I’m wondering if he’s slightly Force-sensitive. Catching that is certainly possible, but the only other person in canon who has done so was a Jedi Temple droid. So maybe it isn’t entirely impossible for a non-Force user, especially considering Vader isn’t using the Force here.

I love how Vader uses his wit, wisdom, willpower, knowledge, and anger to surpass his own limitations. Even so to become stronger in his abilities every time.

@@landonpennington5917 he'd just burn to death in an instant at the time. Anakin was indeed strong and gifted, but he didnt have the knowledge to pull of such a feat.

@@JBD915 Vader was considered one of the greatest duelists even when he was still anakin. As Vader he only got better. Even without the force vader should destroy almost everybody at this point with his skill and powerful cybernetics. Only powerful force users would ever stand a chance against Vader in any scenario at this point.
I was expecting Vader would slowly lower the assassin into the lava while still holding him by his neck. Staring coldly at him as his dark side resolve was renewed. Palps would then show up very pleased at what Vader had done. This would help solidify that only Luke could save Vader.
@@JBD915 Nah, Vader canonically is considered a prodigy when it comes to lightsaber combat. When Vader wants to kill something it usually isn't much of a contest. Not because he is simply powerful, but because he is tactically a good fighter and is usually a versatile one. He could have used brute force alone to kill this assassin, but chose a more tactical means to do so.

Oh, I see what you meant. Yea, Vader is far more powerful with the force. What I meant was during this time period, Vader even without the force can beat almost everybody since almost all the jedi are dead. The force just makes it overkill and far to easy. Only palps at this point can best him.

What if the point where Vader says "You're nothing to him. He will consume you and throw you away." He's saying it more as a realization & something he's admitting to himself than the assassin?
That all those years as Anakin where he genuinely thought Palpatine had his best interests at heart & was looking out for him, Anakin was really just a throw away pawn to bring down the Jedi Order & keep the the galaxy in line with.
I don't think it was until this comic series where he finds out the truth about Padme's death that Vader started really doubting that Sidious was ever an ally or friend to him at all.
Obviously a Sith Apprentice's purpose is to usurp the Master & to that end Vader was always looking for openings to do that, but I don't think it ever maliciously crossed his mind that Sidious was & had always been his true enemy & never a friend or ally from the very first time they met.
It hadn't been personal until this incident, Vader had only been looking for ways to take Sidious out cause that's just what the Rule of Two dictated.
I HATE when a LIghtsaber is called a laser sword in canon. It’s a lightsaber dammit. That weapon has been called that since 1977 when Obi wan had first said it....but I’m liking this comic and the vid!
Ochi was mocking Vader. He had never thought Palpatine could be defeated by some primative methods such as a lightsaber.
Also lightsaber has been called a laser sword for a long time most among ordinary people who only have limited knowledge about Jedi/Sith in Star Wars universe. It was no different to them

So weird I think it’s interesting how he goes back to where he killed the Separatists leaders and foods he killed and 20+ years later he’s there again and crawling through his beginnings
@@JBD915 it seemed pretty dilapidated though, so it's at the very least on its way to that point.
I think of it as him being discarded by Palpatine just like what Palpatine did with the Separatist council, so it makes a perfect comparison having them all around him

It’s a shame we didn’t get something like these comics as a TV series. A now older Natalie Portman would have been good for sabé and it’s interesting to see the time of the original trilogy be further intertwined with the sequels
Actually they could bring Keira Knightley as Sabe because she actually is Sabe (in TPM) and of course for Vader only Hayden Christensen (My favorite actor for Anakin/ Vader)

Wow! That was a great one! I was actually truly in shock and awe when the spider thing that hung out on sculpted baby heads that was regretfully scraped in episode IX (the whole movie was basically redone and the first draft in my opinion was definitely way better) really enjoyed this one, thanks for putting the effort together to make us this video!
It couldn’t have been almost 30, the timeline from revenge of the sith to the end of the original trilogy is only 23 years

Just over twenty years ago (23-ish years between ROTS and when this comic takes place) is NOT almost thirty years ago...is it a prerequisite that to be a Star Wars RUclipsr, you have to not be able to count? Pretty much every one of them out there seems to get the Star Wars timeline completely wrong.

Okay. Anakin was 23 when became Darth Vader (10 years old EP 1. EP 2 takes place 10 years later he is 20. EP 3 takes place 3 years later.) Luke and Leia were born at the end of EP 3. ANH takes place 19 years later, Vader is 42. ESB takes place 3 years later he is 45 (Luke and Leia are 22). EP 6 takes place 6 months to a year later. Vader is 46ish and Luke and Leia are 23ish. I hope that helps with the time line.

I know this is starwars and frogs can speak, but.... reprogramming a droid with one hand, no data terminal? No data input? Welding metal parts to his organic limbs without tools? That facility was filled with guards and droids, and No one had removed the dead bodies since his last visit? Those corpses unrotten? An asassin who leaves with no kill confirmation? And then, One more being in the galaxy who knows Vader's secret identity. That's lazy and annoying writing
