If I’m allergic to coconut, is there anything I can use instead? Edit: I used crushed up Weatbix cereal and it replicated the texture perfectly. Awesome recipe for the holiday season!
for mine i used sprinkiels and it turned out greart and they were really prettey no joke but my reason is cause i couldnt find coconut from nowhere so i used sprinkles
It’s Easy recipe, previously made it in school but forgot it so thanks ,I subbed. What can we use instead of biscuits? I used plain rice crispy cereal and crushed it too and it tastes amazing.
I remember back in year 4 my class made these but I was away on that day. So I’m going to make them now but this time instead of making it with a annoying classmate I’m gonna make it at home.
Just made this, left the coconut out and it was pretty stuck to the plate i used..yummy though. Want to ask how long it can be left out..would it melt?
This is highly dependent on the condensed milk. Most of them can be frozen for up to 3 months. Please stay connected to our RUclips channel for more. 😊
I would replace the same amount with biscuits, or as much as needed until the same consistency is reached. Please stay connected to our channel for more... 😀
You'll need to refrigerate in order to give them a little bit of stiff structure. If it's ok for you to eat them soft, it's not a problem at all. Please stay connected to our channel. :)
An easier recipe that don't require any condensed milk would be. 4dl oatmeal 3 tablespoons of cacao 1.5dl sugar 150g butter 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar. Optional add a splice of brewed coffe for a more mature taste. Roll in a topping of choice Cocanut flakes Those bigger pieces of sugar, don't remember the name Icecream topping flakes also don't remember what they're called. Or something else. A classic Swedish chocolate ball.
I liked the idea but the measurement sucked. I tried to Google the equivalent, my kitchen scale was acting up so I was lost. I used the approximate measure but it turned out too sticky. 😮 I did not like the results. Sorry😏
I made these at home, they are definitely a 10/10 not only are they tasty but easy to make!

Can unsweetened coconut be substituted? Desiccated is so expensive.
That's very difficult, since it is the main ingredient.
What would be comparable to the biscuits in the United States ?
Any sort of tea biscuits will work fine... 😊 (example: McVities Rich Tea Biscuits).

How many packets of biscuits do we put?
Depending on the brand, I'm using 1/2 a pack of locally produced biscuits.
Perfect Well done xxx

Can we use fresh coconut is cheaper than dry one
This would require a change in all other ingredients, since the moisture level will increase, but it is surely worth a try. 😊
