To me this is the most emotional injury I’ve had in my life simply because I’m the biggest Aaron Rodgers fan and I know tons of people don’t like him but this man has helped me through my childhood and gave me a reason to enjoy football every year. And to see him go down and never even finish the game just breaks my heart especially after seeing the crowd go insane and on 9/11. It’s a sad day and I really wanted him to go out on a good note not a bad one.
At his age this is going to take so much effort. My friend is 26 and he’s never been the same after tearing his achilles at 24. I was back to normal after 6 months of rehab post ACL tear.
Gotta feel bad. I'm an AR fan and have been hoping he joined my 9ers. I ruptured my Achilles in my 20s it's the worse. After surgery I was out for a year just to be able to play pickup basketball again. To do that at 39 would be tough.
im so sad. I fell in love with football because of rodgers. I am heartbroken. I hope he finds peace and happiness with whatever he chooses moving forward. 💔
Prayers for Rodgers, this is gonna be a tough rehab. Hope he decides to stay around the team during this time, his nuggets of coaching advice (both offense and defense) will be HUGE to keep this team's morale up. Be a player-coach for this season!
This sucks for Aaron. Great players playing with passion and joy for the season is always contagious for the fans and its a huge blow to see this all come down so quickly.
Coming all the way back from an Achilles tear at 39 years-old is almost impossible. Father time is undefeated. I think it’s over. Sad ending to a great career.
who cares. 75 million in his pocket. That's the easiest 75 million in history, literally. Lmao! That bich played one drive and got 75 million and no hits HAHAHAHHAHAHAA
@arsenioseslpodcast3143 There is no such thing as a "garbage super bowl." A title is a title even if you don't like the guy. He had to play whoever the AFC champion was. Yeah, he only had one super bowl, but dude balled out for a lot of seasons. Plus, it takes more than great QB play to win a super bowl. I ain't saying he's the goat, I'm saying he's had a hall-of-fame level career. If you disagree, so be it.
Praying for a speedy and healthy recovery from him. I’m just devasted at what happened. Whether you like Aaron or not you never want to see a player have something like that happen. He will come back I believe that I don’t see him ending his career because of that. Hope he gets healthy and comeback and wins it next year 🙏
Kobe said it best once that tearing your Achilles is like the Kiss of Death for all athletes 😢 💔Hopefully Rodgers comes back next season better than he as been before cause I was really curious to see how he would perform with a new team, with a new offense that has some playmakers like Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson (along with some familiar faces)
Aaron Rodgers had a heck if a career but I can see him retiring and possibly signing a 1 day contract with the packers and walking off with his head held high
As an adult I ruptured my Achilles playing basketball. The negative results were substantial. My leg has never been the same and it has atrophied about 15% compared to my normal leg. Remember, he was tackled by a rusher that was not even blocked! What’s to prevent this from happening to a 40+ year old quarterback, who now has become even more immobile as a result of this injury? I think we’ve seen the last of him in a Jets uniform… Or any other uniform as well…
As a bills fan, it really sucks. Because I was really looking forward to seeing the next few years of Rodger's career versus Josh Allen. And now I don't think we're ever going to see that.
I've been a Jets fan since 1981, I always expect to lose and my time as a fan has been easy because there have never been any expectations. I had so much hope, I was in tears because of 9-11 and I am from NY and seeing him run out on the field with the flag my God I was so happy. I am numb now 😥
This happened to Broadway Joe on more than one occasion. I remember him trying to tackle a player who had intercepted him in a preseason game and suffering a season-ending knee injury. That was it for the Jets for that season. Maybe we’d have won more than one championship had Joe not had his season-ending surgeries. But as a long-suffering Jets fan, this was just par for the course :-(
As a Jets fan I can’t say i’m surprised this happened to us. Literally anything bad that can happen to a franchise it happens to the Jets. Well I guess we will be drafting another QB at next years draft which will more than likely result in a bust.
I have a feeling this is a blessing in disguise. Zach Wilson gets a second chance, and I have a feeling he will make the most of it. I predict we come back here after 8 games, and Wilson has the Jets in a great position. You know Wilson was not preparing like a starter, but he still had a pretty good game as a backup. So I am gonna predict Zach Wilson proves the doubters wrong, and turns his career around.
@@chrisgullett4332 its all about that defense, Zach is simply gonna be asked to not lose the games period, they will be today's version of the Baltimore ravens with Trent Dilfer
As a bears fan, I was so excited to see Aaron lose in the playoffs or lose in the championship game to Mahomes....but man, this sucks man I wouldn't wish this on him even if he beat us 100,000,000 times. Good luck on your recovery Aaron ❤.
I’m 35 years old, a season ticket holder since 2014, and a lifelong Jets fan since like 1994 (as far back as I can remember.) I almost cried last night three times: first when Thunderstruck was blasting and Rodgers came out (it felt so good), second time when he got carted off (I knew it was over), and third time when we won with the walk-off TD (because I know that with a healthy Rodgers this team is for real a Super Bowl contender.) I am devastated today.
What uncle Shannon said is what I was thinking about after watching a couple times on replay last night. Aaron should of had that ball gone. He held on too long. He’d be ok right now. I’m not a jets fan but that really sucks man. I was so pumped when he came out with the flag. I was thinking the jets are finally gonna get a shot at being big time
@@tha9thwondertv976he didn’t he did exactly what he was suppose to it a 3 step & he was suppose to chip block that’s exactly what he did. Aaron was suppose to throw it rite away ASAP

