- I think he need more appearance. Finally we hear something about him in at least one Marvel movie but his appearance is unknown.
This Screen-Time was pretty fucking confusing. I don't know if I added too many scenes or I missed some. If I did one of these two, just tell me.

That awkward moment where the shadow of Galactus in this movie is more comic accurate than the actual Galactus of this movie.
That's because the cloud isn't Galactus himself. It's Galactus' vessel. You can actually see him inside when Surfer confronts him.

He’s not a cloud , the cloud is just the effect created by him when travelling through space. You can literally see the shadow of his comic book appearance on Saturn & when the Silver Surfer enters inside the cloud.
1- Galactus takes many forms and is seen differently by different races/earths
2- the first film was heavily criticised for being too campy and light-hearted, I don’t think having a giant dude in purple eating a planet would’ve helped that
3- even then, the true Galactus is behind the cloud of dust and smoke- making him all the more threatening

I know everyone hates the design but I honestly thought it was cool when I first saw it, I remember thinking to myself how the hell they were gonna pull off having Galactus in this movie because of the goofy way he looks in the comics but when I saw the little visual references to him in this giant cloud/void I thought it was pretty cool! Reminded me a lot of the Eye of Sauron especially when you see his helmet in the fire!
I trust the mcu with galactus after externals. Didn’t like the movie but the final shot of arishem was one of the best in the mcu. Excited to see how galactus looks

@@Txfruit I think Marvel’s following a specific formula.🤔 bare with me, 1st bad guy threatens the current way of life. (Loki) next bad guy threatens either the past or the future (Ultron) 3rd threatens life across the entire universe (Thanos). So if I were to guess I’d say Skrull cause an alien invasion is kinda of a situation that needs to be tended to immediately and in the present. {+ Secret Invasion has a release time that’s closer than Antman 3 or the next Eternals. And I can’t see them putting a celestial in anybody’s solo movie. Kang is someone I could see threatening the future of the mcu or even the past. He’s someone thats in Antman 3 but also not goin to be beat by Antman alone so we can count on his defeat and return in another project. And as a finale I can see them either giving us Galactus as Arishems judgement or showing us how powerful the mcu version is gonna be by having him destroy Arishem and set his sights on us next.

I hope Marvel Studios redoes this shot but with Galactus ACTUALLY showing up onscreen, with his iconic comic accurate look! Either Dennis Quaid or Keanu Reeves, based on the most recent rumors for the casting, can portray Galactus. Ryan Gosling would make an amazing Silver Surfer. And Adam Driver for Doctor Victor Vom Doom.

Silver Surfer looked badass, but evidently they wasted all the special effect money on him, because the whole Galactus part was just sad. They wasted a huge opportunity to have one of the best villains ever on screen.

The silhouette of his helmet was pretty cool, the problem is this never had a payoff. If he was revealed fully for even a brief second at the end of the film it would have been worth it.
The plan was for galctus himself to appear without th3 cloud in the third film but since the 2nd kinda failed that plan fell through

Probably would have been better to make that more clear though, like have a giant eye look at him through a parted piece of the cloud or something just to show that more instead of lights and smoke patterns that resemble his shadow

I can explain cloud Galactus. You see... he wasn't MEANT to be a cloud. The idea was that the cloud would obscure him so that they could reveal him in full in a silver surfer solo movie. They even hint at it with the firey form there. The problem... was that they didn't count on the movie being unsuccessful. This is why you don't just "tease" things like that.

When you don’t have a good budget for real Galactus:
As a kid i loved the fantastic four (i still do) j remember as a kid seeing the scene silver surfer showed up to crash the wedding and i was hyped because I knew Galactus is coming when i saw the movie which i loved as kid and then it got to this moment i was excited to see him on the big screen then i saw the space cloud and i was all like what am i looking at what is that where is Galactus then i realized what was going on and i was disappointed years later after i saw this scene i now realized that what i was looking at was his shadow
Honestly, never realized Galactus was in this movie, BUT, I think it's cool that they did it this way (and the nod with the shadow silhouette on Saturn) rather than early 00 CGI showing him confronting a Giant with a purple helmet 😳... Apparently it was gonna show him in a sequel that never happened tho.
This gives me hope that we may see him in the 2024/25 Reboot.
After the prior reboot, I don't think Dr Doom will be the villain, unless he's revealed to be a Kang Variant or something but even if so, highly doubt he'll be the main antagonist.

I mean, it was a thing in the comics, yes, but why does Galactus need him? He just destroys everything with ease, not needing the conversion technology he used in the comics. If he didn't give Norrin his power, if he didn't have him attack Earth, he would have won. Not a very smart move for an apparently sentient cloud. I still appreciate them paying homage to his comic appearance.
To be honest I think the giant cloud is how he gets around because you can see an outline of him inside it
