King's Indian Attack (white) and King Indian Defense (black) are my favorite openings. Opens lots of possibilities. I've pawn forked knight & bishop to win a piece almost every game.
I've heard that if you can come up with three takeaways from studying a game, you've gotten a lot of value out of the study. With that in mind: 1. Avoid playing "reactionary chess". Don't ignore threats, but look for ways to respond to them that improve your own position, such as counter-threats. 2. A bad bishop can still be an active influence on the board. For example, it won't be blocked by the pawn chain if it's in front of or outside of the chain. 3. Aggressive play needs to be backed up by superior tactical play. It's a high-risk, high-reward style; if you miss a tactical combination, it can cost you the game even if you were winning. Great game, great narration. :)
Great fun to watch! Learning lots although my rating has taken a hit atm and im taking a chess break but i still enjoy learning through these videos! Keep em coming! Prof!
Genius is not, not messing up, it's attentively seeing and adequately correcting thereafter. Yep, your catch phrase is surely becoming "oops, where did that piece go?" But, understand, it now only serves to endear your viewers even more. So, keep making goofs and we will keep watching. Much respect!!!
Finally new videos!
tyBJP a norther great lesson
