I am a "modeller" myself but watching masters like you take a simple kit and transforming it to such an incredible work of art is a humbling experience. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and techniques with us.
your builds are amazing, never seen so much detail get crammed into a small model before and i like how you go the extra mile to give it working doors and interior detailing
Nice of you to give Heller the credit, but the only Heller items were the body and the engine block! Astonishing - I have never seen anything quite like it, you desire to replicate all items as close as possible in scale is wonderful.
Since I found you on you tube yesterday I have been on a marathon/binge watching of all your videos. This is my favorite. It is simply spectacular. You obviously research your projects so you become a subject matter expert so as to get the details correct. You are a master Craftsman and you do great work with the camera. The videos are pleasing to watch. I wish I could take classes from you. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
I own two E-Types! I'm in the process of restoring the convertible at the moment. The 2+2 is going to be the next. I'm not a dealer, when I restore it is to keep in my collection of cars and to use them; that's what they were created for! It's my love for car's without plastic bumpers...
Another demonstration of a skilled Grandmaster Craftsman at work, my only criticism is the E-type is a British designed and built car, Right Hand Drive.
FANTASTIC WORK, I CAN ONLY SAY THAT I AM HEALTHY ENVY OF THAT LEVEL OF PERFECTION AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL. GOOD LUCK AND LET'S SEE IF WE SEE A HONDA S2000 SOON (IT'S A SUGGESTION)
Well now..what to say!? I’m a time served toolmaker and although I did some accurate stuff, seldom at this level of detail!! Virtually down to watch making skills with having to hold items to work on them at this scale, is very difficult, and takes great feel and skill! Whilst taking nothing from the demonstrated ability, think also of the great difficulty of making the scaled down moulding tools for the kit in the first place! All round excellent work here, so well done..bravo!
I started watching part 1 , didn't really think you could do much with this . Absolutely stunning ! You can do my full size one anytime ! Congratulations !
This didn’t look like a great kit, but you brought it to a level way beyond where it belongs. Amazing work. I’d love to see what you could do with a 1:18.
@@A4Garage All the more scope for you to work your incredible magic 😀. Whatever the scale, your work sets an extremely high standard. Thank you for sharing.
Incredible build with some unbelievable detail. I never see you applying glue to either surfaces. What are you using to adhere the metal parts to the plastic body? Thanks for sharing the fantastic build. Super inspired.

Incredibly good craft, a challenge to start a kit again yourself. Seriously, what one can learn from you everything within a few hours is incredible. Where do you get the chrome elements for entrances, window frames, etc.?
I remember building this kit decades ago, and how it was an absolute nightmare: everything was badly warped (especially the front frame), poor general fit of parts, wrong window curves, suspension too weak to carry the weight of the car and the list goes on. With such memories, it's even more astonishing to witness this absolutely beautiful museum quality build.
Perhaps the best model build ever on RUclips. Looking forward to part 5...engine start up!
ha ha.Thank you so much.
100%

Thank you for your kind words.
E-type is artistic car. Just as this cool car fascinated me, I think others will feel the same way.
Bonkers, utterly bonkers. But in a good way. And the model is gorgeous - a real work of art. Thanks. Tom

A masterpiece in reality and a masterpiece in model making 👍👍👍
I owned a Mk1 E Type, I am here to tell you that this model is as accurate as it gets. Beautiful!
I am very happy to hear such compliments from you, the owner of E type. Thank you!
Top quality build, excellent detail work. Spoken as an owner of a fully restored full size 1962 S1 3.8 fhc.
I'm glad someone like you who knows this car well said so. Thanks!
People say the Heller kits are awful. But you've made a beautiful model out of one.
When I decided to make an E-type I only had this kit. Thanks.
So thru, just finished one, there the worse
A true masterpiece A great work of art. A MonaLisa of models.
I don't say this lightly, but I think this is quite possibly one of the best scale model I have seen on RUclips. Outstanding work! 👏 👏
Thank you so much!
I will do my best to show good work.
@@A4Garage you're welcome! I'll watch your BMW soon too.

I think Heller made an export-type car into a kit. Thanks.
Simply Gorgeous, thank you so much for sharing this incredible work with us. Magnifico Maestro.

I have this kit from ebay since 2018, new in box. Your beautiful video is an ispiration to build it.
Thank you. This kit has good proportions, but unfortunately it requires some additions and modifications.
@@A4Garage : Some ? You've rebuilt almost an entire car ! As I told you, it's a shame your work is still ignored.
Watched all 4 episodes. AWESOME ,BEAUTIFUL
Thank you!
Incredible built! Amazing... Thanks!
I would love to see you build a Gullwing Mercedes. Great work !
An absolute masterpiece. A stunning build of a glorious car.

Thank you so much. I worked on the details to get a little closer to the actual car, and the quality of the kit was good, so the work was much easier.
This is insane modellin job. Bravo
Thanks for your compliment.
Nice work...Really nice work. The door hinges are fantastic. I aspire to build like this some day.

Just missing the oil puddle under the engine 😂😂😂
Superb! Like the DS. But I miss an exterior mirror and the handle on the trunk hood. Is that correct?
Thank you! It seems that the exterior mirror was not a standard specification. The handle on the trunk lid is not attached.

You're the best car model builder I've ever seen! From an average kit you made a splendid masterpiece! How long did you take to build it?
Thank you very much.
It took me about 3 months to do this progress little by little after work.
Faster than I thought. I'm a plane model builder with measly 3 years in the hobby, I really hope to get to your level. Congratulations
I would like to have seen a dipstick and the fuel door with a gas cap.
FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!! =))
This looked a dog of a kit,I bet you had to really use all your talents to transform it into a beautiful model.
나는 매우 합니다. 존경을.
Brilliant apart from the relentless annoying "music" !!! Watched with the mute on!! Look forward to more (without the sound track) !!
👍👍👍👍👋👋👋👌👌
Where are you sourcing your metals, pins and rods from?
Each material has a different place of purchase, but I found it at a model material shop or stationery store.
@@A4Garage pretty amazing use and repurposing of raw materials. Are you scaling each sub-assembly via reference photos, known dimensions and the like?
Thank you. I'm just referring to the photos and making them similar, so I don't think my dimensions are accurate.

Yes. Except for the proportions, this kit had a lot of disappointments as you said. That led me to make many parts myself. Thank you!
