Being a flight-attendant myself, I cannot understand how complacent passengers are when it comes to in-flight common basic safety. We get eye rolls all the time. I have had to argue with parents who deliberately have their kids lay on the floor to sleep. Business class passengers sleep with no seat belt on when their seats are in lay flat position. In regards to the lady who alledgedly had her seat belt on... how many passengers "wear" their seat so loosely that it actually equals to not having it on at all. As a regular crew on the trans-pacific flights, I cannot recommand enough to everyone to keep buckled up unless you head to the washroom or briefly need to get up to retrieve luggage or momentarily need to stretch. This passenger is awesome. Articulate, factual in her report and no exaggeration or assumptions. And yes this reporter is a poor listener.
this reporter is SO bad!!, He is NOT listening! Passenger forced to repeat herself multiple times. If he wants the interviewee to repeat he should say, "once again". He didnt hear her say there were fractures? lacerations? Asks if pilots need to make momentary decisions after she already said they flew another hour while treating injuries and then choice was made. Part of being a journalist is LISTENING.
Yes, he must be brand new and nervous or maybe an emergency fill in. He speaks English but does he understand it? Wow, I feel sorry for him because he's going to feel awful when reviewing this.
@@judil3294 It's constructive criticism. If he's a new reporter, hopefully he'll realize he needs to listen to the people he is interviewing. He speaks very well and seems to have potential.
Actually the toilet is so small that you will not hit your head that hard, like if you fly up from your seat and hit the ceiling. So I would prefer the toilet.

Is this extreme turbulence common?
@@markmacpherson90 Not common no, but not rare either.

Lol so true
Imagine being on the toilet

this is why there is a safety strap called SEATBELT
Why would a plane drop like that so sudden. Don't they have a warning system of turbulence in place and adjust?
Yes! The reporter is so bad.
she should be a reporter lol
so collected.