I am absolutely gutted for Rodgers. I know first hand how difficult it is to overcome this injury. He's always been one of my favorite players to watch. If we've seen the last of him, Thank you for all the great moments but I doubt we have seen the last....Niners Fan
LMFAOOOOO AND HE STILL GOT THAT BAG OF MONEY WHILE ALL YOU BICHESSS ARE CRYING LIKE BICHESSSS HAHAHA. He'll be fine. Got money, may or may not retire, who tf cares? Not your life. Stfu and stop crying lmfao
He's a diva and a crybaby, I hope he stays injured forever and has to use a cane the rest of his life.
Just absolutely devastating news man. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers was the reason I started watching football, and why I love it. Praying for a speedy recovery for Aaron 🙏🏻
The Jets fanbase is gonna have a tombstone that reads here lies all our hopes and dreams like Squidward.
I will be using a noose today sadly
We beat one of the best teams in the NFL with Zach Wilson, so we can beat any other team but the Chiefs, Cowboys, and Eagles.
@@Ian-zf5ss Again.. 4 turnovers gift-wrapped the win dude.. Jets season is toast if Zach doesn't take huge leap forward.
@@coachYte We got those turnovers because of our defensive positions. Plus most of the scoring drives didn't even come from the turnovers or we were way in the back anyway. Not to mention if ur talking turnovers then Dak Prescott is right up our wheelhouse next week. Is Rodgers getting injured a horrible detriment? absolutely, but we won 7 games last year with Zach or QBs at his level. This year we have an equally tough schedule, The young guys have another year of expirience, and Zach has gotten a bit better as well.

Wow that's really devastating. First for Aaron and all his work into being on a new team. Then Jets team and fan base smh this is a sucker punch to the gut.
It really is
SAS, Pat, and Shannon are three big personalities, and their always theatrical more often than not. You can tell this hit hard for them.
Funny they have Pat and Shannon on ..maybe we will see Aaron and Shannon next lol 😂 have to see that exchange
Always loved Rodgers since I got to watch him play at Cal. Tough loss not just for the Jets but for the NFL.

Mr. Rodgers? lmfao
It sucks, I was looking forward to watching him play on this team and seeing how good they would be. I sure hope he comes back next year. 😔
Life can be very cruel.
During the replay last night you could see his Achilles tear! Sad day for Jets fans get well AR!
It’s a sad day and I really wanted him to go out on a good note not a bad one.
cry moar?
@@effie4903??
The biggest injury YOU'VE ever had? LMAO 🤣😂 doofy
You have got to be kidding
You poor poor thing, I have a shoulder you can CRY on....🤣😂🤣😂
Sometimes it's just time to let it go
At his age this is going to take so much effort.
Imagine predicting this conversation like 2 years ago 😂
im so sad. I fell in love with football because of rodgers. I am heartbroken. I hope he finds peace and happiness with whatever he chooses moving forward. 💔
Now u can fall in love with Russell Wilson
From a Eagles fan. Glad the Jets got the win sad Rogers got hurt. He will recover just hope it does not take two seasons.
I could have put money on this, I had a gut feeling Roger's was gonna go down injured this season. Didn't expect it to be this soon though.
Prayers for Rodgers, this is gonna be a tough rehab. Hope he decides to stay around the team during this time, his nuggets of coaching advice (both offense and defense) will be HUGE to keep this team's morale up. Be a player-coach for this season!

