I'm joyous. Since mid December I lost 11 pounds at 1200 calories and boom it stopped. About 8 days ago I reduced it to 1000 and strictly journal led and measured plus after looking at another channal re high BP I reduced sodium to 1500 mgs a day. I'm now at 15 lbs down. He's right heavy people can do very well on lower calories. Even doctors can be wrong I listened to mine for a while eith the 1400 cals a day mantra. But u need to understand how active are or are not. If you are just moderate walking every day u may need less calories. At least that was my issue. So glad I came upon this channel.

Please don't take anything this guy says seriously. This is not a healthy way to lose weight.

@@joliemadigan4244 For example - electrolytes - an electrical charge carrying substances. You need ceartain amout of it every day, you cannot store it. Without it you gonna die, seriously. If you stick to low calorie diet for few days, you might be OK, but long term - you will be tired like bodybuilders in their peak physique, probably fall into depression and gain the weight back after or even before you finish your goal. The slower your weight loss is, the more likely you will keep the weight off long term.

@Martin Klein For starters, he isn't suggesting this is long term. Seeing this type of content in short form can be very confusing. I had to watch through quite a few videos to understand what he was saying.
He also isn't suggesting a 6'2 man eat 1000 or 800 calories. He's explaining it is actually much more personalized than we have been told it is.
If someone has quality meals, with all of their macros and nutrients lined up, and is still in a large deficit, then I can't see how this is worse then taking over a year to lose 10 lbs, because everyone argues against going under a certain calorie number.
I think the math doesn't quite add up for him to be eating 1200. however, those videos are very encouraging to someone like me. I'm a 5'2 woman with 31% BF, and have been in a frustrating plateau for over a year, due to people getting weird about me dropping my calories lower.

    Big fan of your content.
Question: You say you are around 20% bf. Do you with all your knowlage and expierience about fat loss find it still hard to stay lean year round?
Or du you simply bulk and then cut all the time?
    Kepp up the great work.

It’s very much lifestyle dependant. I personally find that if left unchecked will slowly creep back up in weight and fat. I just like to eat so I’ll forever need to pay attention to my food. But you can also do purposeful cuts and lean bulks too. Making the overeating phase much more effective to gain muscle. But anyone who gains fat back just means they have been eating too much. Which I simply accept the fact I have. I don’t get upset about it I just get on with it 😊
