    TECH TIP: Many QA1 shocks are designed to be rebuilt and revalved by racers. Check out our video on how to disassemble and reassemble your monotube circle track shocks.

    Lovely video
    Clearly explained specially the Nitrogen filling part like no other videos.
    Thanks

    How can one get some tools like that,especially for filling the gas?

    These are really easy to build

    Why do they have fluid and not gas like many others ?

    What kind of tools did you used to put a nitrogen into shock??

    • @QA1TECH
      @QA1TECH  7 лет назад

      It depends on the valve fitted to the shock, but we use either a Schrader valve fill tool or a Hyperscrew fill tool. Here's a link with more info: www.qa1.net/suspension/circle-track-shock-accessories/monotube-schrader-valve-fill-tool

      How about tein coilover? What kind of tool used for that?

    • @QA1TECH
      @QA1TECH  7 лет назад

      Sorry, but I'm not familiar with Tein's construction or if rebuild parts are available. I replied to you on Facebook as well with a link to our authorized rebuilders. You could try reaching out to one of them to see if they can be of further assistance. Also, Feal Suspension might be another resource you could look into. Thanks!

    Awesome video mate. Does the gas need to be nitrogen?

    How do you know how much psi you’re putting into the shock?
    Awesome video!!

    • @QA1TECH
      @QA1TECH  6 лет назад +3

      The gas pressure in the shock depends on the compression valving of the shock. The stiffer the compression valving, the more pressure that’s required.
      For 26 series shocks, set the pressure regulator on your nitrogen tank to the following pressure:
      Compression Valving PSI
      1 100
      2 100
      3 100
      4 100
      5 100
      6 100
      7 125
      8 150
      9 175
      10 300
      11 300
      12 300

      Thank you.
      I want to do some “tinkering” so I can get a better understanding on shocks.

    what is the pressure to fill in? in psi

    • @QA1TECH
      @QA1TECH  9 лет назад +1

      +eezuan othman It depends on the compression valving of the shock. We use 100 psi for up to a 6 valve, 125 for 7, 150 for 8, 175 for 9 and 300 on 10, 11 and 12. You can call our tech line at 952-985-5675 if you have any other questions.

    Hyper screw?

    • @QA1TECH
      @QA1TECH  10 лет назад +1

      A Hyperscrew is a QA1 Exclusive gas sealing screw. Through the Hypercharging process, nitrogen gas pressure is retained inside the shock by the Hyperscrew. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us at 800.721.7761.
