So glad he's back!! This one was very educational !!! I procrastinated learning space ..coordination ..mobility etc for years but now it all makes sense !!
@@TheBackyardProfessor it's funny. When you said "chestnuts" in that recent talk, I immediately thought of your chess videos haha Good Bobby game, he was maybe the best ever.
There's a book for you to write--BOBBY FISCHER'S LOSING GAMES! ! Scrolling back to watch shows of yours I've missed. Your analysis makes all the difference for a class F, G player
Hi Kerry, novice chess player here. I’m talking, I don’t even have all of the rules down. Can you explain how Bobby took the pawn on B4 and ended up on B3 at 14:00
That's called en passant. You can look it up on Wikipedia I would imagine. It has specific rules to it, and it is usually taken advantage of when it arises.
@@Kevin-ts7hf My good pleasure. It was easier to let you read it than me trying to explain without a chessboard. I appreciate you not thinking I was just putting you off my friend...
@@TheBackyardProfessor No problem at all. The google and youtube machines are how I learn most things these days. En passant is what I was looking for, I'm a little surprised I'd never heard of or seen it done before.

YEAH, BABY!!!!! 😆
If I was a chess rapper, my name would be Brillian-C
Lil Ruy Lopez
Fascinating…gain space, beat the weak square to death, checkmate by Bishop scissors! Elegant…Inevetable🎉….keep ‘‘em coming BYP.
I too was surprised at how many things were happening! A great game to play through several times and keep those ideas in mind for our own games.
Is this really happening?? I'm stoked!!
YEP!!!!!

RUclips always shaves one second off of the length of the video

are you hanging that chart /board off a book? You could try a nail on the book shelf?
Well, yeah.....it makes it easy to move it around for me. I know, I'm so different it's almost weird. But it works.