Well, Aaron Rodgers learned the hard way that the grass isn't always greener on the other green team...
Good luck to Zack Wilson, dudes gonna have so much pressure this season
Cowboys gonna blow jets out now it's football but Dallas going hunting
This sucks for Aaron. Great players playing with passion and joy for the season is always contagious for the fans and its a huge blow to see this all come down so quickly.
Coming all the way back from an Achilles tear at 39 years-old is almost impossible. Father time is undefeated. I think it’s over. Sad ending to a great career.
who cares. 75 million in his pocket. That's the easiest 75 million in history, literally. Lmao! That bich played one drive and got 75 million and no hits HAHAHAHHAHAHAA
Great career? One garbage superbowl against the garbage steelers? hahahhahahaha
Best wished for the recovery A-Rod. You're a legend, sometimes life just has other plans. 🤜🤛
Pat and Shannon being on here made me come back since max left… show looks great
Fax Kellerman
Praying for a speedy and healthy recovery from him. I’m just devasted at what happened. Whether you like Aaron or not you never want to see a player have something like that happen. He will come back I believe that I don’t see him ending his career because of that. Hope he gets healthy and comeback and wins it next year 🙏
Speedy at his age is out of the question. This is a career ending injury
Ummmm.....Rodgers didn't twist his ankle .... he shredded his Achilles.
Its a hard recovery but its doable. Look at Klay Thompson.

Aaron Rodgers had a heck if a career but I can see him retiring and possibly signing a 1 day contract with the packers and walking off with his head held high
Seeling Stephen A, Shannon and pat all together is awesome
This trio is legendary espn really did something with this lineup 👏
Nice how Pat refers to Sharpe as ‘unc’ 😎
As an adult I ruptured my Achilles playing basketball. The negative results were substantial. My leg has never been the same and it has atrophied about 15% compared to my normal leg. Remember, he was tackled by a rusher that was not even blocked! What’s to prevent this from happening to a 40+ year old quarterback, who now has become even more immobile as a result of this injury? I think we’ve seen the last of him in a Jets uniform… Or any other uniform as well…
This is gutting to see, really hope this isn't the end and he gets to come back and play it out on his terms.
It’s over
As a bills fan, it really sucks. Because I was really looking forward to seeing the next few years of Rodger's career versus Josh Allen. And now I don't think we're ever going to see that.
i got no idea how molly survived all the firings at espn
I've been a Jets fan since 1981, I always expect to lose and my time as a fan has been easy because there have never been any expectations. I had so much hope, I was in tears because of 9-11 and I am from NY and seeing him run out on the field with the flag my God I was so happy. I am numb now 😥
Prayers for Aaron Rodgers from a Dallas Cowboys fan. 🙏
Feel for y’all man
I have a feeling this is a blessing in disguise.
@@chrisgullett4332no he won't

It does suck that he has to deal with an injury like that. It takes a year or more just to get back to normal. Very frustrating but life moves on.
All the things going on in the world and you crying over a football player. Idol worshiper
What a way to start a new chapter in his career (like he said he was looking forward to.) Well wishes.
What uncle Shannon said is what I was thinking about after watching a couple times on replay last night. Aaron should of had that ball gone. He held on too long. He’d be ok right now. I’m not a jets fan but that really sucks man. I was so pumped when he came out with the flag. I was thinking the jets are finally gonna get a shot at being big time
That LT blew it.

It sucks to see Rodgers go down hurt and I’m not even a Jets fan but everyone called it and said that the offensive line was going to be the end of him! What disgusts me is that theirs videos of Packer fans cheering that he went down! Best thing he could do is mentor Zach Wilson now
